Tokyo Roll (Deep-Fried) and shrimp tempura roll.
    Scott H.

I am really glad to see so many good reviews and I don't want to yuck anyone's yum. But I was not super pleased. The prices are quite high. I get that it's 2026 but over $30 for what I got was a little steep. The food is high quality. The rice is not too heavy and it's seasoned well. I saw a couple reviews about the rice falling apart and I can definitely see that. I got the Tokyo roll. All the Ingredients sounded good so I thought why not. The whole definitely ends up is than the sum of the parts. The bonito is a bit much and all I ended up tasting was bonito. The tempura roll was good. Quality shrimp. Just a little high a price for what I got. It's very possible I have been too loyal to my steadies which have a very good value. I could see myself coming back on someone else's dime or if I was feeling extra saucy.

First review of 2026! This sushi reminded me of an omakase that I had, the highlight for my wife and I was definitely the nigiri. I don't normally have striped bass but it sounded delicious tonight and thankfully it was! Light and refreshing! The seared salmon nigiri that my wife had was equally as delicious and it melted in your mouth. The dessert was comparable with just the right twinge of sweetness and bitterness. As for the two rolls we ordered both were savory and salty in the right ways and the soy sauce helped amplify the flavor. There was nothing for me to complain about taste wise, and the service was amicable with the right amount of ambiance they had two celebrations the night we visited and the staff was friendly and gracious towards their customers. Truthfully I feel pretentious when reviewing places but I can honestly say that this meal was immaculate and I would definitely drive the 20-30 minutes from our place in Portland to come and visit this place again!

    Mentaiko Cream Udon

Glad to see that we have an elevated sushi spot in this plaza. What got me curious to try from here more than their sushi was their mentaiko cream udon. We came on a Friday afternoon and it was packed. The service was prompt and we got to ordering right away. I of course ordered the Mentaiko Cream Udon. They did not skimp out on the mentaiko at all, it was perfectly spicy and creamy, what a delicious combo of flavors! I also tried some sushi that my husband ordered but wasn't quite impressed as I was by the udon.

We were recommended by friends to meet here for dinner and I was pleasantly surprised by our dining experience here. Pro tip: do call for reservations even if you don't think you need it because they are super popular and luckily our friends got us a table during dinner time on a Thursday and we didn't have to wait but plenty of people were coming in and out to eat here. Popular place for sure! The server ladies were welcoming but efficient trying to juggle between all the tables so at times it was hard to get their attention but they were very patient with us (4 adults with a toddler and a baby). I love that they give you a little "appetizer" plate with pickles, a tiny scoop of potato salad, and a few piece of edamame. I didn't get to photograph all the food because we were hungry but we absolutely loved the himachi roll, sunrise roll, salmon ceviche, salmon nigiri, smoked salmon and avocado, and spicy tuna rolls. I cannot recommend the vegetable tempura dish they came out super light and crispy jammed with so many veggies! The salmon teriyaki was just OK for me but it does come with miso soup and rice. While it is a little on the pricier side, I do think the quality matches the price tag and you are getting fresh and top of the line seafood here. Great for a date night, family dinner, or just exploring different things you might not find at other places (like the creamy udon!) We will definitely be back!

I've been wanting to try NOA sushi for a long time after hearing that they have very unique rolls. I've come a few times since my first, and I have always been VERY high on their Seared Salmon with Soy Sauce. That is my #1 recommendation. It's fatty, big, and melts in your mouth. They offer a variety of rolls and other dishes, but that dish takes the cake in my opinion. They have a very delicious Yuzu Sake that I recommend to compliment the meal. The rolls in my opinion were nothing crazy - they were good. The servers are very helpful and attentive. The place has generous amounts of seating but expect to wait for seats as this place is always busy! I would recommend: Chicken Karaage Seared Salmon with Soy Sauce

I came to Tigard in Oregon and had lunch alone at NOA. I chose nigiri (+$7) and tonkatsu from the lunch box.

I came to NOA for lunch for the first time. It is located in the market place of Murrayhill, on the left side of Safeway. There are plenty of free parking lots. The interior of the store has a simple and modern feel. The staff at the restaurant are pleasant and the service is good. The lunch menu is on the last page and is only available for the weekday. I recommend the lunch specials menu for lunch because it's affordable and you can eat it a la carte. The bento box comes with salad, rice, miso soup, tempura, pickles, and more. In addition, I could choose two main dishes, so I chose three nigiri (additional $6) and tonkatsu. As shown in the photo, I couldn't finish the lunch box, but I was satisfied. I would like to recommend sushi here because the quality of the nigiri was good.

