    Reuben sandwich + fries

Go here, get the Reuben, end of story. Best I've ever had, which includes my own, you won't regret it.

I love their queso and chips!!!

We have been "regulars" since 2021 and it's because of the consistent quality of food and service. As previously stated - great location with plenty of parking - however....the lot on the Nighthawk's side is shared with Mast Landing...sooo, even though it's a big lot, the lot has filled up to the point we had to park on the other side of the main driveway - which is not an issue - it's not a far walk, however, it can get a little dicey because people fly through this lot. We still love their smashburgers - you can get a signature one and you can build your own - they have really expanded options over the past 5 years. The chicken sandwiches are always so good. I recently discovered I loved the Jalapeño Popper Chicken sandwich. Their fries are always so great - especially if you have queso. Speaking of queso - one of the best things they have added to their appetizer menu...chips and queso- We love eating the leftover queso with our fries with our sandwiches. Chips have a lovely seasoning - sometimes a little heavy handed with flavor - but they are still delicious. I love their breadstick/pizza appetizer. it's more a focaccia bread and it's soooo good. Sometimes I just have that for my main meal. They have wonderful local beers in the cooler and wonderful sparkling non-alcoholic options as well. Don't forget to ask about their specials. In January we had the chicken curry soup - holy moly - it was SOOOOOO GOOOD!!!! And the warm pita that accompanies it. It's perfect. The shaved brussel sprout caesar is soooo good and VERY filling. While it's a small dining area - we have never found it crowded where there weren't seats. The food is just as delicious to-go. They do a ton of to-go orders. We will continue to be regulars (no less than 1x every couple of months). Don't forget you can earn Toastab Rewards!

Would I recommend? Yes yes yes a must stop at place! Would I return if I was local or travel traveling through yes Traveling for work and my work just so happened to be right next-door to this restaurant so no research done decided to stop in and boy am I ever glad I did The seating is small, but it's comfortable. It's clean. The staff are well dressed appropriately. They're friendly and they know their menu. Service was fast. Food was hot and it was very, very tasty. The portion sizes were large and I love my food. I was able to take home half my sandwich in my brussels sprouts, and each of us took home one of those sweet honey corn fritter thingies. I hope if you're in the area, you're gonna stop by and check this place out it's also attached to a brewery but my husband and I we don't drink so we weren't interested in that And I felt the price was just right for the food

Went to mast landing for some brews and found out they had a restaurant directly adjacent that provides food to the brewery patrons. They have their own dine-in restaurant but we never went inside of it we just used the service window inside the brewery to pick up our food. We were sitting outside in the back and used the QR code and toast app to order; which was a breeze. It took about 10 mins or so before I got a text that the food was ready. I liked that you could leave your tab open in case you wanted to order something else. My son had the turkey club and I had the Reuben. Both were very good with the Reuben being the better of the 2. The corned beef was sliced really thin and piled high. The cheese was melty and tied the sando together nicely. It wasn't drowning in dressing either. Easily an 8/10 maybe even a 9/10. The turkey was a little dry on the club, but that could have been made better with a little mayo but my kid has not developed a taste for condiments yet. Regardless, it was still really good. We got the fries upgrade on one sandwich to split. They were a mixed bag with some crispy, some limp and some perfect. Overall we had a great experience and could even say that the food, not the beer, was the highlight of the night.

Food was delicious! My son asked about the popper sauce just wanting a description, unfortunately the person could not give us much information which was disappointing but my son ordered the jalapeño popper burger and said it was good. I had the BBQ burger, it too was good. If you are GF they have options, vegan they have options. I have been told that certain items sell out often one being the GF pizza sticks. I did think that the place would be larger but it is small and quaint. If we are in the Freeport area again we will return. The only drawback, the up charge on fries.. I am not complaining, I understand up charges happen it is part of the business but $5 I thought was a bit much, again my opinion they were delicious! My $17 burger because $23

Misty's Chicken Sandwich! (But with fried chicken)
    Crystal C.

My kids and I popped in on a summer day after a bit of shopping at the outlets. The space was a smaller than expected (holds maybe 15-20ppl). I did notice a patio outside but nobody was sitting there and it wasn't clear if that was part of Nighthawk or Mast Landing. Drinks here are all bottled. My kids picked out $3 bottles of IBC rootbeer. When it came to ordering mains, I asked if I could get the Misty's chicken sandwich, but fried. That seemed to throw the waitress off. She said she'd check if that was allowed. When she returned she told me they'd do it for me because they weren't that busy. That seemed odd to be considering they had many fried chicken sandwiches on the menu. It wasn't like I was creating a dish. I just wanted those toppings on fried chicken, not grilled. Plus, my daughter ordered the Queso chicken sandwich so it quite literally wasn't going to take any more time to make mine than what we had already ordered. Strange, but nonetheless, they did it. I opted to add fries with a side of ranch ($4 up-charge for friends and $1 for ranch!). They were quite good, shoe string hand-cut style. Potato chips are the default side, which I'm not crazy about. Both of our sandwiches were plentiful and yummy. My son ordered the cheese pizza sticks. They were okay for a kid with basic taste buds, but not very seasoned or flavorful and not something I'd order again at $14. I think if I wanted to grab food from here again, I'd opt for takeout.

