Dinner at Noah's after getting off the ferry on a Friday evening around 7pm. It was fairly crowded, but we were able to beat the rush and get a table inside on a cold September evening. We ordered 3 tastes for $16 and 5 small plates. Our waitress said this was the perfect amount; however, the tastes were way bigger than expected so we probably only needed 4 small plates (and we were really hungry and still got super full from the first four). We did the hummus, crab deviled eggs and pate for our tastes. All of these were delicious! The pate had honey on it which really complemented the flavor very well. We then ordered the burrata tomato salad, prawns, mussels, short rib, and fried calamari. The burrata was pretty average but the tomatoes were super fresh. The fried calamari was extremely heavy, but great and not too greasy. It was a bit off putting that there were fried lemon pieces in the calamari...never had that before and would rather squeeze lemon on top vs eat fried slices whole. The mussels were absolutely to die for; the flavor was amazing and we dunked all the bread we could find in it. The prawns were very below average; they had a funky taste and here wasn't much meat in them for the price. Lastly, the short rib with polenta was fantastic but we could enjoy it as much as we would have at the beginning of the meal because we were just so full! I would respect if the waitress told us in advance how much we were ordering, especially when we asked if it was a good amount. She led us into overordering for sure. The negative reviews here aren't resonating with me. I had a great lunch here, and it was the perfect meal after driving and walking around Greenport. I would definitely return the next time I'm in Greenport. The biggest surprise were the grilled sardines, which were buttery and served on mini toast like bruschetta, and surprising good because the sardine was actually a cut of a larger fish than a run-of-the-mill canned sardine. It's something I would have never thought to order, but I'm so glad we did! Their New England Clam Chowder was also very good, which is surprising because New England Clam Chowder usually never sticks out. It had a good flavor, and the clams were fresh and plentiful. The Lobster Mac and Cheese was also great, served in a mini casserole dish and toasty on top, with tasty lobster meat and cavatappi pasta. But really, it's hard to go wrong with Lobster Mac and Cheese. We also got mussels, oysters, and deviled eggs topped with juicy lumps of crab meat. We tried a variety of small plates as everything looked so interesting. The best part of the meal was the food was not over anything'd. The Filet sliders were perfectly medium rare. The roasted garlic wasn't overcooked. The stuffed squash blossoms, perfect. The striped bass, well again, perfect. 4 of us ate dinner at Noah's last night. What a disappointment! We started with the fillet mignon sliders which were fair, not as tender as we would have liked. 3 of us ordered the lobster roll. We found the lobster chewy and rather bland. 1 of us ordered a special- Herb Crusted Rack of Lamb. It was ordered to be cooked medium. It was barely warm when it was served. Upon advising our waitress, she immediately removed the entree and the manager came over to our table. She asked if we wanted it cooked medium well so that it would come out hot. If we ordered it medium, it would come out the same way. That makes no sense at all. Shouldn't meat cooked medium come out of the kitchen hot? We will not be returning. read more

On- or off-season Noah's always has tables full. Having just enjoyed dinner there, I understand why... Their small plates, ambiance and service are top notch!! First off cocktails: I selected the greentini (green tea vodka, mint, lime and Meyers lemon). Sublime!!! The rest of the table shared a bottle of Lieb's Pinot Blanc. Some of the wines were expensive, but this one was 'just right.' For dinner, we shared a number of small plates and clams on the half shell. Stand outs include the summer strawberry arugula salad with walnuts, the roasted mushrooms, the Kobe sliders, and crab taco... Mmmmm. Our waiter was also incredible! Perceptive and attentive, I felt well cared for and valued as a guest at the restaurant. One thing.... If you value quantity over quality, this might not be the place for you. We did not order main courses as we love lots of bites of delicious things. Noah's was perfect! Compliments to the chef!!! Would absolutely give this place 10 stars if I could. Came here on a Friday night with a baby stroller. I would like to start with how accommodating the restaurant was they put us at a table for 4 so we had ample room to spread out. Now on to the food and drinks. My drink was STRONG and I'm a big drinker so go you bartender. The food was amazing, we did small plates. We had Hummus, Octopus, red crap tacos, filet mignon sliders and duck wings. Everything was delicious I couldn't tell u my top ones because I loved everything so much. The duck wings and the sliders are a MUST order if u come here. I have been coming here for years. Since they opened. I had to ask if there was a new owner. What does that say? They couldn't find my reservations. That should have been my first warning. Service was horrible. They were to busy talking and gossiping with people they knew at the tables. They served a salad that was not even ready to be presented to a table. It was missing 2 i ingredients. The garnishes on our dishes were all wilted and dried out. The veggie risotto was bland and mushy like porridge. We had to ask for salt and pepper. I spent a weekend out east and ate at Noah's twice. Once for brunch and once for dinner. I work in the service industry and they have some of the most helpful, friendly, and polite bartenders and servers. The mussels were AMAZING! Soooo flavorful and fresh, I could eat them everyday! I am not a fan of key lime pie, but our waitress gave us one on the house and I devoured it! This is definitely a spot to check out if your vacationing in the area. read more

