    Massamun Curry with chicken

One of my favorite spots in Corning when I visit! Their food is flavorful and satisfying. I always get the massumun curry with some extra spice which I highly recommend. The chicken is great in the curry and the tofu is a little soft for my preference. Great gluten free and vegan options on the menu. Their bubble teas are super refreshing on a hot day. The ambiance of the restaurant is great - intricate decorations that are calming and pleasant. The service is top notch with refills and promptness. Very detail orientated and it makes a difference!

Delicious Thai food right in downtown Corning! I was visiting the area with my husband and stopped in on a Friday night, easily was seated and had excellent service. I had my go to Thai order, the green curry. Beware of the spice levels!! I wanted a little spice so I ordered the medium but it was super spicy! It had me crying but it was flavorful and filling. Definitely go with mild if you can't hand spicy. My husband had the medium spicy pad Thai which wasn't as spicy as the curry. I also had the rose Thai tea which was unique but very floral.

What a wonderful Thai restaurant. We walked in and asked for their most spicy level of food. The taste as well as the heat were on point. Even as an Indian I was satisfied with the heat (something I don't get in North America). But it wasn't just the heat but the taste that truly mattered. So much so that I went to eat here on back to back nights despite staying in Corning for only two nights. The staff were respectful and I liked the nice Asian restaurant atmosphere.

Nine Elephants possesses a vast menu with options ranging from typical Thai dishes (pad thai, drunken noodles, curry, Thai tea) to Cajun seafood options. It is very open, clean, and bright. -- Overall, the pad thai was a good portion and was pretty standard flavor-wise. Ordering a mild, I felt it was a comfortable spice level for me and anything higher would've been unenjoyable. So just a word of warning, although the spice level was not true "Thai level mild (which would be spicier)," it was still enough to give the dish a good kick. My friend ordered a medium and had to order a bubble tea to help with the spice! My pad thai was nothing to write home about and I do wish there was either more salt or sauce on the dish, but it was an excellent portion for one person and I finished the whole thing. The interior of the restaurant was very bright due to the windows and lights. It was very quiet. The decorations are a strange mix of very formal and pirate-adjacent nautical decor, which I felt didn't all match, but it was pretty fun. The interior is spacious and I can picture large celebrations/gatherings being held comfortably in the space. The service was slow at times as there was only one server when I dined there on Sunday. So, when they left to run to the kitchen for long periods of time, we were left waiting for their return. The food came out at a reasonable speed. We were happy with the quantity and price. If you're visiting the Corning area, Nine Elephants is a great option for an affordable, fast, and quiet meal. I'd recommend the lunch specials (if possible) for a good deal and ordering below your spice level, to be safe!

We were in town for work and looking for a good place to have dinner. We were a bit nervous after reading some Reviews that complained about poor service. Don't be!!! Everyone was friendly, inviting, and very attentive on a busy Friday night. The food looked delicious and tasted even better. We will be back next time we're in town.

this was some of the best thai food i've ever had. The pork penang curry combined with the beef pad thai was a beautiful combination that should not be had just once. The spice from the curry mixed w the rice noodles left a symphony in my head. Then ever so often crunching into the calamari that was dipped in a sweet and spicy sauce was the perfect cherry on top. The thai tea was super sweet and I loved it. 10000000% recommend to anyone to check out!

Before my date and I hit up the strip club, we ate here. He told me he never had Thai food before and that I'd pick out some options. "No pressure," he said. Pressure applied regardless. Keep in mind that we were accepted in 30 mins before closing so I had to choose FAST. I got the green curry, papaya salad, and seafood salad. Plus mango sticky rice to go (I love mango sticky rice, easily one of my top five fave desserts). Green curry was a lil more liquidy than I'm used to but the flavour was still there. The seafood salad had a good mix (some Thai places skimp or put too much of one thing, like chewy squid, so thankfully that wasn't here). And it's v hard to mess up papaya salad. If you come to Corning, this is a great spot to go to especially after a Museum of Glass visit (or a pregame meal for the strip club LOL)

Good authentic Cajun!…read more With so much to choose from in Ithaca NY, why would visitors look into a Cajun restaurant? Because we've found that this town is a foodie paradise, we love catfish, and we love love blackened catfish. We had Maxie's blackened catfish in a flavorful spicy deep-pink Creole sauce, with maple-braised (!) collard greens, black beans and rice. They were not fooling around. They know their true Cajun seasoning. The oysters at the next table looked great, too, but we had missed the happy hour special. Of course we added an appetizer of fried green tomatoes with a bright somewhat-spicy New Orleans version of remoulade. Any they didn't shortcut the sazerac either: they rinsed the glass with Pernod, and finished it with authentic Peychaud's bitters. Wonderful.