Nighthawk's has one of the best burgers going. It's fun to order at their takeout window inside Mast Landing Brewing. The kitchen crew works really hard. All ages welcome here.

This place is drool worthy delicious. The best part is that you can sit inside Mast Landing Brewing Company and order your food through a little takeout window that connects the restaurant and the brewery. I ordered the Classic Turkey Club. The sandwich is so big I could only eat half. I also ordered a large fry to share with my husband. With the size of the sandwiches, we agreed we could have ordered a small fry to share and still had plenty of food. I highly recommend and will definitely be back!

The service was helpful and great. They were good at explaining and sharing. The inside was clean and open for seating. Not too busy so if I did dine in it would have been good. I ordered Night Manna. It was decent and all. But they didn't put any sauces on it. You had to dress your own. The fries is what kept my rating at where it was. The pizza sticks were a fun treat but very basic in flavoring. Ordered a turkey sandwich that they forgot or misplaced the bacon. And the prices are way too high to entice me to come back.

A great little spot for food later in the evening. They are great for folks with allergies as well having gluten free buns and willing to work with you on what you need to not have. We got the corn fritters which were pretty good. I thought they needed a sauce but not bad. And everyone liked their burgers so an overall win!

Grilled Chicken Sandwich with Shaved Brussel Sprouts, Bacon, and Caesar Salad

Needed quick bite to get through 5 hour drive and found Nighthawk's Kitchen right off I-95. Great spot that started as a Food Truck (see Portland's Food Editor's glowing review on wall). The Corn & Cheese Fritters with honey drizzled over them were to die for! The Mac & Cheese with Gouda Cheese, BBQ sauce, and little bits of green chilies (just enough) was also wonderful. I had the grilled chicken sandwich with shaved Brussel sprouts, crispy bacon, and Caesar Salad on a warm bun - absolutely incredibly tasting!!! Great setting, reasonably priced, attentive staff, and very clean spot. Perfect for a quick respite. You will be glad that you stopped by NightHawks!

In the same building as Mast Landing Brewery, with its own entrance and dining room as well as a pickup window inside Mast Landing. Their menu has a good assortment of finger foods, sandwiches, salads, and veggie-friendly items. As a burger aficionado, I hit the patty melt three times and their basic burger once. Patty Melt: Really tasty buttered and griddled rye housing a well crusted and very well seasoned beef slab. Juiciness has varied from freely gushing to just trickling. Patty size has varied a bit as well, from thick and fully stretching to the edges of the bread, to not as thick and not quite reaching. At its worst, it's still good eats. At its best, it's astonishingly elite. Classic Burger: A thin patty in the mashed style, loaded with seasoning. No pink, no juice. Fries: Plentiful, fresh cut, very potatoey, somewhat crisp, somewhat droopy, liberally salted. I like 'em, but those who don't like salt won't like these. Realistically, this place swings from a 3 to a 5, but highs have been higher and more frequent than lows, so gotta go with 4 stars. Looking forward to trying more of the menu, and their vegetarian friendly items for my wife make that very possible.

We ordered the seafood combo basket with haddock, scallops, clams, shrimp, and onion rings, along with a lobster roll. The seafood combo was definitely generous in portion size--there was a lot of food--but unfortunately, quantity couldn't make up for the lack of quality. The haddock was dry and completely lacked flavor. The scallops were overcooked and tough, and the shrimp were tiny and tasted like frozen, pre-packaged shrimp. Even the onion rings were disappointing--they were overly greasy, and the batter had virtually no seasoning or flavor. The lobster roll was a decent size, but it also lacked the flavorful taste you'd expect. It wasn't terrible, but it certainly wasn't memorable or worth recommending. We spent over $90 for what turned out to be a less than mediocre lunch. The atmosphere didn't help either. The inside dining area was warm and uncomfortable. They have a beautiful rooftop deck with an amazing view, but there's no canopy or shade, making it difficult to enjoy on a sunny day. The metal stools become hot in the sun and have no backs, so they're uncomfortable to sit in for more than a few minutes. Overall, this place has a great location and beautiful views, but the food and dining experience simply didn't justify the price.
