NoBar, is a Yes Bar for me! One of my favorite bars back in college. We used to pop into this place often. Especially after class from 2011 to 2013, and definitely after then until about 2019 on and off. It's still got the same vibe, but better, more updated - very cheers meets casual classy upgraded dive. The bar area is pretty wide open like a remember, cool digital jukebox to the right along with the restrooms when you walk all the way in as well as a room for billiards/pool and lounge for well lounging and a nice patio area with tons of seating and I believe some string lights, candles on tables, water dispenser and a mostly covered space. I didn't know the happy hour was sooo good here... I had three peanut butter whiskey (Bird Dog) and cokes for $16 which would've been less with cash versus a card - they offer discounts for cash! Fun Fact: You can download the AMI Music app to purchase credits/play songs via their jukebox - I turned on Cannons "Fire For You" to keep the good vibes strong while catching part of the game and enjoying the company of my friend Andrew. Michelle (pretty sure I'm right this time) was our bartender for the night and she was super cool, very mellow, amazing drinks and service rocking the coolest Matcha colored sweatshirt with the word Matcha on it. She's definitely got her regulars and she knows them well. They open at 5PM, but might keep the door locked for a little bit if super slow. You can always wave from the windows or knock. Usually if they see you coming they'll unlock for the rest of the night. Parking is street only however being off Magnolia a beat down from the Chandler Bike Path and a realistic walking distance from North Hollywood Station you have some good alternatives, including easy rideshare drop off or pick up. Check out the drink specials! Go "No" or go home!

I went to the bar yesterday at 5 PM. They have really great drinks. I really enjoy it. It is the best and the owner. Paul is also the best. He's very professional. He always says hi to me and their beers the cocktails, especially the flavored whiskey, which is peach the five dollar one it's very great and delicious. I really enjoy coming here. Thank you everyone and also the martini was very great and delicious. I really enjoyed everything

    Illegal tipping

Shady ass place I went here on 2/28. Blonde bartender with wavy/curly hair and looked in her 40's helped us probably around 10:30-11pm. Bought 3 drinks for me and two friends and put it on my card was handed just my card back and waited for the receipt. No receipted was given and bar tender went to help other people ignoring us. I had every intention on tipping on my receipt but wasn't given one and I decided I wasn't going to wait around any longer than I already did. I had no cash on me. I noticed a pending charge of $36.22. Two days later a charge went through for $43.02 Telling me that the bartender filled out the receipt and tipped herself $6.80. First off that's fucking shady and illegal it's called fraud. Secondly I had every intention of tipping but wasn't given the choice too. I wouldn't recommend this shady establishment to anyone and I've reported the unauthorized charge of $6.80 to my card company.

I dig the vibe here dark quiet and the drinks are surprisingly reasonably priced. It was relaxed tonight but it can be lively on other nights. A good place to enjoy a drink and meet some

    Good strong drinks

It's no bar that I would revisit, wasn't feeling the vibe and the bartender was nice tho. Idk and drinks are good priced but felt it was ok. Was here on a Saturday night but wasn't a lot of people. Ehhh also just felt a bit awkward Maybe w some friends

It's pretty classy, a good spot for locals, and the specials are pretty good. Great for a low key evening.

    Ask the Community - NoBAR

Could I have a birthday here with 10-20 people?

Yes. If you’d like to reserve an area for a gathering of friends, please call the bar. 8187530545

    How's parking around there?

Parking isn’t great. Street parking only and depending on whether or not the neighboring theatre is having class/performance, it can be limited. Ample parking in the neighborhood but you may have to hike a block or two.

Are you guys open now that we are in the Yellow Tier (05/06/21)?

We are currently open from 4pm-10pm every day. In the next week or two we will more than likely extend those hours until 2am.

    Is there hookah? How much?

    No hookah

Is there dancing or a DJ?

We have a DJ on the last Saturday of every month who spins classic hip hop/funk/soul/dance grooves

Why are there no doors in the bathroom?

    Both bathrooms definitely have doors.

What age do you have to be in order to go in?

    We’re strictly 21+

Are they serving the "Santa Monica 310" beer here?

Their long hours (early morning until 2am) mean there are a couple of shifts of staff per day, but I most often find Jodie behind the bar, and she's one of the nicest bartenders in town. Lighthearted and well-spoken, she can chat with anyone about almost anything, and she manages the crowd well. She's a good egg who's seen it all, but seems to treat every day like it's possible to get through without any problems. There's no food for sale here, but they're happy to have you bring or order in anything you like, and you'll often see people at the bar eating meals from the many local restaurants. There are 8 TV's mounted around the place (plenty for its size), so you can watch a game if you like, and the digital jukebox is easy to manage from an app on your phone. Plus, they've got solid, reliable WiFi, in case you're sick of sitting in Starbucks. Drinks are modestly priced and generously poured, and there's ample parking, both in the lot out back and on the un-metered street out front. This may not be the right place for a marriage proposal, but it's definitely the right place to hang out and cool off in the dog days of summer.
