The only markdown from me is the time when we had 5 people, and they refused to ask a couple at a table for 4 to move to a smaller table so that we could be seated. We had to leave. Not many choices in this area. The food was not 5 star, but ok. The service wasn't great either and we had to wait a long time for the check. The ambience is old, everything is outdated. The server seemed as if it was the bain of her existence to have to work in such a joint. I wish I could say many great things but I cannot. The sauce was the best thing about this whole experience. The bread was pretry good. Skip the cheesecake, save your money. Don't have high expectations while visiting this place. read more

Someday I'm actually going to successfully order something besides the Ziti and meatballs. It seems no matter how much I try to do different this favorite finds it way to my ordering. The Greek Salad for two is also a fun way to start the meal. Wash it all down with some iced-tea and you leave a happy patron. Maybe I can convince them to refuse giving me the Ziti? We are visiting from Texas and showed up at 8:04. The website said they closed at 9:30. Walked in and the lady said "I'm sorry we are closed. We closed at 8.".....she apologized but I was taken back because the restraunt was still FULL of people and about half hadn't gotten food yet........so the kitchen wasn't closed. Left a bad taste in our mouth! Places around us in Houston would've GLADLY made us a pie to go. Smh read more

Nikos is a jam up place. Excellent pizza, pasta dishes and salads. The service is great as well. This is the way it has been for years. The only complaint that I have is that they have reduced their hours including being closed on Sundays now. read more

This was a family favorite. Now the quality of the food has gone down hill. My salad was a bowl of ice berg lettuce and two unripe tomato slices. The lasagna came out burnt on top and tasted old with no real seasoning . The garlic flavor was only on the cheap toast . I will never come back. read more

Ordered baked lasagna and received thrown together, half cooked pasta with piles of hamburger meat on one side and a pile of cheese on the other. My husband ordered manicotti and we've never tasted something so tasteless. Not bad service, but the food was terrible and wouldn't go back to order that again. read more

This place is one of the hometown staples. The Athenian Gyro is still one of my favorite dishes here (sauce on the side) but I also love the grinders with a Greek Salad. I actually ordered a Greek salad with a side of Athenian gyro meat and put it together to create my own special salad which was amazing. Love the salad with the house dressing it is delicious. Most of the pasta dishes very good but was disappointed with the Eggplant Parmigiana. This is an Italian restaurant located in Palatka, Florida. They also serve some Greek dishes. The space is old and worn but somewhat charming. It's obviously a place that locals frequent. The wife and I had the pizza. The pizza was decent with somewhat fresh toppings. The crust was probably one of the lightest ones I've ever had however it was also dry and completely lacking any seasoning or flavor. This place is famous for its grinders so next time I'll try one and report back. Overall the pizza was just okay. read more

Service took forever, sandwiches so soggy that they turned to mush/couldn't even pick up, eggplant raw & chewy... Stood forever ( along with several other patrons ) to pay ( while staff tried to figure what they were doing regarding a group of patrons method of payment. Okay I don't want to get you too excited or set expectations too high but this place ranks up there in the best pizza I have ever had in my life! It is wonderful! Delicious! Fresh! Tasty. The sauce is perfect. Get the large though if there are two of you. It's somewhat thin crust. The cheese is yummy too. You have got to try this pizza. Also it's a great place to dine in. Very friendly staff. The food was awful. I ordered chicken parm, not sure what they served me. It was huge but tasted awful. The spaghetti was not cooked enough and the sauce had a funny taste. The salad was a bowl of shredded lettuce with shavings of a green pepper (i asked for no onion or tomato). They don't use real butter on the garlic bread so it tasted bad too. Won't eat there again. I never saw a menu with a limit on beer either. Looks like locals eat there. Skip it and buy a tv dinner from Publix instead. read more

Hey this place isn't so bad. Unassuming/divey spot in Palatka. Went here with some skydiving friends after a long day at the dropzone. They said it was good and they weren't lying. Really enjoyed the pizzas we bought. Would definitely come back for a bite to eat! read more

Plan to be early for lunch or else they will be packed. Get the special. They usually have baked ziti on special, and it's my absolute favorite. Great price and a good portion. Sometimes even enough for a 2nd day. Good service, and don't forget to ask for a to go cup of beverage. read more
