Fresh fruit I subbed out for the hash browns

The food was delicious! The coffee was organic! They even make their own whipped cream! We will be returning again anytime we're in the area at breakfast time! Yum!!

We came here because my friend loves a restaurant that serves breakfast all day, because I eat vegan, and because they have a parking lot. My friend liked that you could choose any of their house made breads for her French toast, and went with carrot cake. I got the much raved about Almond Layer Cake (vegan pancakes, vegan vanilla cream filling, blueberries, strawberries, granola, vegan vanilla glaze, coconut whipped cream), a side of fruit, and a side of hashbrowns: - the pancakes were enormous, but... just okay. I didn't have any cream filling in mine. The blueberries seemed to be baked inside the batter. There were just a few granola bits. Overall, the whole thing was quite dry. And I'm unsure where the almond flavor was. - the fruit seemed a bit old, but still appreciated the mixture of berries and melon and pineapple. - the hashbrowns were so, so sadly undercooked (see photos) and not seasoned at all. If you're gonna order these, ask for them VERY WELL done, and maybe yours will have some of that crispy golden brown fry to them. - the iced latte (despite getting additional shots of espresso) was so sugary sweet, kinda like drinking cake; I wasn't able to take more than a few sips of it. While the food was mediocre, the hospitality was an 11/10. The host, our server (so patient! so friendly! so accommodating!), and several other staff checked in on us frequently. Another reviewer on another website had mentioned that they appreciated the lack of diner smell here. AGREED! You for sure won't leave smelling of grease.

If you want to have the best breakfast ever- then you found the right place! Every item on their menu is made out of fresh ingredients and tastes so good! You can find something to love even with gluten and dairy allergies! The cinnamon roll is to die for and the servers are so kind and helpful! The set up feels really homey and welcoming!

Came here for a brunch. Definitely a family friendly spot with a casual dining space. I thought the food was underwhelming. My sausages were too salty, my eggs were cooked over easy but basically were on the raw side. The avocado toast was fine. Wasn't worth taking anything as leftovers. My London Fog was great. Our server was lovely too. Overall, would probably pass on it.

    Breakfast Quesadilla

Excellent little gem. Fantastic banana bread French toast (they don't skimp on the portion and the bread is fresh!) and even better breakfast quesadillas. The only thing that I didn't quite like (it wasn't "bad" per se) was the waffle chicken sandwich. Chicken a little dry and the taste of the waffle tastes slightly off. To be fair, however, I had this delivered in and left the sandwich in the fridge and reheated later. Good pricing, expansive menu, and a nice little find. :)

they had me at "every griddle item can be ordered vegan" the pesto on the gardener's hash was so good. I added tofu scramble as well and it was a delicious meal. my partner ordered the vegan breakfast burrito which was also good. but the star of the show..... the almond layer cake. life changing. the cream in the middle and the granola on top was so good. we were in a food coma after this meal.

Vegan Breakfast Burrito & eggs with Farmer's Hash Browns

Nice little vegan options on the menu, which I truly appreciate! I had the breakfast burrito-- could have been filled up a little more and cooked more on the outside. It came to me all wet and a little soggy -- my hash browns were also way undercooked. The food overall tasted good-- would have given them a five if they would have prepared my food properly!

This is a cozy restaurant in a strip mall/plaza. The service was good. The restaurant was not busy (Monday morning). They offer a lot of healthy versions of traditional breakfasts but the food is overall bland. I had a brown sugar waffle and although it was the crispiest waffle I have ever had it had a gritty texture. The hash browns had no seasoning or flavor and were still cold. The kids meal did have a very large pancake and came with bacon and sausage. The other meal was okay but again not a lot of flavor. As far as pricing is higher in comparison to other breakfast places and they have a surcharge automatically applied on all bills apart from gratuity. The waffle did not come with any sides. The toppings are all extra. The eggs Benedict also did not come with any type of bread option. Overall the pricing seemed okay but you don't get sides included like you would at other breakfast places.

This place was so good! They have a variety of options whether you like breakfast food like me or if you want something else like a burger or salad. Bonus points for vegan options! Our server was lovely and gave great recommendations. I'm glad they have a lot of seating inside because it's always busy.

Celiac Foodie: Love this restaurant! The food is delicious, flavorful and safe for Celiacs! They have Coffeecake that is out of this world & choosing breakfast is always difficult! Today I had lunch, Chicken Strips & Fries- dedicated frier for gluten free foods & these French fries are perfectly seasoned!! The Waffle & Egg Benedict is really good to, I haven't tried it with the maple syrup thou! Must try Nobles and you'll love it! Happy dining!

