This place is great! Ordered take out XL meat lovers pizza and cheese bread, great taste and very fair prices! Ranch was $1 extra but it was good amount so it was worth it. I've only ever had the pizza, so I can't comment on the rest of the menu. I also can't comment on dining in, because I always pick up my pie to go. Bottom Line: The pizza is a better-than-average NY style pie (for Texas, anyhow), at a VERY reasonable price. If that's what you want, you won't be disappointed here. Best value is the 16" 3-topping pie for $9.99 Mon-Wed. Also, any reviewer saying the folks here are rude hasn't spent much time in NYC. The people here aren't rude, they're just focused on transacting business rather than on engaging every customer in mindless chit chat (pizzerias with this no-nonsense mindset ABOUND in NYC, BTW). I appreciate the efficient approach that they take - I'm not there to make friends, I'm there to pick up a good NY style pie at a VERY reasonably price, and I want to do so as quickly as possible...and they always deliver that. Amazingly shiny! On a random "lets try some place new" I pulled up the Yelp app on my smartphone and searched for Italian places in Round Rock and this place was right up towards the top of the list and didn't have the look of some big chain restaurant. The great reviews plus just a good feeling from the look of the place and my boyfriend and I headed over to check it out a couple Sundays ago. Their pizza is AWESOME!! I've been twice now (took a coworker there last week to try it) and though I can't yet speak for the rest of their menu, the pizza definitely has my vote and the rest smells amazing! For the slices I CAN speak for, the ingredients tasted fresh, the sauce had a REALLY good flavor and the texture overall was brilliant! And the prices! They were SUPER reasonable. When I say reasonable, I mean I got two massive slices of pizza and a soda for six bucks and change and that is INCLUDING tax! And the other non-pizza prices are just as awesome! Definitely going back again and hope to keep introducing people to this place as the folks working it are incredibly nice and friendly and having this grub flavor making down to an art! If you love Italian food .....this is NOT the place!!! We ordered Chicken Picata , Lasagna, and Individual pizza with sausage . Chicken Picata was horrible , had no flavor what so ever , they must have given us the whole package of pasta , with a miniature piece of tasteless chicken. Lasagna was not at all better , the sauce were pretty bad , taste like it came from some cheap tomato can , let's put it this way , you better off by buying the frozen lasagna from any brand and you will get better taste than from here. The Pizza was not better either, the sausage was more like a slice up meat ball, yet again that cheap tomato sauce was Yuck!!!!!! My pizza arrived cold with no sauce and barely any cheese, and under coojed. The cheese sticks were hard and tasted like stale frying oil. Round Rock location is awful. This pizza place is next to my favorite coffee house Lamppost. I've ate pizza a few times from here for swim meets at the local high school. The prices for the pizzas were very decent. I think it was around $11 for an XL 1 topping pizza. I ordered a pepperoni and also got a small Margherita to try. The pepperoni was the better of the 2. It was decent and the family seemed to enjoy it so I'll probably buy from them again strictly based on feeding the family at an affordable price. I didn't wouldn't put them in the same category as some of the more famous or popular New York style pizza restaurants in Austin. The Margherita didn't taste or look anything like a Margherita pizza. I would probably steer clear of that one next time. They also do pasta, strombolis, calzones, sandwiches, and pizza by the slice. This used to be a saccone's before and the pizza might have been slightly better back then. Like I said though, all in all, it was OK I guess for Round Rock and out of convenience and price I'll be back at some point. read more

Tried this place out tonight for the first time. The staff was very friendly, which as a former Saccones customer was a breath of fresh air. We ordered the garlic bread and an XL Pepp and Sausage pie. This is definitely one of the better pies in town, way better than Brooklyn Pie Co, and right up there with Home Slice in my opinion. Being from the northeast originally, it's hard to find a good slice out here in Texas, but this place was as close as you can get to real New York Pizza. The Prices are very reasonable, and I'll be stopping in for lunch for the 2 slices and a coke for $5.50 special, or the Calzone and a coke $5.50 special. After perusing the menu a bit more, they have some of the traditional Italian dishes as well, and if the marinara was any indication, I'm sure it will be superb as well. read more

