The folks at Nido Plumbing, in particular Brandon and Arran were stellar plumbers and from now on my go to for all plumbing needs for not only my home but also those of my clients and friends. I had a big water issue from a recent remodel and the entire time we speculated it came from drainage. After several visits to isolate the problem Brandon and Arran had a different theory...maybe the issue isn't a drain issue after all. They traced the problem to water softener as the glue seal wasn't fully set but that didn't really explain why there was so much water leaking and they weren't satisfied yet. The investigated other possibilities and asked me to turn on my AC, once I did that, gallons and gallons of water started flowing and turns out that it isn't a plumbing issue but rather, an HVAC issue. They both spent multiple days and hours diagnosing the problem and were not satisfied until they found the problem. Arran assured me that he's not giving up until he located the source and I commend them both for being diligent, honest, and thinking outside of the box!!! Getting a heat pump water heater probably is not a big deal but getting one under Tech Clean California rebate program certainly is --quite a bit of paper work to jump through. Nido's project coordinator Jerard Grande is patient and efficient and thanks to him I got my HPWH also in time for Federal tax credit. The installation initially didn't go as smoothly as one hoped. We are so impressed with Nido Plumbing. I did a request here on Yelp and I had a lot of plumbers reach out to me, it was overwhelming. My husband let me know what we needed from the plumber and I asked for worst case scenario (needing a new flange) and best case scenario (new toilet). I had other plumbers call me and text me. However, I was told by another plumber that I must know I need a flange because I talked to another plumber. He was rude and condescending. However, Vee called me and talked to me and I was completely honest with her when she asked what I was looking for. She was so patient with me. I had no clue what the difference between one piece, two piece, elongated vs. round. She was helpful sending me photos and laughing with me as I told her, "I have no clue what that is!" She scheduled an appointment for me. I mentioned that I needed to be out of the house by a certain time and she said she would let the person know. When I got a confirmation of who would be coming out, his name (Do Bin Kim) and photo of him was on my email and it gave me comfort. The guy was early and they were so efficient. It was a two man team. He was completely honest with me telling me that I didn't need a new flange and it still looked good. The two men were respectful and kind. They were in an out of the house and he would let me know they would be right back when they needed to go to the store. The price wasn't bad, especially, for the rush I was asking for. The two gentleman did an amazing job, we were so happy with the beautiful new toilet. We definitely will be using them again when we need to redo our upstairs bathroom. read more

I just had a fantastic experience with Matt from Nido Plumbing. He texted me 20 to 30 minutes before his arrival. He was here a few minutes early and at the beginning of the two hour time window. He diagnosed the problem with my on-demand water heater immediately and was able to easily and quickly fix it. I believe this Rennai water heater is 17- 18 years old and has never been serviced so I couldn't believe that he was going to be able to get it working again without some major work. However Technician arrived late, didn't do the job during his first visit because of scheduling error so had to come back again. The work took far too long and it seems that it was due to inexperience and not having the right tools. Once job was done, a final check was not done and there was leaking.
