My friend has been wanting to try this place for a while and I was glad that we got to. Everything was so fresh and their homemade pizza and pasta all looked good. I can't wait to try more of their menu items.

It's not your St. Louis Pizza! It's really a tasty, stuffed vessel of delish! The pizza is basically a 10inch circular homemade panini topped and stuffed with farm fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Pastas are handmade, homemade and really nice. Reminiscent of coming from a villa off the Amari Coast. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Staff was friendly, and the spot is casual and comfy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] If you are looking for something a little different than Provel, this is the place to go and have some fresh burrata!

Lived walking distance from press for about a year now. I have procrastinating on paying a visit for too long! It did not disappoint. I love love love me some carbonara. Theirs is top tier, and quite inventive. First, some pillows gnocchis are latching onto the savory, salty carbonara sauce. A bit of grate ricotta(i think) and egg yolk garnish this bad boy. Tons of textures colliding so every bite is an adventure of flavor and love. They tout handmade pastas, and some stuffed pizzas. I want to try their pies, but I fear the ricotta gnocchi will have me in a chokehold for months to come! [[HIGHLIGHT]]No reservations, no pretense, just good food in a cozy spot![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Wow. Why this place isn't PACKED right now amazes me. Folks, this is THE REAL DEAL. Everything--and I mean EVERYTHING--was beyond phenomenal. We started with the Caprese salad, and it was the best that my husband has ever had , according to him. I was equally blown away by the freshness of the mozzarella and the perfect blend of flavors. We then had the Ozark Forest mushroom pizza and the bucatini pasta for our entrée. Both were perfection. Finished with the panna cotta, and it was to die for. Perfect balance of sweet, salty, and a texture that was silky smooth. Brian took excellent care of us. He was super attentive, helpful, and so kind.

I got Press to go and was blown away by the deliciousness of the Big Mac Pizza! The flavor is so perfect and so is the texture. I also got the olives and they were perfect. I think even people who don't like olives would like these. Could not have asked for a better meal. It's a little pricey, but it was the perfect comfort food.

Wow wow what an amazing pizza! Love that the style is different than so many other pizza places in stl. The Caesar salad, the drinks, definitely a place to try. I like that they have some seasonal options and am curious to come back and try the pasta. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Cute little place and luckily we came right before they got too busy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Wow!! The outside is very deceiving but the minute you walk through the big blue door you know you are in for a treat![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Staff were welcoming and explained everything perfectly. And the food, just wow! My husband won't stop talking about the garlic bread plus the pizza was full of flavor! Perfect for two people. In a sense, thankfully we don't live closer as this place is deliciously dangerous!

Another out of the park visit to press. I stopped here when a meeting got cancelled, and I was super hungry. It was a great, unexpected stop in my afternoon. I wanted to work at the bar which wasn't a problem. I sat and worked while I munched on a Big Mac pizza- truly an ideal Friday afternoon. I can't recommend Press enough. You must go!

We live right around the corner and this has been on my list for awhile but my husband just isn't usually a pizza guy. I FINALLY convinced him and omg. I'm sad it took us so long to try it! The bar is awesome and the location is very clean and simple. The service was great all night. I love the open kitchen so you can see everything going on. We hesitated about the draft cocktails and the price associated with them but they explained how the bartender hand mixes them and they are super high quality. I got the Wisconsin OF and it was amazing. Their wine and beer prices are super fair. Now the food. My only complaint is I didn't get to try pizza and pasta because the pizza was so filling! But it was phenomenal. We got the toasted ravioli and it truly tasted like a toasted ravioli. They LOAD them with toppings - meats, sauces, veggies. You get what you pay for and we will definitely be back to try some more options. I still want to try the pasta. So good, very casual. Great option for a Friday evening dinner. We'll have to grab happy hour here too!

So delicious and service from Brian was brilliant as well. I ordered the corn stuffed pizza and added bacon. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Lovely atmosphere as well in South City.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I don't review a lot and I'm not even finished eating, but I had to make sure you knew about this. Take a gander at the menu. I hear the pasta is great as well.

I'm giving five stars even though what l ordered was not my favorite. My husband is still raving about the dinner so l think it is just me. Drinks are pictured! For the table we ordered two pastas and a pizza. I want to continue to explore their pizza options. The menu is unique in its own way so read the ingredients and try out your favorite foods.

I opted for the bar. Later I did see other guests arrive that were not fancy either, so I felt better. You could be fancy and fit right in, though. Angela was my server at the bar and she was top notch! Giving me time to review the menu but also jumping in to answer questions. I wanted to try a drink and the cocktails look amazing so I will have to come back to try a couple, they had a list of Spirit Free and I went with the Stappi Spritz. It was bright and refreshing with a bit of bitter and I really enjoyed it. So many food options looked good, I took a bit to decide and then went with the Starter of Oeufs et Mayo and would go from there. When it arrived I felt it looked like a dish on a cooking competition show - it was so pretty. Angela indicated a great way to eat it was to get a scoop of everything and put it on the LF grilled bread and that is what I did! So very good! All the flavors went well together, the burst of salty goodness from the trout roe and the grilled bread, fantastic. Even with so many other Plates to try, I will have a hard time not ordering those jammy eggs again. Extras included Crispy Fingerling Potatoes fried with rosemary and served with romesco aioli, they were good and a large enough serving to share. The rosemary is definitely part of the dish but I ordered with the knowledge that I now like rosemary. I also wanted to try the Sage and Fennel Sausage, they were in patty form and the order came with 2 and they were large. It was decent, I wanted more sage and fennel for my taste. Angela set me up with go boxes so I could enjoy my meal again as leftovers! Great food, great service. Can't wait to go back again!

Overall, this feels like a great spot to stop for a couple glasses of wine and some snacks between plans. I could also see coming back and building a full meal by ordering a few different plates.