We had pizza from here a few times a year ago and liked it. We ordered tonight and it arrived cold, like the box wasn't even warm! It only took 30 min for it to arrive which was great. But it's as if they sent us an old pizza that was sitting around. Can't even eat it without baking it again in our own oven. Haven't been able to taste it yet to even say if it's any good. My husband and I had a mean craving for some Italian food, mainly pasta. We called 2 places in Round Rock with the best ratings on Yelp and they were both closed! Really? Restaurants close on Sundays? Life is different in Texas. Anyways, the next place with decent ratings which was open was Niki's. We called in an order of spaghetti with meat sauce and sausage and an x-large supreme pizza. The pasta was decent, enough to fill the craving we had. The pizza is new york style which is exactly what we wanted. We only like thin crust pizza. It was good but because we ordered take-out, the pizza got soggy in the box (not their fault). I put a few slices in the convection oven to crisp em up a bit and it was much better. One of the slices was so soggy though that the pizza fell through the crack and landed upside down at the back of my toaster oven and within minutes my house smelled of burnt pizza. Again, not their fault unless there's something they can do to make their crust a bit crispier, but that may just be how they bake their pizzas. This place is easy to find and on a major street not too far from the freeway. It looked pretty spacious and clean inside. There's another place we'd rather go to, but they're closed on Sundays, so if it's a Sunday and we want some pasta, we would come back to Niki's. read more

Still going here, still loving it. We've tried their pastas and are thrilled with them. The cannelloni in marinara is probably my favorite. Try the sampler--lasagna, cannelloni, and manicotti. My impression when it was brought to the table was that the portions were very small, however they turned out to be just right. You'll want to save those garlic rolls for scraping up every last drop of the authentic NY marinara sauce. We stopped in last Sunday for some pizza and did an instant about-face when we saw there was a child's birthday party happening in there. We stood in the parking lot for 10 minutes debating on where else we could go for pizza and generally whining about the unfairness of life. Even from outside we could hear the shrieks of 6-yr-old unsupervised heathens. Isn't that what Chuck E Cheese is for, parents? How about not inflicting your miniature guerrilla army on a nice locally-owned place like this? Deciding we could always stuff bits of paper napkin in our ear canals, we braved the screaming, destructive monsters and chowed down on real NY pizza. Very friendly staff. Knows many customers by name. Food is always hot. Dining room and bathrooms are clean! Always a plus. When the place is not real busy, the staff does bring the orders to the table. Two televisions. One always one sports and the other news. Not overwhelmingly loud. Very comfortable. My review lingers between 2 to 3 stars. I grew up in the Northeast and know a good NY style pizza. Is Niki's a NY Style pizza? Sure, a little too thin of a crust but essentially yes. The big question though, is it good? Unfortunately, not so much! The pizza is super greasy, the dough a bit bland tasting and way too thin, and the cheese sometimes has a nasty body odor smell to it. I would assume they are probably using the cheapest ingredients they can. On the plus side though, I really do like their sauce. Overall, it's a very average pizza. I have bought pizzas regularly from here, but only because the pizzas are dirt cheap and they are much more conveniently located than some of the other NY style pizzerias in the area. It's not a terrible pizza, but just not a very good one either. Considering the super low price, you can't complain at what you get. read more

Local family-run shop + good, affordable food = yay! There's a booth I always sit in, and just the thought of sitting down with a big plate of spaghetti and mozzarella cheese sticks (my favorite item) gets me through the day. They also have IBC root beer, which is pretty awesome. read more

Very large dining area, was my first time there. Place was completely empty around 4pm so not a very busy time. It must get pretty busy in there for all of that seating. From what I saw, the kitchen setup looked very nice. Double deck oven and plenty of clean kitchen space. Pizza was New York style. But I have to say it was very average New York pizza which is basically thin crust, big slices of decent pizza. Nothing great about their sauce and cheese was okay quality. It was just okay but at least it wasn't terrible. I haven't tried any toppings though and toppings are very important to weigh in on the quality of the pizzeria. Everything about my cheese pizza was average. I sure hope they get busy to some extent because I imagine the rent to be pretty high. read more

I had a cheese pizza and it was delicious. I love thin, floppy slices with good flavor and this works for me! I tried the Niki's in Tech Ridge too and had their cheese calzone and it's WOW! Really inexpensive and delicious. I will definitely be doing that again! I do not think the Tech Ridge location is that fabulous though, definitely not a place to eat in and the staff are what I would consider less than helpful. Went in to try a few things, and really wanted to like this place. I need a good local pizza place to frequent and become a regular. No dice, this place was not good. No flavor in the red sauce made it taste like chunky tomato soup. Crust had a strange chewiness to it that a pizza should never have. Lasagna was gross and fried mushrooms were a joke. Save your money and go to Cici's if you want plain food. The only good think to say was my salad did not have any brown spots, so yay. My scribbled order did not make it to the cook. Only 2 people working for a lunch crowd. I regretfully went ahead and tipped a dollar for a $6.50 counter order hoping that would help. Bathroom was gross - no handles on the faucet, dark entry and why do you need hand sanitizer AND soap on the sink? Is this how the employees wash their hands if they do at all? Meanwhile, 2 off duty ¿employees? came in, went behind the counter, made a meal, walked back to the restaurant and began eating. (no hand washing and they had the appearance of construction workers) 20 minutes after ordering I asked for my food and was told they were *about* to start it. We finally tried Niki's pizza after driving by it so many times! Pizza was awesome! We kept our order pretty simple and ordered cheese bread for appetizer and a large one topping pizza for dinner. Been going to Niki's pretty consistently for a while now. Always a fan of GREAT pizza. Niki's has a great staff who is friendly and courteous. The food (I have only eaten pizza and calzones) have been nothing less than delicious. The convenience factor is also a plus. I love being able to walk in and simply get a slice of pizza. All your big chains only offer whole pies. The interior reminds me of the pizza places back home (East Coast) which is nice for the aesthetics for me personally. But at the end of the day, great staff, and awesome food is what keeps me returning. Love this place! read more