It's cool to be able to try new things in a format that is familiar and delicious. It's right near Lombardo's Pizza and Two Guys Brewery. It is easily walkable from Lamar Park but also has parking around the aforementioned businesses. It's a cute little ice cream shack with a couple tables for outside seating. I often forget that the ice cream and ALL THE TOPPINGS are vegan, gluten free, and free of even more allergens. I really like knowing that I have a place I can go with friends and family that DO have food allergies or dietary preferences. The flavors are always really fun and there are often holiday and seasonal specials. Prices are a little higher than other ice cream shops, but you do have to consider that all the products are allergen conscious. The portions are also decently sized. I often eat half and then save the other half in the freezer for later. My only recommendation would be maybe dispersing some of the toppings in the middle, layering with more ice cream and more toppings. The staff and owner have been nothing but kind and communicative. They often stop to talk to you about your day and to thank you for supporting the small business. I'd love if they did an ice cream sandwich or other collab with somewhere like Rise Bakery who also specializes in allergen-friendly bakes.

Their soft serve is delicious and you honestly can't tell that it is not dairy. Sometimes dairy substitute treats have strong overtones of coconut or banana or whatever else is being used in place of milk - not here!! It is a small operation here with limited outdoor seating and limited hours, but worth the trip. Parking is just next to the building but the street is an interesting diagonal that you might miss. Prices are comparable to what you pay for small batch ice cream and gluten free treats. The flurry is quite filling and can last you two desserts if you have some self control to save it in the freezer :) The shortcake flurry was amazing. The cookie chip flurry was a bit puzzling - tasted good, but there was no chocolate chips in it or cookie dough - mostly graham cracker crumbs in vanilla (but chocolate like I was told). Chocolate soft serve was excellent. They serve a wide array of treats! The owner also sells cakes/pies online which you can order and customize. Some of their treats are available at local grocery stores as well.

Honestly it was an incredible location for a space and had such a great vibe inside. I like the concept of fast-casual dining without the need to have a server. I think it allows things to feel more casual and allowed for me to be more willing to eat there (obviously in other circumstances lol). I got the horchata hot cakes with some of the papas with ghost sauce. I thought the pancakes were GREAT and more than worth it for the price. I was surprised how large and fluffy they were. The flavor was great without being too sweet and none of the flavors being too overpowering. My friends got the breakfast sandwiches and chaichata drinks and absolutely loved them. Different from the last time I was here but we were told to find a seat upon entering and that when we were ready, we could order our food at the counter. I looked over their menu and found lots of good breakfast taco options, the breakfast burrito I have heard is great, but what really caught my attention was the biscuits and gravy. I was feeling quite ravenous this morning and got the full order for $11 and a side of bacon. They had a table close to the entrance with extra menus, clean cups, water jugs, hot sauces, silverware and napkins. Seemed like a help-yourself vibe which I grabbed everything we would need for our meal. Our food was brought to us rather quickly and my bf ordered the breakfast bowl with scrambled eggs and sausage. He told me it tasted so good and he loved that he could make his own tacos with his food. He let me try one of the hashbrown rounds and it was perfectly crispy! My biscuits and gravy were phenomenal. The biscuits were so fresh and the gravy had a really nice and comforting flavor to it. You could get chorizo and mushrooms in your gravy but i went with a traditional sausage for my protein. My bacon on the side came in a tiny dish but I ate all four pieces haha. Once we finished, there were some bus bins under the same table with the silverware, we placed all our dirty dishes there and cleaned up after ourselves before leaving. I honestly felt so content leaving there and can't wait to return. I really appreciate the ambiance in there with the beautiful plant life, the lights on the ceiling, and cool decor in general. The staff was also SO NICE! Wins everywhere. I also noticed people coming in for takeout which is good to know in case I don't feel like dining in some morning. Please check this place out sometime if you're in the mood for some really good breakfast that doesn't break your bank account.