After strolling around the town of Greenport for a few hours on a lovely warm day, we came to Noah's Restaurant. Hungry, we quickly scanned the menu outside and saw lots of tasty sounding offerings plus the outdoor seating looked quite inviting. An excellent waiter appeared immediately, showed us to a comfortable table and brought a big carafe of cool water. In addition to a full menu, Noah's also offers a selection of "tastes" - little tid-bits for the table. We chose the beer and bacon glazed almonds which were the perfect blend of slightly sweet, slightly salty and with a little extra tang. We then moved on to salads of roasted beets with grapefruit, avocados and cashews. The idea of grapefruit with beets sounded a bit strange but the Culinary Institute of America serves their beet salad with orange segments and that pairing works so we figured this was worth a try. Our original concern, however, proved correct and these flavors don't work together. The cashews were nicely roasted and very flavorful but the rest of the salad was barely dressed or seasoned and we found ourselves adding lots of salt and pepper to try to bring out some flavor. Definitely a miss! We fared much better with entrees, however. The pulled duck bar-b-que over smoked cheddar polenta, although slightly small for an entree, was completely delicious. And a kobe beef burger with cheese, bacon, assorted pickled vegetables and crispy fries was absolutely perfect. The disappointing salad notwithstanding, Noah's gets high marks for most of it's food as well as the service and relaxing atmosphere. We'd go back there...although we'd have to have a chat with the chef about those beets. read more

Noah's is a place where if youre in Greenport, you should probably not miss. The food is straight forward damn good. The menu selection satisfies the vegetarian and the carnivore. The duck liver patte, roasted garlic, and the olives is how we started. Moving to the teriyaki tofu skewers and octopus. The French fries and roasted buttnut squash were excellent. To finish off, the chocolate cake with vanilla ice was decidan. A great meal and not a wallet buster. read more

Took a drive out from the city to greenport and we got there late in the afternoon. We were all in need of coffee, but the coffee shops had already closed. The ladies at Noah's were so accommodating! We ended up enjoying cappuccinos and their chocolate flourless cake. The cappuccinos and house coffee were fantastic! Great coffee! But the star was the chocolate flourless cake. The absolute best cake I've ever had. It was so rich and had a deep chocolate/fudge taste. If I can only eat one thing for the rest of my life, this cake would be it. read more