I find myself coming here more and more often when I'm in need of a pizza fix. And not just any fix - pizza is my absolute, most favoritest food EVER. Nikki's is able to satisfy even my inner Italian craving goblin. I love seeing the same two guys working the register (who also prepare some of the food). I love their accents. I love that their business is doing well, and it makes me proud knowing that they more than likely will be a part of my local community for a long time to come. I've seen Niki's just passing by for years and even used to work at the CU right across the street, but kept forgetting about it, but today a post on FB reminded me, so I took my mother there for lunch. Okay, so the decor wasn't what I expected, but oh my goodness, the food was so yummy! Mom had the spaghetti with meat sauce and I had the lunch cannelloni. Okay, I part Italian, so I seldom eat red sauce out because of course, mine is the best, but the sauce with the cannelloni was so good, I used the bread to get every bit of it!!! I bought the dinner cannelloni with Alfredo for my husband's dinner. I can update later on he liked it ( he's still at work when this was written). Also, I met one of the co owner's ( wish I got his name) and he was super nice. Now I know why the food was so good..he's Sicilian! They also had a nice side salad. It was fresh and crispy. I've been going to Niki's (Round Rock) for a few years now and to the Tech Ridge location for a couple years prior to that. The Round Rock location is large with plenty of tables/seating while the Tech Ridge spot is small with just a few tables available. These friendly (family business) folks have always been very consistent with their menu. I generally go there for lunch and they have a handful of *very* reasonably priced daily specials. Personally, I almost always get the calzone. It's basically about a 10" pizza folded over and baked to gooey perfection. I'm partial to pepperoni and/or canadian bacon, but recently tried it with sausage. This last one was really excellent and prompted (reminded) me to write this review. I was expecting the smaller little balls of sausage that you find on most national chain pizza places. But instead, it was made up of a generous amount of not-too-thinly-sliced half-dollar sized pieces of sausage -- oh so good! One thing to be ready for is having to wait a little for your lunch, etc. when you get something that they have to make ... by hand ... specially for you. :) It's not a negative -- definitely worth the wait. If you need to get in and out quickly, then go for some of their slices. Why are you still reading this? Go get yourself some Niki's! read more

Got take-out with a friend. We each had the pasta sampler, a cheese calzone to share, and some salads. The red sauce on the pasta was rich, hearty, and spiced properly. You could tell it was slow cooked, as a good red sauce should be. Generous servings, as I could not finish it. The salads were fresh and crispy. The star of the meal was the calzone. It was ooey gooey cheesy goodness, with a pleasantly crisp crust. Served with an extra cup of the tasty red sauce, it helped lift the foul mood I was in. Cheese always makes things better. Prices were reasonable, approx. $29 for both of us with drinks. Not bad, since I had leftovers for lunch. Can't comment on the service, as we ate at home. Order was ready when we arrived, no waiting. Employees were very kind to the semi large group we had, about 12 or so including a couple kids. Didn't take too long to get our food and had a nice selection of pasta and pizza, also had wings. Though nothing stood out to me as to make a trip out of the way to try this place, the speed and niceness of the employees was wonderful. You order separately at the counter when you walk in. Depending on what you get you will get a number, and they bring the food to you. The only difficulty with having a large group can be the waitress speaking up and finding out who the food belongs to because of the different conversations going on. Niki's is a definitely the place in Round Rock to get some pretty authentic New York Style pizza. Not only is the pizza awesome...but their prices are incredibly reasonable! They always have specials on their pies. Aside from great pizza, they have wicked awesome calzones....and they are HUGE. I remember going into the pizza place (Saccones?) that was in the same unit as Niki's and their service was HORRIBLE....not the case with Niki's. The guys that run Niki's give great customer service and are always appreciative of my patronage. They are the only pizza place that is worth going to in Round Rock...seriously! :-) read more

I was neither impressed or unimpressed with This place. Kind of just blaaaa. We had an XL Pepperoni pizza, sausage calzone, and some wings. The pizza was ok, didn't seem to be cooked enough because when we warmed in in the oven the next day, it was much better. The calzone could have been good but the sausage was not to my liking as it was sliced linked sausage. Not great. The wings were breaded and very boring. I won't be trying those again. We will try this place again and I'm sure it will satisfy. read more