The menu does not match what is on line. Prior to going there I looked at their on line menu and what I saw online did not match onsite. Perhaps if the bartender had been more invtiting I may have been more inclined to ask questions, but she didn't seem very interested in talking with me. Online they talk about doing a cool partnership with the funeral home to raise money for a cool veteran fund, I would have gotten that if I had felt more comfortable asking questions. 6.-Overall my experience was meh. I don't intend on returning, but in talking with other people they really seem to enjoy this place. From what I have heard the pizza is really good, I do like a good Chicago Style Pizza. I am sticking with my three stars. This is just my experience, I am all about supporting local businesses. I overheard the owner or manager telling someone they have a property in South Haven. I've always said that The Heritage is one of GR's best hidden gems. This restaurant is run by…read morestudents at the Secchia Institute for Culinary Arts and offers a fine dining experience at a fraction of the cost. There are a few tips you'll need to pay attention to if you'd like to check it out. First, sign up for their email list so you get notified when their reservations open. They have extremely limited hours and dates that they're open (usually only two months throughout the year for a few days each week). The second thing to know is that your meal may take a bit longer than if you were to go out to a restaurant. Since it's a teaching environment, you may overhear instructors telling students how to properly clear tables, giving them tips, etc. and your food may take a bit longer to come out. All that said, if you can get a reservation for lunch or dinner at The Heritage, I highly recommend it. For dinner they usually offer a pre-fixe menu although it has changed over the years. I've dined at The Heritage several times now, for both lunch and dinner. If you have the time for a longer lunch, it's really fun. Nate and I went on their very first day of service during the winter 2024 session and it was great! You could definitely see some nerves, but we were enthusiastic and encouraging. We ordered a bunch of items from the menu: hand pulled mozzarella, chopped salad, shrimp bisque, pork curry, haute style beef, and two desserts. They start you with bread service, and they kept asking if we wanted more throughout the meal. The first few courses were spaced out appropriately and presented nicely. I LOVED the hand pulled mozzarella - it was flavorful and the baguette was perfectly toasted and not too crispy. I'd order that again. The salad was a huge portion and so beautifully plated, but it was a little lacking in flavor. I added some salt which helped. (In general, I have found most of the food to be a tad under seasoned for my taste, but they had salt and pepper shakers on the table). Our entrees took a bit longer to come out, but they were delicious. I preferred the haute beef, which was a perfectly cooked (medium rare) filet on some potato croquettes with delicious sauce. I did think it was interesting they didn't ask me how I wanted the steak cooked, but it was great. They also didn't offer a steak knife, but it wasn't necessary. The pork in the curry was super tender and cooked really nicely. Dessert is displayed on a cart that they bring around which is really fun. We went with the mocha latte torte and the raspberry passionfruit torte. I loved the mocha latte torte as it reminded me of tiramisu. In lieu of tips, an 18% service charge is added to each check and this money is put into scholarships that go back to the students. They also provide a comment card that you can give feedback on at the end of the meal. If you are a patient and kind foodie with a bit of time on your hands, definitely try to make it to The Heritage for a meal!

Solid offering from GRCC's culinary program. The menu was set up prix fixe where you needed to get…read morean app, main, and dessert. As others have mentioned, the drink list is pretty tight, especially wine by the glass. But considering how narrow the hours are here, any larger and they'd be pouring so much wine down the drain. There were 4 of us and we kind of made a point to order different things so we could explore the menu. I got the duck confit cotton candy and it was surprising in 2 ways. The cotton candy was much larger than I anticipated. There was also caramel hiding in the cone of the cotton candy. The duck itself was so good. All the fat was so rendered down. He got the Hamachi Kama. Our friends got the mushroom parcel and the quail egg cloud. I tried the quail egg cloud and the texture was really interesting. The quail egg was hiding under the meringue and it made for a fun bite. Good marks all around. My scallops were cooked to perfection and the curry sauce was killer. I wish the fennel was softened a little bit more but that's more a personal preference. The demi on his steak was amazing too. I was jealous of my friend's pork chop though. I will say that if you are in a rush to be somewhere after dinner, I don't know that this is the place for you. They are learning and that is the mindset that you need to be there to support. So please, don't be that person that gets upset about the wait or asks for something off-menu. I have had the privilege of eating at another culinary program's restaurant and the speed of service was dead similar to this. It's normal. The dessert was good but we had to take it to go because they had a show to get to. The napoleons we got held up really well even after a few hours. I would go back in a heartbeat. I also think that if you want to practice fine dining at an accessible price point, this is a great place to do it. It's a low-stakes, high payoff situation.

Ambience is nice, I'm glad it's not really loud, as some bar food is. Only thing is for nonsmash burgers, like the bison, the server should ask how done you want it, as I prefer medium over well-done. Excellent fried and Mac n' Cheese. A little pricey, with two burgers and Dr.Peppers being $55.

It was a Sunday evening around 5:00 pm. There were only ten or so customers in the restaurant beside our group and we were told the pork and chicken entrees were "all sold out." Almost every single menu item had an up charge. For example, if you wanted your $16 burger with cheese, it was an extra $1 up charge. Bacon? That's $3. Avacado? Also $3. Or if you wanted to upgrade to fries instead of potato chips as a side, that's a $2 up charge. If you want a protein option for almost any of the main entrees, that was an extra $5-$7 up charge. I had a the burger special of the week; the Patty Melt. The burgers were very dry and overcooked, the rye bread toast was dry, and there was hardly any thousand island dressing. One of the kids in our group got the kids mac and cheese and I swear someone whipped up a box of Kraft in the kitchen and served it with some potato chips. For a $9 kids meal I expect better. And to make matters worse, there was something going on with the sewage system there when we visited. Our table was near the restrooms and you could smell an overwhelming odor of feces coming from the bathroom every time someone opened the door. The rest of the place seemed clean so hopefully that's an outlier issue. The waitstaff was polite and professional however service was quite slow. Our experience left so much to be desired.
