Night Owl is honestly the best. Unfortunately you have to have an ID to go & I am always losing my ID. I'm not sure if that's just a night time thing or an all the time thing though. They have some really great pizza options. The pretty fly for a white pie & Cajun surfer are my favorite. They always have a pizza and a burger of the week. The burger was good, it was one of those smashed patties. I really like the pizza fries and the wings are good too but the pizza is really the main great part. I really wanted to love this place, but overall the experience just ended up being pretty disappointing for me. One thing I did enjoy was that you can fully customize your pizza with your own combination of toppings, which is always a plus because I like being able to build exactly what I'm craving. Unfortunately though, the actual taste just wasn't really there for me. It wasn't bad, but it definitely didn't live up to the hype I was expecting. I ordered a pizza with basil and tomatoes, and while they gave a good amount of tomatoes, I felt like they barely put any basil on it at all. It was more like a few tiny slivers sprinkled across the top instead of enough to actually taste throughout the pizza, which was disappointing because basil was one of the main flavors I was looking forward to. The sides also unfortunately missed the mark for me. The garlic rolls weren't great, and the buffalo fries were pretty underwhelming too. Nothing really stood out flavor-wise. The service also definitely could've been much better. We waited around 20-30 minutes before anyone even came over to take our order, which felt excessive, especially since we were already seated and waiting for awhile. The atmosphere is really fun and interesting. Chill vibes, plenty of TVs for sports games, and the waitress was very sweet. The pizza was thinner but large, and the crust was extremely crunchy and tasty. Definitely recommend the ranch. Garlic knots were not super garlicky, but very cheesy, and the marinara on the side compliments it well. The Buffalo Chicken Fries were ok, nothing special, nothing wrong with them at all though. The flavors on the pizzas were very different but sooooo good. The White pizza was a classic white sauce with spinach type slice, but the sidewalk surfer was weird. Weird in a good way though, almost like eating a sub sandwich in pizza slice form. I didn't like the initial bite because it was so different, but immediately fell in love with it. Cannolis aren't my thing, but they seemed to taste good. Can't review that as much. Check this place out though, you won't regret it. I identify as a night owl so the name is all I needed to see. I made my way over and parked in the lot they share with several other businesses behind the building. Ambiance (4.5/5): My kind of spot. They have a nice patio with water misters but I opted to sit inside. There's a square bar and seating on the exterior. I sat at a half booth facing the bar. You'll find a wood interior with skate boards to give you a chill and laid back vibe. My kind of bar. Casual. Service (5/5): My waiter was everything I expect in a service experience. He was friendly and efficient. He brought my print out receipt without me asking. He checked in just enough. He knew I was going to ask about WiFi since I brought my computer in and provided it proactively. A job well done. Drinks (N/A): I had an Arnold Palmer so not much to talk about but they do have a nice list of craft cocktails that I'll have to try out next time around. Food (4/5.5): As you can tell from their name, pizza is their focus. They have whole pies and pizza by the slice. I got a slice with pineapple, ham, and bacon so that I can gather the tears of any native Italian. It's a good size and solid pizza. Not up in the best I've ever had conversation, but they do it well. I also got an order of their Ziggy fries, a generous portion of crispy fries drizzled with parmesan, oil, and other goodies. They're addicting. Next time around, I'd love to try their wings. Night Owl is officially one of my new favorite bars in Phoenix. I came to Nigh Owl on a Friday night for some dinner with visitors we had in town. It's a great spot for both adults and kids with the retro pinball machines. They also have a nice dog friendly outdoor dining area. It's perfect for the cooler weather. Our server was super friendly & food all came out pretty quickly. We ordered some wings, fries & pizzas. Night Owl was highly recommended by a friend so when I needed a quick dinner for the family (and a couple of friends), I decided to order-in and give it a shot... We had a large pizza, a few dozen wings, and two Caesar Salads. I way over ordered as usual! Everything was good and was delivered seamlessly... We ended up finishing both salads but had tons of leftover pizza and wings. The sauces for the wings all came on the side and the wings were good dry, but I have a feeling everything would have been even better if we ate at the restaurant vs did delivery. Damn, I was wrong! The patio felt amazing. There are so many fans and misters. Patio was in the shade by the time and it felt noticeably cooler and refreshing. We had a waitress for the table I but didn't feel like waiting for her so I went and opened a tab at the bar. We were happy to order "the codger" a few times ($9 for a beer plus shot of old grand dad is a good little drink). They even offer Malort if you're feeling in the mood lol, we would have ordered it but were told they are currently out. I also tried the tongue & groove (a vodka with strawberries cocktail) and it was tasty. We were there for a few hours and had an awesome time! Met up with someone here Saturday evening for a drink. I've been here a few times before already. It's a chill spot. The bartop looks like a pinball machine and is cool to see at night. They also have some pinball and arcade games along the side. I usually order the Skate Betty. I don't like gin but that drink isn't bad. This time, I ordered the Tongue & Groove. Night Owl is a 5/5 for me, and I would go back again, and again! I love a good casual spot with some top tier bar food. My boyfriend and I sat outside, which was a nice patio area with misters during this heat, but there is an indoor area with a bar that has more of a different and louder vibe. There are also screens in the outside patio area for all the sporting events. The Ziggy fries (garlic truffle parmesan) were crispy and flavorful. These actually tasted like they were tossed with garlic parmesan instead of it being a last minute addition. We ordered 12 wings with buffalo and Ziggy sauce on the side. The wings without the sauce were just as good! They were also very crispy and flavorful and HUGE so shoutout to Night Owl for not being stingy. The Ziggy sauce is sweet with a little tangy kick, and I was a big fan. We also got three pies by the slice: Maui Waui, Pineapple Express and So Fresh and So Clean. I'm typically not a huge pizza person, but I annihilated my slice. My boyfriend got an Old Fashion, which he is a fan of and said Night Owl's is really good, and I got a mule. I'm sad because I wanted a guava cider and literally less than a minute later, the waitress said they ran out! The waitress was really sweet and attentive, and the food came out fairly quickly!
