It's been three weeks and the owner has never called me. I will never go to this salon ever again and will never recommend this salon to anyone. The second one in April I requested a good inch and a half off to bring back some health to my hair and for easier styling. She is a great stylist and listens to what you're looking to achieve. What made me return is her dedication to her craft and making sure you leave happy. She also provided a relaxing arm massage which was a special touch.

If I said something first, she would always interact back, but there would be moments where I would just be quiet and I felt sooo calm. Instead of the roller-set look I booked, hot tools and a large barrel curling iron were mainly used, which did not work well for the style I wanted. I even found myself helping/directing parts of the styling because things were clearly not turning out right. This appointment was especially important because I was getting ready for my son's graduation, so leaving unhappy was emotional for me. My hair honestly looked very similar to how I walked in, just styled differently in a way that didn't flatter my cut. For $50, I expected a better result. To be fair, the stylist did ask if there was anything else she could do, but by that point I did not want to continue putting more heat on my hair trying to fix it. I just wish the original service I booked had been executed better from the start. As a woman of color, I personally did not feel confident that the salon had enough experience working with my hair texture or the specific look I requested. I normally do not leave negative reviews, but I wanted to share my honest experience for anyone considering booking a similar service. When I got to my car my son looked at me and said it looks the same. I'm so unhappy I'm sad.