From farm-to-fork, this cute, quaint and upbeat spot was not a disappointment despite all the mixed reviews. They have a wide selection of local award-winning wines, plus craft beer. Service was great from the moment we made reservations and dinner was not disappointing. The portions are a bit on the small side; however, we were satisfied (it is considered a "fine dining" restaurant, so hence the smaller portions). The night we went it was "restaurant week", so we were able to enjoy a starter, entree and dessert at a reasonable price. As a starter, we had the butternut squash soup, which was delectable and a salad. Our main course was the scallop special and pork chop coupled with sweetened, sautéed peaches and quiche. For dessert, we had the creme brûlée and chocolate lava cake. Everything we ordered met our expectations! If you are ever in the area, Noah's is worth a visit. *Note: There is a "Noah's On The Road" that we spotted while visiting Martha Clara Vineyards. We had the opportunity to dine at this establishment to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Open Table'd the reservations for a Saturday evening at 7 pm with special requests. The staff fulfilled each one perfectly. The venue is upbeat and trendy, with the background music reflecting the modern twist, interpretation and presentation of locally obtained foods. Atmosphere is subdued and chic, offering secluded seating or outdoor café style, allowing those diners to experience the energy of the vibrant Northport street scene or romantic intimacy, whichever is desired. The Goods: Drinks were phenomenal. I enjoyed a classic margarita - agave tequila, lime juice with a half salted rim. My wife enjoyed a Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc. For "starters" we shared the local grilled corn with aioli along with an arugula salad. Corn was superb, with the only recommendation I could make would be have it served a bit warmer. The salad was awesome, the local greens tasty and fresh, dressed to perfection. My main was the seared scallops with ratatouille. The scallops were perfectly seared, crunchy exterior with succulent soft mouth and taste. The bed of Ratatouille was done to perfection, albeit a bit on the cool side; could have been warmer. My wife's main was the steak special (Hanger) with au gratin potatoes. Steak done to perfection and the potato au gratin firm, not overly creamy and delicious. We shared a trio of crème brulee for dessert - offering an exclamation point for this superb meal. The staff, Surita (earlier in the day we stopped to reconfigure seating), Svetlana and (I think) Noah himself (met us at the door at seven) as well as the pleasant woman who brought us our sparkling wine were all "on point" and delivered a sublime dining experience. We highly recommend Noah's as an excellent venue to experience a professionally prepared dining experience in a superb locale. read more

My first impression of this restaurant was when seeing it from outdoors, it was clear that this is one of the nicer restaurants in Greenport. It is classy and modern at the same time, with clean lines and a relaxing vibe that tries to emulate the feeling of looking at the waterfront. Came here several months ago for a friend's bachelorrette party dinner. We had a private room reserved in the back of the restaurant and a special 3-course menu so our experience was a little different than a typical dinning experience here. The menu was as following: Choose from appetizer: Maine Style Lobster Rolls (Warm Lobster, Garlic Parsley Butter, Shaved Fennel), Satur Butter Lettuce (Shaved Spring Vegetables, Goat Cheese, Herb Vinaigrette) and 100% Lump Crab Cake (Avocado, Citrus, Watercress, Chive Oil) Main: Spring Vegetable Risotto (English Peas, Sep's Asparagus, Fava Beanm Sweet Pea Puree), Pan Roasted Atlantic Halibut (Spring Veggies, Local Pea Tendrils, Sweet Pea Puree) and Kobe Beef Burger (Blue Duck Brioche Bun, French Fries, House Made Pickles) Dessert: Warm Flourless Chocolate Cake (Dulche De Leche, Vanilla Ice Cream), Bag of Beignets (Powdered Sugar, Salted Caramel Sauce) and Joe and Liza's Ice Cream and Sarbets (Locally Produced in Sag Harbor) They have accommodated my non-meat eating restrictions in advance with this menu, which I appreciate. I went with the Satur Butter Lettuce for appetizer, the Spring Vegetable Risotto for main and the Warm Flourless Chocolate Cake for dessert. Everything was excellent, with the appetizer and dessert being the standout dishes. All my table-mates loved their dishes as well. The Bag of Beignets was perhaps the least successful item as the powder ended up everywhere. The service itself was very professional and accommodating. Perhaps it was because we had a large private area blocked for us, yet I felt like we didn't have to rush through the meal at all and could truly enjoy it. Although this place normally offers a limited menu for vegetarians, vegans and to some extent pescetarians, I'd definitely recommend it to those with less food averseness. read more

Nothing but good things to say... I asked for a vodka martini with blue cheese olives, which they didn't have, and even though I was happy to take an alternative, Sunita, the manager hooked it up. Poor experience , food was nothing special to write about , plates came dirty on the sides. Which is not what you'd expect of a good restaurant. When we came in there was food and plates still sitting outside on so many tables where people have got up - no restaurant that respects themselves leaves leftover on the tables after a table has got up. The waitress then came with a huge pick up box and just threw everything inside ---- again , okay for a mcdonalds not for a restaurant that respects itself in front of customers. Service was absolutely horrible took so long to get water , order, and not to mention the food that didnt come how we ordered. Not recommending or coming back here. read more

Stopped in a Friday for lunch. Beautiful restaurant located in downtown Greenport, a quaint North Fork town. Loved the atmosphere of the place. Beautiful prints on the walls, high ceilings and white table cloths. Large bar in the center of the restaurant where you could sit and enjoy a drink. We enjoyed the fish tacos and artichokes to start. I had the salmon burger and my husband tried the lobster roll. Both dishes were freshly prepared and elegantly plated. Service was friendly and prompt. Would definitely go again. This is a place that is like the North Fork, not fussy but elegant. read more

