Only thing was my son's boba got chunky and stuck to his straw so he couldn't sip anything until we ate the chuck of boba at the bottom. I enjoyed my salted Vietnamese coffee

Honestly, I wouldn't have gone here if I weren't trying to find a new boba place. But I found this one on the (toogoodtogo) app and thought why not? To be honest, I probably wouldn't return because I didn't like the taste of the milk green tea I received. Not only did the flavor seem weird but I ended up going home and brewing more green tea to try to salvage the flavor. Nothing worked to make it taste better. Also, when I arrived, the drinks weren't ready. The server went to the back and quickly made them. I think they ran out of some surprise items because it was only 2/3 full and had a lot of ice. So even though I got two drinks, it was basically like getting one. I know the (togoodtogo) app deal is a surprise bag, so you don't know what you'll get, but I really wasn't impressed with mine. The lady in front of me had the same deal and received a beautiful-looking dessert and fruit tea that were filled to the top and sealed properly. If I am only going to get the Equivalent of one drink that doesn't even taste good then even though the deal was cheap, it was money wasted.

Looking through…read morereviews, Tram Cream seems to be quite polarizing--my experience here was probably about as average as it could get. Ordering was via a kiosk and I was pleasantly surprised when my drink. And out within 2 minutes of ordering. The drink was served in a boba cup (heat sealed) which made it both easier and somehow harder to mix (harder to stir the bottom without disrupting the lid and making a mess). There was a solid chunk of what I think was egg pudding on top, but once the egg foam mixed in with the coffee, the flavors balanced each other out well. I may not go out of my way to get tram coffee, but I will likely come back given it's convenient location and otherwise decent cup of Vietnamese coffee

Prior, I didn't notify the staff because I honestly didn't want anyone to spit in my drink due to a negative review. Glad to have gave it another try!

I had been to the church before, but I didn't remember the massive coffee hangout there! It's so spacious and offers plenty of seating. How long has this place been here? I wish it were closer to where I live in San Jose! I could easily imagine sitting in one of the comfortable nooks, studying or grading papers. It's also a fantastic spot to meet up or chat with a group of friends. It was definitely a nice place for a date! When we walked in, there were hardly any available seats, but the line at the counter wasn't long. We found a quiet corner to sit and enjoyed our breakfast. I ordered a hot latte with maple syrup in the name, though I can't recall the exact name. It paired nicely with my pastry. The almond croissant I ordered was delectable, with just the right amount of sweetness and flakiness. My partner enjoyed his cappuccino and savory bacon croissant. We walked up two steps to the restroom and were surprised to find more seats and tables. I wish I had noticed that area when I was looking for a place to sit. Oh well, it was comfortable where we were. The girls should have more playdates with their cousins so we can come here more often. Is it really called a "playdate" when the kids are 12 and 15, and their cousins are between 21 and 30?

The salted maple latte was just ok... sadly it looked better than it tasted. I wasn't a huge fan of their espresso as it left a very sour after taste, even with the sweet maple syrup it wasn't very pleasant. Good espresso should be balanced and coffee forward, and I didn't get that. Almond croissant was great, but I was a bit disappointed in their coffee. Ambience is great for studying or getting some work done.

So flavorful and perfectly made. Their salsa was also a standout--freshly made, and you can definitely taste the difference. It added the perfect kick to the burrito. We also had the black cold brew and an iced Mexican mocha, and both drinks were just as good. You know it's quality coffee when even the black cold brew has noticeable citrusy notes. I've been in about a dozen times and it has been great every time! You can tell they really put their hearts into their craft here at Brewja, especially with their recent remodel making it look like a boutique fashion shop, perfect to snap a quick pic for social media. Their premade drinks and the food/kitchen items to me are the star of the show. Their horchata coffee is the perfect balance and not too sweet. Their breakfast chorizo plate specials and breakfast burritos are also very good and a great value. The only area I would say feels a little expensive is their pastries and made-to-order drinks. I went in and purchased a spinach pastry, cheese danish, and a Mexican mocha and it set me back a solid $21+ dollars after tax. The pastries at ~$6 a pop and drink at ~$8 for a large really felt like a tad bit much for my budget. Also the avocado-toasts are tasty but at ~$13-15 they are a little pricey for my taste, and I pretty easily find myself spending ~$50-60 in here pretty quickly for a couple toasts, coffees, and a pastry. For these reasons I am not able to stop by as often as I would like. Nonetheless, Brewja has become a solid staple in this community and I highly recommend this coffee shop! It always buzzing with a crowd, but not in a way that would be off-putting. They also often have a resident third-party retro mobile flower cart that parks in front on various weekends and offers hand picked beautiful flowers and gives it a cool market vibe! I hope their prices come down a bit to allow the average Joe to be able to enjoy more often as well, but they're on the right track and they're a welcome addition to this particular neighborhood that I sometimes visit and doesn't have many other options available!
