My friend and I decided to check out Niles as it's been a long time that we explored the area. Upon parking we saw this ice cream place that reminded us both of the Creamery in Fremont where we both grew up. There was a line but it moved fast, we were able to taste and I went for the Marble Black Raspberry with a waffle cone. It was quite delicious and was the staff favorite, the offer favorite that the staff recommended was the Coffee Almond Fudge. I can't wait to come back and try their other flavors.

Very cute and delicious little ice cream shop! The setting is cute because it's in the historic part of town and it has nice outdoor seating. The decorations inside are nice but I didn't like the smell of the place, could be whatever cleaning supplies they use. I got a customized banana split and it was well made and all the flavors were great!

Today is Sunday and I decided to have ice cream at Niles down in Fremont. When I walked in, it was small and the seating area is kind of mediocre. I think that's why people prefer not to dine indoors based on what I saw. Ice cream comes in many flavors. When I wanted vanilla ice cream, I don't see it from the display section. So I had to ask and it seemed that some of the ice cream that are available are at the other end of the counter when she scooped it. Vanilla is a very popular ice cream and I think that it's better to be displayed and ones that are underrated should be at the other side. The ice cream is very good though! It's slightly expensive though. They also sell other desserts like cookies and cupcakes, but all I'm here is the ice cream. I'll be trying other flavors when I return especially Ube haha

Been coming here for years, it's small inside and could get really crowded but they have a few tables inside and some outside as well. Most people usually take it to go and walk around the nice little town. Not the friendliest staff but the ice cream is good and they have the best cookies! So buttery and the texture nice and soft, seriously these are the best cookies! The peanut butter chocolate chip cookies are my favorite. Overall this is a good local ice cream parlor

Took a long time for this review. I have been going here for a couple years now, at least once a month when I want to walk around Niles and catch Pokémons lol Staff are friendly, they offer free samples, and they have plenty of flavors with some seasonal flavors available. The shop is small with only a couple of tables in the store but we are usually enjoying our ice-cream while walking. The ice-cream is Loards ice-cream which is one of the best imo. I usually rotate on the flavors I get. Their scoops are generous so I can usually only order 1 scoop on a sugar cone. Definitely try it out if you are in the area!

My husband and I visited this little hole in the wall because we wanted some genuine ice cream. They did not disappoint. He ordered a shake and I ordered a kid scoop. We also bought a s'mores brownie and they're already made cookies. The cookies were some of the best I've ever had. The place was really friendly and helpful as this was our first time. They had a couple seats that we were able to sit and enjoy our ice cream, which was really special. You can tell they take a lot of pride in their ice creams and it shows in the taste.

Such a pleasant experience! We were treated so nicely and got plenty help deciding from the many options. The banana split was amazing now it's becoming a weekly event for us!

Came here on a warm night. Totally forgot they serve Loards ice cream, which for those who know, it's some of the best manufactured ice cream around. Service was friendly and fast. Wife got hot fudge Sundae and I got Black and tan. Good portions ....$19 for both which isn't bad these days. We will be back soon

The $1.00 scoop! I love it for my son so he doesn't get pumped up with all that sugar from normal scoops.

This place is so special and the owner is AMAZING! She always supports our fundraisers and creates this dollar kids scoop so that little kids don't have to be bombarded with all that sugar. So happy this place offers this! We always get a regular ice cream, shake, or their tubs of ice cream to support the shop too! Their cupcakes and ice cream are also delicious!!

Ordered Toasted Almond and black raspberry ice cream. Both flavors tasted amazing. Roasted almond is less sweet. Also This place is located in the pretty old vibe like Niles town. The place is super crowded. The staff is very friendly and have good customer service. They have wide range of ice cream flavors.

Ask the Community - Niles Ice Cream Sweets & Eats

I would like to get ice cream, but I usually see crowds and lines not social distancing at all in front of the shop; is there a way to order online and just walk in to pick up and leave without being in that crowd?

Only one party at a time inside. Distance outside is up to you.

Do they make this ice cream?

Their supplier is Loard's since Treat closed down

Is there sorbet at this place? I can eat ice cream, but my kid is allergic to milk. Is there's an option that is not milk based?

Sherbet is both water demand milk based, they have those. They also have 1 or 2 sorbets (water based) always in stock

However, the taste was a little disappointing. I do like a fluffly, textured donut, however, these are served cold and very sweet. It's just a different donut than the ones I prefer. They had a wide selection of flavors, even on late morning of a weekend. We tried the tiramisu (2/5) donut and the biscoff cream donut (3/5). But both were too sweet for my taste. I can't say that I'd be back, but if you're looking for something unique, I think you'd enjoy this little shop. They also sell croissants, more savory treats, and coffee!

Of course husband last minute says day of birthday celebration that we need a cake. Found Izumi…read moreCakes on Yelp and was bummed at first because the soonest online reservation for a cake would be two days later. Husband called them around 11am and they said they were in the middle of making their strawberry cakes so they could add our order in for a same day pickup at 4pm. Pickup went well and the cake was so cute and it tasted great! Like the Chinese bakery strawberry cream cake with a moist sponge cake; not too sweet, just right. Might sound basic but it was done very well. Would 100% recommend. I don't know prices for cakes nowadays but I didn't feel bad paying about $60 for a cute and tasty cake (6", strawberry cream cake). I wouldn't bank on same day pickups, I might've just been very lucky they were in the middle of making their cakes but it wouldn't hurt to try calling early in the day if you're in a pinch for a solid cake. I'm very thankful for their service!

This spot is takeout-only, so don't plan on stopping by for long. Finding parking isn't difficult…read morebut might take a minute on busy days, as it shares a parking lot with the rest of a popular plaza. The store itself is easy to find as well, with a clear label outside. Walking in, it looks half-closed--their cakes are all stored in a large refrigerator, with nothing in the case on the counter. There is a sign proclaiming "takeout only" in slight disarray, and the seating is pushed to the side. That said, the service is friendly and the employees are quick to help you and show you what they have in stock for takeout. I ordered the 4" Berry Berry Light Cake for a birthday, and they were able to write a birthday message on the cake board, which I really appreciated. The cake also tasted very light and the sweetness was subtle, which I really enjoyed. The berry flavor in the sponge was a little too subtle, though. My main concern is that the cake does not fully resemble the picture they advertised online. It is missing the freeze-dried berries on top, and the berry glaze did not reach as far down the cake as was shown in the photo. Because the berry glaze is the main source of the berry flavor, this was a little disappointing. Also, the cake was not finished when I came to pick up the cake (and I was ~5 minutes late). I'm uncertain if this is for freshness or if there is another reason. Overall, I like the spot for the fresh and light cake. It's pleasantly unique compared to your standard sheet cake, and everything is rather cute. However, it may be a better idea to buy the cakes in-person to be 100% sure of what it will look like, though daily stock is definitely more limited than if you place an order online. I hope they reopen their indoor seating soon.