I have been to Noah's since they opened and stopped going due to poor service. I recently purchased a groupon and was pleasantly surprised. The service was excellent from the front desk to busboy. Very professional and pleasant. The waitress checked on us several times and we were not rushed. We had such a nice time i bought another groupon and our experience was just as good the second time around. The food has always been excellent and creative. Chef Noah gets some or most of his ingredients from local farms, ocean and local products. We had pulled duck from Crescent farms with polenta. I enjoy the Tastes portion of the menu as much or more than the other menu items. Duck liver mouse has a smooth creamy texture served with honey. Charissa spiced hummus is also excellent. Charissa is locally made and gives the hummus a nice kick. The deviled eggs are also very good. I even tried the whole roasted garlic clove. It's roasted with olive oil but does not have an overwhelming garlic flavor. The trick is getting the garlic out of its shell but its worth the effort. Under small plates the fried calamari is very good and includes various other fried vegetables including lemons. Under full plates I tried the short rib rigatoni. It was good but too much parsley for my taste. They just added skewers from the grill to the menu. It looks good. I think I'll try it next time. They do get incredibly busy during the summer so you need reservations. Even now it's starting to get busy so hurry up and give Noah a visit before the summer crowds take over. read more

Our families were blown away by the food, service and atmosphere while having a Rehearsal dinner at Noah's on June 16, 2917 We had great personalized attention from Laura managing director for our special evening. We are still hearing guests rave about the food from that evening 2 month ago. The service from the maitre d and other staff was exceptional, friendly and doting. Talent in the kitchen gets your attention in the hundred of little things that make a great meal. I ordered 5 things and it came it out in less then 10 minutes!! The place has cute greenery outside so it looks very aesthetically pleasing. The entire place smelled like urine, the service was slow, and everything seemed very overpriced. We all ordered the lobster roll ($27) - it was TINY and didn't really taste like anything. Beach town chic is how I'd describe the atmosphere at Noah's. On quaint main St in Greenport, it was a perfect way to start the first night of our North fork weekend. We shared the seafood platter and amazing duck leg entree. I could have used some drawn butter for the lobster and fewer clams but the seafood was fresh and tasty. We loved the crispy duck legs with hearty fava beans which hit the spot paired with rosemary gorgonzola fries to soak up the sauce. Once they heard I was celebrating my birthday the added a candle to my dessert of beignets. They were sweet and airy like they should be. Overall enjoyable dinner read more

I like to leave short reviews but will make this one a little longer. I saw way too many negative reviews of Noah's. My wife and I recently dined at Noah's again. I have no idea how people are bashing this restaurant. For perspective, and not to be obnoxious, but we dropped almost a grand at Robuchons. Only two of us and only a 100 dollar bottle. So, we have a fair understanding of what we are paying for at a restaurant. Even more, our cooking is on par or better then most restaurants. Noahs starts with a very well thought out menu, then rather successfully executes on dishes and flavor. Service has never been an issue for us there. We don't drive to restaurants ten minutes away,and yet happily drive an hour to celebrate our birthdays at noahs. The food is very good, the bar is awesome to eat at. FIVE well deserved stars. read more

Went here for Mother's Day and was very happily surprised. I know Mother's Day can be a tough holiday to get a good read on a restaurant, so the fact that we had such a great meal, shows how good this place is. We had absolutely wonderful food and miserable service. The dishes were tasty, full of flavor and well presented. The starters arrived after the salad course. When the salad was cleared, they took the knife and I had to get up and find another. Two other tables did likewise. I ordered another glass of wine, had to ask again 20 minutes later and got it when I was finished with the entre. The only thing served timely was the check. Came here for a Valentine's Day dinner with my boyfriend. My first impression was that it was a very classy place. They had great music on and even for pre-covid times, the tables were very well spaced out. I like to be adventurous with my meals so I ordered the Crescent Farm Duck BBQ, which was BBQ pulled duck over grits? or polenta? Whatever it was it was creamy and delicious. It was a great sized portion too. I ate everything and didn't feel disgustingly full. And that was in addition to the oysters and the crab cake, which was served beautifully.
