Location is great and the staff was super nice. Place is dated and falling apart. The pizza was good but the dough didn't taste fresh. Our Uber driver recommended this place, maybe I won't ask my next Uber driver for recs...

This was our first taste of Detroit style pizza on our trip! We got a pepperoni pizza, with half feta. It was SO good. Who knew feta belongs on pizza! We went mid day on a Sunday, and it was not very busy, but it should be! The pizza is so good! We ordered the pizza to go, so we could enjoy it by the water. They did tell us it would be 10/15 minutes, and it was more like a 30 minute wait. However, it is a deep dish pizza, so not all that shocked. Just wanted to note, that it will probably be a longer wait than expected. It was a very cute, and a comfortable vibe. It was a very

Nice little gem in Greek town while the main Greek town street is being renovated. Our server was great and patient with our big party and food was delicious. Great place to get the famous "flaming cheese" and the Detroit square pizza

Finally got to try Detroit style pizza at its hometown! Niki's had lots of different options and since they specialize in Greek cuisine, they also had Greek dishes. The Greek salad was massive, with lots of beets, lettuce, feta cheese, peppers, and house Greek dressing. It also came with pita bread The chicken wings were crispy and the breading was on the thicker side. We got bbq sauce on the side but you could also choose from honey mustard as well. Since we wanted to try a few different flavors, we could get a large half and half pizza with two different options. We got half feta cheese and half super, which was a combo of veggies and your choice between lamb, beef, and bacon. Unfortunately they got our order wrong twice so we couldn't get what we wanted but on the bright side, we ended up with more pizza than we expected. Sad I didn't get to try the lamb as I requested but the pizza itself was tasty and loaded with toppings. The slices are thick as well so even two slices got me very full! Service is on the slower side and our waitress disappeared for a little bit, but was friendly. There are plenty of indoor seats and the decor is modern, with lots of wooden accents and vibrant paintings. The parking is street parking only and the side streets weren't the safest to walk so make sure to bring some buddies with you!

Hands down best Za in Downtown, Went in for lunch, on a Friday. The place was desolate, nevertheless greeted with warmth and smiles from the servers. I was greeted quickly and had my pick of any booth or table. They had TVs on but they were not loud or jarring, just some white-noise in the background, and i bet if i had asked to change the channel to something i wanted to watch they would've obliged. I order the 2 slice special, which is two slices of their famous pepperoni or cheese with a Greek salad. On the salad I asked for extra olives, at no extra charge! The pizza: Fluffy, crunchy, scrumptious crust. Great cheese melt and pull on every bite. A robust and hearty red sauce that filled every bite. And the pepperoni had a delicate, yet tangy flavor that echoes through the palette. So good i almost ordered a whole pizza to go!! But we practice restraint in 2025. The salad: Nothing to right home about. Except I appreciate extra olives was no extra charge, and their olives do have the pits in em, just an fyi for anyone ordering a Greek Salad in the future. Can't wait to order a whole pie one day and chow down!

We are back again one of my favorite pizza places in Detroit. We started with Flaming greek sausage love to watch fire . We love the Wednesday special large pizza for half price. So we went with large meat lover.

I saw that the famous feta pizza here is ranked on a list of one the best in the country. I ordered a small pizza with half pepperoni and half famous feta. I went to pick it up and asked the woman at the front desk if I can have some ranch and she gave me some ranch, pepper flakes, Parmesan cheese. The famous feta pizza was so yummy and so filling. The pepperoni I would say jets is better. But overall this is a nice Detroit staple.

The best pizza, great taste. The flavor was so good.

After a long flight to Detroit, I found myself STARVING. Myself and a few friends from a conference looked around for a place to sit and have a good meal. We found Niki's Pizza - a wonderful spot not that far from the riverfront. It has pizza, salads, regular entrees, and a full bar. It was exactly what we needed! I ordered a small veggie pizza - I've never had a Detroit style pizza and it was so good! The inside of Niki's was clean and inviting. On my first visit to Niki's (because YES, I went back the next day to eat more pizza), the A/C was broken. Our server was so kind and explained the situation. She asked if we needed any additional waters or anything to compensate for the heat. Luckily, I am from sweltering Florida, so the heat was not bothering me one bit! The next day, the A/C was all fixed up. I highly recommend Niki's if you are in the area or staying at a hotel nearby. It's a great place to sit and breathe after a long day at a conference or after a day of travel!

We stopped by Niki's Pizza on a Saturday afternoon. I would describe their pizza as traditional Detroit style, but with a Greek flair. We had a large pizza with pepperoni only. Food: Great pizza - very filling. The tomato sauce was fairly sweet, and the crust was just the right amount of crispiness on the outer edges, where it contacted the pan. Service: Service was decent, but not outstanding. Our server was competent, but seemed distracted. Ambiance: This is a great, old building that's been around since the 1980's. However, there was a huge group of guests having a family reunion when we came into the restaurant, and the noise level was out of control. That's not the fault of the restaurant of course, but that large party diluted the wait staff. My left eardrum is still ringing from the soul-crushing decibel level from that table.

