Amazing !!!! She does thr best job ever!! I would travel 30+ minutes for her to do my eye brows!

Greeted right away when I walked into establishment. Very clean with soothing music playing along with the radio playing. A wide range of services offered. The owner is very nice and knowledgeable about skin care, waxing, and threading. My 1st service was a Brazilian wax. It was almost painless. She took her time and did small area. The eyebrow threading was my first time and it is much more different than waxing. I heard with threading the hair does not come back as fast. I drove out to Midlothian for eyebrow threading here because I couldn't find a decent looking place closer to downtown. I even called a popular spot in Carytown and they couldn't give me an idea of where to get threaded. This place is cute; doesn't look like much from the outside but the woman that was working was very sweet. I was the only customer in the middle of a week day so I didn't wait for service. She did thread rather slowly so it was painful for me, but I'm a wuss! She did an excellent job though with my small non-existent blonde brows. She simply cleaned them up to look more shaped and even filled them in for me. Super sweet! I will definitely be using this as my regular spot. read more

After having a very unpleasant bikini waxing experience last summer in Richmond (see past reviews) I usually avoid the area and get my wax done out of town.However I needed something done for valentines day asap.I got a great deal on groupon here and was even more pleased that she took me last minute a hr after calling..What a lifesaver!The shop was pleasantly decorated and extremely clean and professional.Nilam who is very sweet and made me feel comfortable uses quality products.She even has my favorite skin care products dermalogica!She gave me a fairly painless deep bikini wax while conducting me in friendly chatting that took my mind off of it.One of the best waxing experiences Ive had.If you want a pleasant experience with a lovely professional stop on by.The shop is a little hard to find,tucked away in a shopping center.However my gps led me right to it. read more

Nilam is one of the sweetest ladies I've met since moving to Richmond. I showed her a picture of how my eyebrows typically look when I have them done, and she did the job perfectly. Went here for a Brazilian with a groupon. Based on my conversation with Nilam during the wax she has years of experience in this field and recently started her own business. Scheduling was flexible with a good range of hours. The waxing was professional and clean. She checked a few times to make sure she knew what I wanted and was pleased with the results. Today was my first time visiting Nilam for a brow and lip threading service, needless to say she did an excellent job! I am very satisfied with her attention to detail and her need to make the customer feel comfortable. She is very friendly and gives you a mirror in the middle of the service to be sure that you are satisfied with what she is doing. Most salons don't do this. I went today since my brow shape has gone far too long from normal and I wanted to get it back. I went in around 3p on a Wednesday as a walk in, she was quick and very gentle when it came to threading my brows. She did amazing and it's hard for me to trust anyone with them! I found this threading place after moving to Virginia from Denver. While this place isn't as good as the place I went to in Denver, it's the best place in the richmond area. I'm not sure how they stay in business though because I've never been there when anyone else was there. I've only gotten my eyebrows threaded here but she always does a good job. First time I have every had my eyebrows threaded. I walked into the business and immediately was greeted. I was asked to wait while another client was getting their eyebrows threaded. The wait was minimal with relaxing music. I went up discussed getting my lip threading but decided on a waxing the upper lip. My eyebrows and lips were done fast and beautifully. Nicest lady ever! I called on a snow day to see if she was open...she was, but she said she was about to close but would wait for me if I could tell her when I could be there. Love! This is a great alternative to hair salon waxing. Nalim talked me into having my eyebrows threaded... Thank goodness she did. They look amazing and she even taught me how to fill in my eyebrows with make up (she sells makeup and brushes as well if you want to purchase what she uses.) My brows have never looked better. Great experience. I called at 2:45pm on a Sunday for a waxing appointment and Nilam was happy to meet me at the salon for a leg wax. She was ready with warm wax when I arrived at 3:25. I have been going to Nilam for years. She started at another salon and I was more than happy to follow her when she left. When she was there she was one of the most desirable technicians and VERY difficult to get an appointment with. She is now south Richmond but I am from Houston so I will drive wherever for quality. Nilam is just that, QUALITY. She is a perfectionist and really is just gifted at her craft. From my eyebrows which I consistently receive compliments on, to my microdermabrasion and facials- I cannot fathom going anywhere else. Her prices are fair, quality is excellent, and her work impeccable! My roommate and I both went to her until my roommate moved. Now, when she visits Richmond, she makes a point to make an appointment with Nilam.
