I would like to warn everyone, that this place is scandalous. I love their food, but their business ethic is questionable. I had been noticing weird charges on my CC statement every time i'd go there and lately started to pay closer attention. Last week Wednesday, i had a chicken teriyaki to go. It was $7.69. I looked up my CC statement, i was charged $12.69. I recommend that everyone keep an eye out on charges as they seem to do this more often than not. read more

Cute little place that is a short walk away from home. Often times, fills the air Jefferson Square with delicious teriyaki chicken cooking smells that draws one to enter and order. Hands down the best teriyaki place I've ever been to. I used to go almost every other day for lunch, they have an excellent lunch menu that is cheap and delicious. The woman at the front desk is always very friendly with me, and pleasant. They have a large selection with room for alteration, so you can always get what you want. I wish this place was closer to me in north Seattle! My former favorite spots (nasai in the district and happy teriyaki up the Ave) have gone downhill so this seems to be my new favorite--the chicken teriyaki is simply scrumptious. The last few times I've been there's been a sketchy group of people hanging out by the Subway next door with their pitbull. They are very flexible for substitutions and will make things off the menu for fussy chicks who think a "side of steamed vegetables" is not an unreasonable request at every place they go to. The portions were big and service fast, but the good stops there. I swear my meal was half oil! And the food itself was lifeless. Thank goodness I had a bottle of sriracha in my office to add life.
