This review is for the last time I ate here (about 2 months now). Its a quite little eatery that has a selection of foods, I forgot which sandwich I ate. The service was the highlight, server was attentive to my needs and regularly checked up on me. The price for the food is a bit expensive, but its an airport... so its to be expected. Our family ate here during a flight delay. A few tables for groups and window seats looked out onto the courtyard where you could forget you're at an airport for a moment. Had a BLT, grilled cheese, salad, and flatbread. The BLT without turkey was amazing. Highly recommend. The grilled cheese came with avocado and jalapeño aoili which our teen didnt appreciate and scraped most of it off. The salad was good. The cheese on the flatbread looked like something served in a movie theater. The bread was good when I scraped the cheese off. Friendly server kept checking on us and let us know free drink refills were available if we were still around later. Good place to grab food if you're at the airport. read more

Arrived at 11:20am. We are on our way out going home. Had an hour and 10 minutes before boarding. The staff greeted us promptly and everyone was friendly. Ordered the smoked turkey sandwich. Tell me you don't want customers, without telling me you don't want customers... We had an hour before our flight and looked at all of the food options from sit down to grab-and-go at PSP. Nine Cities Craft is the only restaurant down the Agua Caliente Concourse and looks cute with a modern vibe and indoor and patio seating. No hours posted, but apparently the are open from 4:30 a.m. until the last flight from Gates 12-20. We arrived around 4:00p and there were a handful of tables eating and drinking. The big issue here was service. There was one employee who initially seated us and brought menus, then couldn't be bothered, even when we were attempting to flag her down. After a long wait, another server came ("because I'm helping her out") and took our order and the food came rather quickly. We were happy with our meals, the Grilled Chicken Club and Grilled Salmon Sandwich. We both chose chips and not the other side option coleslaw. Two groups arrived after us. The first was told it was past last call for food, but the bar was still open. They had trouble choosing a beer, since many choices were already out. Another party arrived after them and was given the option to order food. Just a strange situation of inconsistent service and menu offerings. If we were at the airport at a different time, I would hope everything would be running smoothly. But, if it is time for you to close, just put out a sign and save everyone (customer and staff) the hassle. read more

The egg sandwich was hot - likely fresh from a flash heater, the hash brown was still frozen in the center. And the three pieces of arugula were slimy. I followed the sign suggesting wait to be seated. After several minutes I was told bar seating was open and no wait. Then I ordered breakfast at 10:38am on a menu that offers breakfast only to be told they weren't serving breakfast. Then I ordered iced coffee, which they don't have then I changed it to coffee with milk to be told they don't have milk only half and half, which turned out to be vanilla flavored which I don't drink. So I asked for a coke and was told only Pepsi. Eventually I had a sandwich and water. I heard someone else ask for lemon but they only had limes. All that and I didn't even mention how long this took or the attitude of the servers ( not rude just disconnected and complacent) What a discombobulated, poorly run mess! read more

Dining options at PSP were pretty limited when I was there in September 2024 as it seemed like there was a lot of construction/reorganizing going on, so my friend and I went to Nine Cities to relax and wait for our flights. The space is a bit small but we were seated right away. There isn't a ton of room for large luggage, but our server helped us arrange our bags so they were (sort of) out of the way. The menu is small and has some breakfast options, snacks, drinks, etc. We started with chips and guacamole, which was a pretty comical portion for the price. It seemed fresh at least. We ended up hanging out here for quite a while so I got a veggie flatbread later on. It was just okay. It was fully cooked and the crust wasn't soggy, but the veggies were not my favorite - some kind of tough eggplant, zucchini, and mushrooms. I wish it was cheesier. It did the trick for a quick snack and service was generally okay, although it was pretty busy by the time we left and had to ask for our bill twice. Overall the prices and quality don't really match up here, but you're pretty limited so it was basically our only option. The decor is cute and very Palm Springs-y. read more

Check cameras from 4pm to 4:30 and check both of these workers on the phone, leaning and chillin. I pointed out the sign on the wall and said "who put this up?" Response "haha boss isnt here..." The vibe of the restaurant is something I would expect from Palm Springs and it was nicely decorated. Our food was good. Looked like a restaurant/bar but at least for breakfast it was a (confusing) walk counter to order. Breakfast sandwich was nearly $20, and you could have gotten one for about half that at the coffee/latte place near the security exit. Just one person on service, and it took me a minute to figure out how to navigate this. Didn't feel clean, but not a pig sty. Maybe it's better later in the day, but for breakfast definitely beware. read more

I attempted to order to go and after standing in front of the cash register without being acknowledged for 10 minutes I was charged $15 for a grease soaked sandwich and the worst smallest cup of coffee. I was then asked to wait outside because the seats inside were for paying customers. There was no system to verify to go orders other than shouting a noun into the terminal. Service was terrible. We sat down and it took us 15 minutes to have a server get to us and it was empty. Then we asked for waters, a ginger ale and a sprite. That took another 15 minutes. Then the sprite and ginger ale weren't even that carbonated. I had breakfast here today. It just reopened. The decor and cleanliness was great. The service needs help. There were not enough workers out front and the Hispanic gentleman did not rise to the occasion of people stacking up. He could have acknowledged people, said he will be right with them. I watched several folks walk out. A second person arrived for work at 7:50 am which was when I was leaving. It was taking 10-15 min for food to come out of kitchen. Breakfast potatoes were barely warm. I want this restaurant to succeed and it can but it needs more staff out front and a supervisor or manager to help run/manage it. Service was good Julie took care of me. Had the bacon and egg served on a brioche bun with a cup of coffee. At first I was concerned there was no Starbucks or Peets Coffee in sight. I was headed to PSP Coffee when I found Nine Cities tucked in the corner in front of the exit. I was able to find a seat easily and the food and coffee was served promptly. Regarding the food quality it was pretty good I am unsure why this place gets such a bad rap. I glanced at the rating after sitting down but I did not bother to read any of the reviews because there are limited food options at this airport. I am glad I didn't and I wanted to try and balance it out a bit to take the time and write a good review which matches my experience. Everything was clean and prepared properly and the service was polite and professional. I would eat here again without a doubt. read more

Check your receipt! I was there on Thursday, April 10, service was not great. We were a party of three. I ordered an Arnold Palmer and was told they only had raspberry iced tea which I declined. Later she brought an "Arnold Palmer" which was raspberry iced tea. Due to the amount of people I overlooked it and went on with the meal. We asked her to split the check evenly three ways. She made me choose a tip as she split it, not allowing the other two parties to do so. I proceeded giving her 18% on each receipt which should have totaled just over $30 for each of us with the tip. Two days later my credit card was charged $56. Thankfully I still had the receipts and saw that she charged me a $20 flatbread on top of what I had ordered. The other two parties receipts were fine, just mine was charged an extra $20 plus 18%, totaling $56. It was all done very quickly and in a crowded space. I quickly glanced and saw the others were charged $30 and didn't give it another thought. Unfortunately getting a hold of them to correct this has been difficult.