From the building and decor, to the drinks and decor, NOLA is everywhere on the menu and in the restaurant. We started with a State Street Hurricane (dark and light rum, passionfruit, and lime) and a Spicy Margarita, which were both great. We had a half dozen of both of their oyster selections (Malpeque from PEI and Spindrift from MA), which they serve with freshly shaved horseradish (a nice touch). Then we shared a Caesar salad, their fish fry, and their special of the night - pan-seared arctic char (with a creamy tomato sauce with capers, cheesy grits, and garlicy spinach). Everything was great. As usual, our eyes were bigger than our stomachs, and we couldn't eat everything we ordered. But the food was so good we ate most of our leftovers the next day for breakfast. The service was very good, and the vibes are great - it's comfortable, casual, and fun. We had a fun meal and some great food. I'd happily return.

While packing our leftovers, our server, Nathan, picked up one of the takeout bags. It was clearly leaking, but instead of immediately setting it back down on the plate or tray, he continued lifting and moving it. As a result, the bag gave way, spilling liquid everywhere. It covered the table, my daughter's cellphone, my other daughter's purses, and the surrounding area before the bag ultimately dropped onto the floor. I understand that accidents happen, and we would have been much more understanding if this had simply been an unavoidable mistake. However, Nathan could clearly see that the bag was leaking. Instead of setting it back down immediately to prevent a bigger mess, he continued moving it, which caused the bag to burst and spill everywhere. That is what made this situation so frustrating. Rather than handling the situation with urgency or concern, Nathan simply left the spilled bag on the floor, grabbed another bag from a nearby table, and continued packing the food. He apologized, but no one offered towels, extra napkins, assistance with cleaning up, or any type of compensation. We were left to clean the mess ourselves using the napkins already on the table. The only thing that was cleaned was the floor. An employee came over with a dirty mop and bucket and mopped around us while we were still trying to gather our belongings and clean ourselves up. Not once did anyone ask if my daughter was okay or show any real concern for the damage to her phone or our belongings. When my other daughter's purses were covered in the spilled food and liquid, the only thing Nathan offered was a rag and a bottle of Windex, which was completely inappropriate considering the situation. My daughter's phone is now displaying a liquid detection warning in the charging port and may need to be replaced because of the spill. Sadly, this isn't our first negative experience with Nathan. Every time we've had him as our server, he has had an attitude and wears an earbud throughout the entire meal, which comes across as unprofessional and inattentive. Since gratuity was automatically included, it honestly felt like there was little concern about providing quality customer service. We chose Aloha Krab to celebrate with our family, but instead we left frustrated and disappointed. We hope management takes this complaint seriously, addresses this incident appropriately, and reaches out regarding the damage to my daughter's phone. After this experience, we have decided that we will not be returning to Aloha Krab. What should have been a special family celebration turned into a frustrating and disappointing experience. We expected much better service and professionalism, especially after spending over $600. We hope management takes the necessary steps to ensure no other family has to experience what we did.

Having made reservations for 7:30pm, we arrived early and waited for our table to be ready. We made a note in our reservation for a booth on the fireplace side, and the woman (host) worked hard to make sure that happened. After sitting down, we placed in a couple appetizers. The bacon-wrapped scallops were delightful. The bacon, crispy and the scallops incredibly tender. Served with a side of drawn butter, but these were delicious on their own. As for the loaded potato puffs, we received a generous number of puffs, and each one was also very tasty. The sriracha ranch sour cream was the cherry on top. For mains, we opted in for the prime rib, and Delmonico "cowboy" cut. The prime rim was incredibly tender, juicy and perfectly seasoned. Served with a phenomenal au jus, this is the best prime rib I've ever had. I can confidently say that about the Delmonico steak as well. This 20 oz. center-cut, bone-in was grilled to the perfect requested medium-rare. Seasoned perfectly, tender and juicy. Although I didn't care much for the gorgonzola cheese sauce, the steak was amazing. We also ordered a side of lobster tail. This was also incredibly tender and really brought the meals together. To end all things, we ordered their creme brulee served in a chocolate shell. This was a great dessert, although I would have preferred the custard to be firmer, and less chocolate sauce overall. I found the generous amount of chocolate sauce on the bottom of the plate, and on top of the creme brulee, on top of the chocolate shell they're served in to be over the top. Nevertheless, we enjoyed this dessert. I want to point out, all the staff members including the owner was very kind and welcoming. From the initial host to our server Lauren, to her boss who came around to ask us how everything was, the staff are very hospitable. Add in a warm and cozy dining room area with a fireplace, this is easily a 10/10 experience for us. We will make it a point to revisit more often and not years in between.