I was highly disappointed in my experience at Niki's Pizza. We went on a Wednesday during lunch hours where they have a half off on large pizzas. We was seated very quickly, it wasn't busy at all and a few people were in there. The inside of the restaurant is outdated and could benefit from some upgrades to it. Our pizzas were not tasty at all, they were not hot enough. We only enjoyed the fried mushrooms. I would recommend trying somewhere else if you looking to try Detroit style pizza.

We were meeting some friends before a Lions game and they decided to come here because they offer some allergy friendly options. We had already eaten but I couldn't resist the pizza. It was absolutely delicious!! We love the ambiance here and the service was great. I swear Detroit has some of the most amazing pizza options!

This spot is in the heart of Greektown, and was the only spot that I saw in the downtown area that has later hours (which is prime time for pizza). First of all, LOTS of interior seating space inside the restaurant, which I was impressed to see. I went here a few times, and the second trip is what bumped the rating up a bit. The first time I stopped here, I got the small Detroit Style Pizza (pictured), which took a solid 25 mins. I had somewhere to be, so I got it carry out. The pizza is definitely a D-Style, and was 'reliable'. I returned a few nights later because I just wanted a slice, and in an odd twist, I thought the slice was better prepared than the whole pizza. It was a cheese slice, and it was a fresh out slice. Not sure if it's because I went after midnight when the pizza is hitting different, or I was just in the mood for a slice, but my impression of the slice was better than the full pizza. With that being said, it's a spot you can go to late if you're downtown/Greektown Detroit with lots of dine in space, slices to go, and it's priced pretty standard. The service was good; nothing much to add on that end. If you like spacious dining environments and a reliable slice, this is the spot.

Fluffy bread and a pleasant crust, this pizza parlor introduced me to some of the better pizzas during my stay. I got the Meat Lovers and the Big Mack to try. The Meat Lovers is what you expect, just a good amount of meat to pair with the large amount of dough and cheese. It's a bit oily and heavy, so the Big Mack was actually my favorite due to the lighter nature and the accurate taste compraison to an actual Big Mac. Beer was also great. I've been getting into beer lately and wanted to try some Michigan-brewed beer and the options as well as the taste did not disappoint. Service was good. I let them know that I wasn't from Michigan and it was my first week there and they gave me a good run-down of the menu. Their recommendations were solid and they leave us unattended for too long. I wish there was a bit more table space at the communal tables, but there's only so much you can do with the size of the restaurant.

For a starter, the cashew Caesar salad ($8) was ordered. It came with mixed greens, house-made cashew Caesar dressing, fried shallots, and vegan parmesan. This was very tasty. It was unique with the fried shallot addition. The dressing was just enough. It all appeared very fresh and crisp. The cheese had somewhat of an odd texture, but not a big deal. For a meal, the lobster roll pizza ($45) was ordered. This was so unique that it had to be tried. It came with 6 oz. wild caught lobster, herb crème fraiche, celery and onion brunoise, Cape Cod chips, and chives with drawn butter and lemon. This was very rich, so the addition of the lemon juice and crunchy chips really helped offset that. It was also heavy due to the components incorporated. The lobster appeared fresh and there was plenty of it. The butter was not even needed, but solid for a slight dip. The crème fraiche was solid and different. The crust was crispy and great too. Will I go back? I would, yeah.

We researched the menu and decided to order ahead so that we could maximize our travel time. We arrived, and there was a small parking lot which was great since we had my elderly mother with us. I think there may have been additional parking across the street. We noticed there were picnic tables outside where people were eating pizza and upon walking in to pick up our pizza, we saw some limited indoor seating. We went to sit in a booth and were abruptly told that seating is not for "carry out customers," but we were welcome to sit outside. Ok? Their website said nothing about there being any seating, and after traveling four hours, we would have enjoyed some drinks and maybe some side dishes in addition to our pizza if the employees weren't so rude. They didn't even ask if we'd like to order something additional. So, we went outside to eat. The pizza was good, but honestly, nothing special. We ALWAYS order a cheese pizza so we can truly compare it to other pizzas. We ordered extra mozzarella on our cheese, and I'm unsure of how much cheese they normally put on a cheese pizza, but the extra cheese was no more than the other pizzas we ordered. We also ordered a pepperoni which had to the good little pepperonis that curl up. Yum! In addition we ordered a specialty pizza called "The Long Drive Home." It had vodka sauce, sausage and banana peppers. This was a crowd favorite. The sausage has incredible flavor and combines really well with the peppers and vodka sauce. I personally love vodka sauce. This one wasn't creamy like you find on pasta, but was good. Finally we did a white pizza with all cheese, ricotta and black pepper. It was also good. The garlic aioli could have a little more flavor. Not sure if there wasn't enough to taste it or if it just needs more seasoning. So, overall, the pizza is nothing special and I would recommend going for the special toppings before worrying about the extra cheese. The ambiance of the restaurant is that of many city restaurants--small, loud, nothing fancy. The picnic tables were fine. Thankfully it was not too hot and we were able to enjoy our time.
