Arrived at 11:20am. We are on our way out going home. Had an hour and 10 minutes before boarding. The staff greeted us promptly and everyone was friendly. Ordered the smoked turkey sandwich. It was tasty. Service was quick. Even the bar tender helped with the food service. Ours was a nice experience.

Tell me you don't want customers, without telling me you don't want customers... We had an hour before our flight and looked at all of the food options from sit down to grab-and-go at PSP. Nine Cities Craft is the only restaurant down the Agua Caliente Concourse and looks cute with a modern vibe and indoor and patio seating. No hours posted, but apparently the are open from 4:30 a.m. until the last flight from Gates 12-20. We arrived around 4:00p and there were a handful of tables eating and drinking. The big issue here was service. There was one employee who initially seated us and brought menus, then couldn't be bothered, even when we were attempting to flag her down. After a long wait, another server came ("because I'm helping her out") and took our order and the food came rather quickly. We were happy with our meals, the Grilled Chicken Club and Grilled Salmon Sandwich. We both chose chips and not the other side option coleslaw. Two groups arrived after us. The first was told it was past last call for food, but the bar was still open. They had trouble choosing a beer, since many choices were already out. Another party arrived after them and was given the option to order food. Just a strange situation of inconsistent service and menu offerings. If we were at the airport at a different time, I would hope everything would be running smoothly. But, if it is time for you to close, just put out a sign and save everyone (customer and staff) the hassle.

I'm trying not to be particularly rude, but this was almost $20. The fyre festival of breakfast food. The egg sandwich was hot - likely fresh from a flash heater, the hash brown was still frozen in the center. And the three pieces of arugula were slimy. The server was nice - but the food quality is terrible. For an "international airport" we need better food service!

Dining options at PSP were pretty limited when I was there in September 2024 as it seemed like there was a lot of construction/reorganizing going on, so my friend and I went to Nine Cities to relax and wait for our flights. The space is a bit small but we were seated right away. There isn't a ton of room for large luggage, but our server helped us arrange our bags so they were (sort of) out of the way. The menu is small and has some breakfast options, snacks, drinks, etc. We started with chips and guacamole, which was a pretty comical portion for the price. It seemed fresh at least. We ended up hanging out here for quite a while so I got a veggie flatbread later on. It was just okay. It was fully cooked and the crust wasn't soggy, but the veggies were not my favorite - some kind of tough eggplant, zucchini, and mushrooms. I wish it was cheesier. It did the trick for a quick snack and service was generally okay, although it was pretty busy by the time we left and had to ask for our bill twice. Overall the prices and quality don't really match up here, but you're pretty limited so it was basically our only option. The decor is cute and very Palm Springs-y.

Ordered the grilled chicken club sandwich and a Diet Pepsi. Our server brought the food out quick and was happy to give us refills on water regularly. The vibe of the restaurant is something I would expect from Palm Springs and it was nicely decorated. Our food was good. If you are at this airport I recommend the grilled chicken club sandwich!

The only option in this area of the airport. Pretty decent breakfast sandwich and coffee.

The vast selections of sweets is outstanding and very delicious. And then there's the food. Your traditional Jewish deli. The food has alway been great for both breakfast and lunch. We've never been for dinner but I'm sure if lunch is great, it should be as well. Stopped by after a hike for lunch which wasn't that busy as it was Thursday. Majority of the people were dining inside as it was still pretty hot. They were only utilizing the front part of the patio the time we walked in. Service was great with our waitress. Didn't get her name but she was a doll. We both just wanted a sandwich which they do have a very good selection. As alway, pickles and sauerkraut was brought to the table. It's a classic. Sandwiches, we had the pastrami with fries (like chips) which is an addition fee as it tends to come with coleslaw or potatoes salad. And the tuna sandwich with coleslaw. Both are pretty decent in size and stuffed with meat. Pastrami was quite tasty and juicy. Only downfall, it's literally just meat and bread. You add the extras yourself, ie mustard or pickles. The tuna sandwich, with lettuce, tomatoes and red onion was quite tasty as well. The food has always been tasty and great. Portion wise are pretty big so there tends to be leftovers for a lot of people. Breakfast is a must as it's alway busy especially during the weekend. So being from Los Angeles, where, when I was growing up, we had a fantastic Jewish delis, the idea of hitting up a place that is still around that still sells the food that I knew in love was too attractive to pass up. To say that Sherman's was a disappointment would be a massive understatement. The egg salad and chopped liver sandwich was pretty bad. First there was barely any egg salad on the sandwich at all. And the chopped liver was Bland and had a really bad consistency. You'd be better off ordering Nationwide delivery from Russ and Daughters. The matzoh ball soup with chicken and noodles was equally bland tasteless. Not to mention the fact that the matzo ball was curiously hard for should be velvety soft. The service was fine, getting my orders wrong multiple times. First, they brought me the matzoh ball soup with no noodles. Then they brought me a pastrami sandwich, even though I ordered egg salad and chopped liver. Sherman has the veneer of an old school Jewish deli with without any of the quality food. Whatever nostalgia I might've had was decimated once I started eating.

