Great value. Large portions. Service was superfast. Off of Front street but plenty of parking. The chicken curry was awesome. Not a big fan of the garlic shrimp bevause they bread & fry the shrimp without perling it. But I've seen ither places do the same so maybe thats just hiw they do things on Maui.

#1 BBQ is a Local favorite, this is Local kine food brah!! The prices are better then average. House chow mein 9.45 delicious, nothing fancy just a mini foil pan made to order noodles. Chicken, shrimp, pork, in a proprietary flavor that reminds you that there is no place like home. The food will take a little bit as it is made to order so we wait because it is worth the wait ( like my wife says when I ask her why am I always waiting on her? Wife: because I am worth the wait) and this little meal is. My wife had the "wor won ton mein" apparently it's a soup that her grandfather would buy for her when she was younger. Very gracious in portion size. Love all the vegetables added to the soup. I would have given 5 but I hate the no back on the seating arrangements. You probably won't care but I do. Come on by its across the street from foodland and across the parking lot from Ace hardware. Plenty of parking and they do except Atm and credit cards

I'm so happy they are open late, since we stopped here recently during our trip to Maui. They offer Chinese and local food at a reasonable price. They also give you plenty of food. The container of our beef chow fun was packed. The beef was tender and the dish was flavorful. Heck, we had enough for some leftovers the next day. My son ordered the mochiko chicken and steak teriyaki too. The steak was a bit dry, but the mochiko chicken was good. They have tables outside, but we decided to take it back to our condo to enjoy. It was fairly crowded, so we weren't the only ones grabbing a late dinner.

My parents and I discovered this place after asking a local about where to eat on our last day in Hawaii. We were looking for something more local rather than the restaurants that tourists flood. This place did not disappoint. You know you've come to the right place when you see a bunch of locals lined up. The quantity was huge and we were not upset about it, we shared the three dishes we got and still had plenty left over. The food was tasty and fresh, and they had a large selection to choose from which had us wishing we'd come hear sooner to have been able to try other things. The food came out quick and we were able to get our own sauces to go as well

My family and I like this place as it has a expansive menu, and the food is good. We like the mochiko chicken, garlic shrimp, and chicken Katsu. I always get a little crunchy snack either the gau Gee or fried wontons. And I ask for the hot mustard to supplement the flavors.

Budget friendly! Great spot for people not looking to spend a lot on food, sooo good! Got the NY steak + garlic shrimp plate for under $15. Fried fish plate was under $9. It's on a strip mall, definitely more of a local place, workers were eating on their lunch break. Our total was $25, cheaper than buying poke at Safeway. The server is very polite and he showed us pictures of the food to choose from. Order by the window and then eat at the tables outside or take it to-go and eat by the beach. The views are of ACE hardware next door so don't expect seaside views, but can't go wrong with the price and taste! We'll be back tomorrow for more food!

No 1 is really hands down one of the best on Maui. Every time I go there, the food is soooo good!! Honey walnut shrimp is to die for, Panda Express could never top that. The garlic shrimp is so yummy and rbe Mochiko chicken is flavorful and cooked perfectly. The Mac salad is the best I've had and the crispy gaugee is nicely cooked! Whenever we go Lahaina, we always gotta eat here. Kinda pricey, but worth it honestly. The owners are super cute and nice. Support local!!

Restaurant opened promptly at 10am, guest slowly made their way in took us about 15min to place our order. Food: Apple Handheld Pie - size was about 3-4" long and 2" wide. Crust was okay somewhat flaky and fairly tender. Bake was a light golden color could have been baked a touch more. Apples were nice and chunky with sweet cinnamon sugar filling, good filling to crust ratio. Pie was covered in a confections sugar glaze which made it a bit sticky to eat, felt unnecessary for a handheld pie, overall okay. Service was quick order at the counter and staff packs your order, we grabbed our to go. Interior had about 15-20 tables l, self serve water and utensil station if you wanted to dine in. Overall seems like a convenient stop midway to Lahaina if you are looking for a sweet treat, wouldn't wait too long or go out of your way to visit but worth a try if you are in the area.

My husband and I had the carne asada arepa on our first visit, and today I tried the Pabellón Arepa with shredded beef, black beans, sweet plantains, and cheese. They also offer a house-made chimichurri that takes the flavor to another level. Let me just say--this place puts love into every dish they make. The portions are generous, the prices are very reasonable, and every visit was met with warm, friendly customer service. To finish our meal, my daughter and I shared the coconut and mango slushies, which are made with natural ingredients and were incredibly refreshing. As someone who is Hispanic and pretty picky when it comes to authentic Latin food, I can honestly say this exceeded my expectations. The food is authentic, fresh, and full of flavor. The restaurant also has a charming atmosphere with Venezuelan memorabilia that gives it a warm, welcoming vibe. If you're looking for high-quality Latin food made with care, do yourself a favor and stop by. You won't be disappointed! We will def be back at our next trip - didn't get to try the arepa with chicken, avocado and green salsa. Mahalo Miss Arepa!

The ambiance is laid back with the beach bar and grill. It has a beautiful view of the ocean with great sunsets. We usually eat in the dining room and one of my favorite meals was the Macadamia nut encrusted Opakapaka. Since Opakapaka is hard to come by these days, it is no longer on the menu. I want to take this occasion to write about the fantastic meal I had the other night. First, our server Michelle was really wonderful. She had a great sense of humor and made our dining experience all that more memorable. The daily fish special was Onaga and we had never had it. Michelle mentioned it's hard to come by and recommended it. The fish was amazing - very fresh, moist and very similar to Opakapaka. If you ever see if on the menu, get it. It will be a memorable experience. The fish was served on a bed of rice with a beurre blanc finish and fresh carrots. An amazing preparation. I would also recommend the Hula Pie for desert. However, our recent visit on a date night was far from satisfactory. We made a reservation on OpenTable, but the only available time was 8:45 PM. We arrived promptly at 8:40 PM and waited for 25 minutes before being seated at 9:05 PM. Our table was located at the far end, closest to the old Lahaina luau. Unfortunately, our waiter's demeanor was unfriendly, and we felt rushed, especially considering it was nearing the end of the evening. Despite the initial disappointment, we were eager to try the diverse Asian fusion menu. One dish that caught our attention was "Hapa Ramen," which I ordered due to my hapa heritage. Unfortunately, I gave it a 2/5 rating. The broth lacked flavor, appearing bland and lacking in taste. The noodles were also hard and thicker than usual. The pork was flavorless, and I personally make better ramen. The garlic noodles, recommended by the server, were hard, dry, and salty. (Rating: 3/5) The adobo ribs were satisfactory (Rating: 4/5). The white butterfish was soft, flaky, and delicious (Rating: 4/5). The sweet sake was enjoyable (Rating: 4/5). Overall, our experience at Star Noodle was disappointing. The customer service was subpar, and the quality of the food did not justify the high price. In hindsight, I would have preferred to dine at Joey's Kitchen. In conclusion, Star Noodle is not a restaurant I would recommend. I regret our visit and hope to avoid it in the future. So sad to end our trip on a bad review :(