Food/Drinks: 5/5 Wow - I was definitely not expecting this to be this good given its location. It is definitely am must eat. The Sashimi B Set is delicious! The lobster kaarage is a MUST TRY. The Iro Iro Roll was really good too. This is definitely going to be one of my new go to places. It is on the pricier side though. Service/Ambiance/Value: 4/5 Decent service. It gives off a family owned restaurant vibe. The interior aesthetics are nice too. Value is good/fair -- decently thick slices but still on the pricier side. Overall Comments: 5/5 Exceeded expectations. Will refer friends and definitely return.

Wow the food here is delicious and so fresh. The presentation is phenomenal and makes you feel like you're in quite upscale dining. Everything we had was tasty. The crispy rice was not greasy at all. The chirashi bowl felt so fresh and had a lot of variety, including uni! The creamy mentaiko udon was more liquidy than I thought it would be but it reminded me of clam chowder and was flavorful. The area is a little small as it is in a plaza with a Safeway. Yet, tables turned over quickly it seemed, and there was a good amount of parking because of its location.

My friend and I went here to spy on our friends date, we have never heard of this spot but I'm glad our friend went here for his date! We had yummy appetizers, and we both got the chicken & pork katsu! The salad that came with it was very yummy! The service was amazing and the workers were very sweet, we would definitely be back here again :)

Service is always great here. The fish quality is really good for the price as well and I love the presentation! Bonus points for the tasty free appetizers!

My new favorite restaurant in my neighborhood! My family has lived off of Teal Blvd since 1992. We've seen restaurants come and go, but were never really impressed until NOA sushi opened up. Quickly it has become everyone's favorite spot to dine at between my family. My family walked up without a reservation, but I would recommend securing one if you have a larger group as this place seems popular. I enjoyed the oysters and sashimi. The fish tasted fresh. We ordered our oysters with uni and it was sooooo good. I'm excited to come back and try out more menu items.

Noa Sushi is one of my favorite spots. Everything just has that extra something that elevates it above the standard. The service is great. I love that the food comes out hot-hot! The portions are very substantial too. The ambience is classy casual. It fits the vibe. I like this place a lot.

The price of the sushi was way over what it should be given the size of the rolls they serve. The fish they use is pretty good though.

Staff: got our orders. Food: I got their Tori Paitan with char siu for $14. The price was reasonable with the portion they give. The char siu was fatty and the egg was runny. It was piping hot and the soup base was not bad. I didn't feel thirsty afterwards. The noodles were cooked nicely. It is a little further away for me just to eat ramen and nothing was outstanding to me. In fact, I felt a little rushed and couldn't catch up with my friends because of the way the store was set up and few spots. We didn't want to keep chatting because that means other customers would have to wait. So, if you want to quickly eat some ramen, come here.

The one thing I didn't like about my last visit, a little bit of micromanagement coming out of the kitchen. In all fairness, a business owner should be critical of what's being plated and served. It's a reflection of the restaurant and the way they approach food. I do not want my food to be micromanaged, I want it to be finessed. This place is clean and traditional, but the bar is also set a little low on that traditional type of experience. This place is a comfortable eatery and not much more. The cultural takeaway is washed over by Ikea lables left on soy sauce bottles, a lack of attention to detail that easily transfers from the table settings to the delivery of food. It's a local spot but not a great date night spot. I was slightly disappointed with the overall presentation and quality. For instance, what a large plate of sashimi or nigiri is brought to the table, there is no explanation and the patron is left to wonder what some pieces might be. I've always nice when the server points out my favorite pieces and maybe something I didn't know about on my plate. The pieces of fish on the nigiri were massive. Let's remember that quantity over quality is not typically what you're looking for in a dining experience.

My husband said he wanted Bossam, but hilariously, he changed his mind after seeing the menu and didn't even order it. He ended up getting the Spicy Jokbal, which I was feeling a little skeptical about (pig feet!), but after one bite, I was hooked. Really flavorful and quite spicy. There is a bit of fat/skin, but we just ate around it, although I knowsome people would be put off by that sort of thing. When asked if it was any good, our server's eyes lit up and she said yes, it is one of her favorites. She did also confirm that we liked spicy food, which was good, because it definitely had some heat. Other items we ordered: Jjinmandu - Can't go wrong with dumplings! Kimchi Jiggae - My favorite Korean soup and they put a nice amount of pork in it. It was bubbling for at least a full minute before it calmed down. Impressive. Beef Bulgogi - A classic and well made here. Sweet and savory. And of course they had a nice selection of Banchan, to round out the meal. Our server even noticed which ones we liked the best and brought out an extra tray for us. We brought home a lot of leftovers because we always over-order, but I'm not mad about it.