Kings Highway at the Ace Hotel does an excellent job of making you feel like royalty, which is important, because the menu prices certainly expect you to feel that way. But let's be honest, it's still a hotel restaurant. And hotel restaurants in premium destinations, like Palm Springs, rarely cater to travelers with beer budgets with champagne tastes. You're paying for the location, the atmosphere, and here specifically the mythology wrapped around this property as much as the meal itself. For this isn't just any hotel, this is the Ace Hotel. It is practically sacred ground for the hipster pilgrimage. Its OG ground zero for the influencer backdrop. In many ways, its trajectory mirrors what happened to Coachella or Burning Man: once an affordable, quirky alternative experience, now polished into a premium-priced cultural institution. Still, despite a few noticeable cracks in the armor, there's a lot to like here. First, the food. The meatloaf was soft, juicy, and flavorful. It's comfort food without becoming pretentious. The carrots were cooked perfectly. Those were tender, but still with enough firmness to remind you they were once vegetables. The mashed potatoes were exactly what mashed potatoes should be comforting and neutral. A great backdrop to the main. While scanning the fine details of the menu, there's a small line buried almost in fine print atop the dinner selection offering a glass of wine or beer with your entrée for an additional $8. As silly as it sounds, that qualifies as a bargain. Then came dessert - a warm sticky toffee date cake topped with vanilla ice cream, candied pecans, and caramel drizzle. Spectacular!!! I was lucky because it wasn't even on the menu yet, but I won it during on a game of BINGO. And BINGO night itself was pretty darn entertaining. Norma Lee High and Ms. Cherry Superstar kept the entire room moving with sharp narration, quick banter, and infectious energy. Their chemistry carried the night and gave the restaurant an atmosphere that felt more like dinner theater than simple dining. It's not filthy, adult, or aggressive, but for whatever reason its just not designed for everyone. There are references younger guests miss. If you proudly voted for Marco Rubio or Ted Cruz, Tuesday night at Kings Highway may not be your scene. Now with all that said, some issues did appear, but none of these were devastating individually, but collectively enough to dull the shine a bit. For starters, the public-facing information for the restaurant desperately needs attention. The online BINGO times are incorrect, some listings still reference 2025 dates, the start and end times are wrong, and the online menu doesn't match the physical menu they hand you at the table. And one menu item stretched the truth. The ribs advertised "homemade BBQ sauce," yet sitting behind the counter was a commercial sauce bottle bought in bulk. It's a small detail, but details matter when you're charging premium prices. Then there are the sticky counters. Strangely enough, this isn't a cleanliness issue. The counter itself were clean. The tackiness likely comes from years of commercial sanitizers slowly breaking down the varnish, leaving behind a sticky film that some might mistake as something other than clean. In reality, it probably means they wipe the counters down constantly. They just haven't refinished the surface in a very long time. So the issue is upkeep. Speaking of upkeep, there is a 5% dine-in surcharge. A surcharge that does not go to the staff feels less like hospitality and more like naked profiteering. At least if the cost were simply built into the menu prices, the service staff would likely benefit from increased tip percentages alongside the restaurant itself. Additionally, when the bill is presented it's by the handheld computer that never leaves the servers hand. There's no physical copy. There's no chance to review and calculate. It's an under the gun sort of thing. I don't have those anxieties, but others may. I do enjoy a more leisurely approach to settling the bill because it is all part of the dining experience. All these financials as presented, leaves a sour final impression after an otherwise genuinely good dining experience and entertaining night. Lastly, and this is more about Palm Springs as a whole than Kings Highway specifically, I hope the city avoids falling into the same trap Vegas did years ago when the experience starts getting overshadowed by the price tag. Because once that happens, people stop talking about the atmosphere, the food, or whatever. They only talk about what everything cost. Still, Kings Highway succeeds where many hotel restaurants fail in that at least on Tuesday nights it gives you a memorable evening. Maybe not a perfect one, but definitely one you'll talk about afterward.

The everything bagel was perfectly acceptable, not too "bready." So: service good, pastrami good, and bagel good. Everything good about a deli is covered.

The avocado toast with over-easy eggs was absolutely bomb--fresh ingredients and perfectly cooked eggs. The star of the meal was the chicken, bacon, and waffles. I swapped out the potatoes, and the gravy was incredible. Add a little hot sauce and it was the perfect bite. Service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was awesome. Even in the middle of summer, the patio was comfortable with plenty of fans and misters keeping everyone cool. If you're in the area and looking for a great brunch spot, The FARM is absolutely worth checking out. I'd gladly wait again for a meal like that!

A nice little brunch spot in downtown Palm Springs. They have outdoor patio seating, but our party…read moresat inside and enjoyed the ambiance. Reminded me of being inside someone's home. The service was great and friendly, and willing to seat us even an hour before closing their lunch hours and giving us lots of time and patience and never let our waters get low either! Their coffee is french press, and they offer fresh pressed juices too. They brought the french press pot to the table so you could press and refill your own cup as needed. We got grapefruit & watermelon, and both were refreshing and cooling. We ordered the avocado toast, the breakfast croissant, the breakfast sandwich, and the salmon crepe. Everyone really enjoyed their food. I found the salmon crepe to be really delicious, served with a jammy egg, a generously sized portion of salmon on a bed of spinach with some creme fraiche all wrapped in a delicious crepe wrap. I've never had anything quite like it. Also major compliments to the simple but refreshing side salad that came with each of our breakfasts, but we were also given the option of potatoes or mixed berries. Would recommend highly to anyone in the area looking for a good spot to have brunch.

The Heyday is definitely on the smaller side, but makes up for it in ambience. It's just a super chill environment filled with comfortable booths. The service was really great here. Our waiter was super helpful and literally everyone working here came to check and make sure our food was okay and if we needed anything. I tried the martini and burger special and it was absolutely delicious. The meat is cooked perfectly and my martini was refreshing . My husband had the western bacon cheeseburger. He thought it was good, he just wasn't a fan of the amount of sauce on it. We then split the late night fries and the onion rings, both were absolutely to die for. I would definitely recommend eating the late fries right when they come out, since they come sauced they do loose their crisp! Definitely will be dropping by again the next time we are in Palm Springs!
