The food was yummy! They had a great variety of sushi and every dish we got had great portion size! We enjoyed the vibe of the restaurant, very clean and relaxed. It's located in a little strip mall so there's lots of parking. Not too many people when we got there around 6:30!

Went with family for dinner and had a great experience! I love that they offer a wide variety of ramen, sushi, hand rolls, appetizers, and desserts. We ordered the seaweed salad sushi rolls, avocado rolls, agedashi tofu, and potato croquettes to share--everything was delicious, especially the croquettes, which were perfectly crispy! I had the veggie ramen, which was good, though I personally would've liked a bit more depth in the broth. It would be nice if they offered different soup base options like miso, Kyushu Jangara style, or sesame for vegetarian/vegan ramen. Service was quick and friendly. Plus, they sell a fun selection of anime figurines and Japanese snacks, which adds to the experience. Definitely my favorite ramen spot in the neighborhood--much better than others nearby!

Food is good, service is okay prices are pretty high but I like that you can order through the app. Restaurant is pretty clean.

Their ramen is not as good as Kizuki's, but the soups are usually flavorful. I just wished that their noodles were better. The servers are very nice. It's a pretty good size restaurant so perfect for small to large group. Price is also reasonable.

Checked this restaurant for dinner. Let's start with the basics. Plenty of parking. And friendly staff. Upon entering the restaurant, you see a section of Japanese anime figures , cute items, matcha etc for purchase. It wasn't too crowded and we were seated pretty quickly. They have both online and paper menus. I tried the shrimps karage ramen - my on my it's a creamy tonkotsu based that comes with 2 tempura shrimp and 2 chicken karage in the ramen bowl. The noburu bun is also a nice choice with soft bun and crunchy and crispy chicken, lettuce, mayo and sweet(ish) sauce. We also tried nigiri salmon belly and lemon double salmon roll. Personally, I like the sushi over the ramen at this location. Just one callout - I ordered a good sake. And they didn't have it at the store and offered to replace it with a hot sake. However, the person forgot to bring it and then deducted the charge from the menu without bothering to ask us. Weird. Also, their online menu has poor descriptions and errors and can use some serious updates.

What a difference a year makes!! Last year we had some issues with odd timing of food delivery and a couple other quirky things, but today went great! Shop is very clean and open easy to just have your own conversation. Host brought us right to the table, and pointed out the QR for ordering. She got right on the drinks as the order went in. For me, Kirin on tap, and an iced mango matcha that was probably one of the best we have had. Super high quality green tea! Ordered a roll, some tempura prawns, spicy tuna crispy rice, and tonkatsu for the two of us. Servings were generous. The seafood dishes were extremely fresh and flavorful, but balanced. The tonkatsu ramen broth had a great fat content and decent depth of flavor - maybe a little more tare. Was great to see one of the sushi chefs from the old Sushiland that was formerly in the same space. Host came back to check frequently, and offered to run the bill so that we didn't have to deal with the QR system again. Had a great chat about the matcha and the shop. Will be back more frequently

3.5 stars. Ramen was good. $16-17 per bowl. Good portions. Tonkatsu, spicy miso and noburu black were all solid choices. Calamari and gyoza were good. We left feeling full. Friend got the chirashi bowl which took SO LONG to come out we were all finished with our ramen already. Definitely not worth $33. Would recommend against this. Ambiance is very casual. Front part of the store they sell action figures which is interesting. Table service was fast (despite the super mistimed meals mentioned above) and they came by to refill our waters multiple times. Easy parking.

Cute interior -- felt very clean and modern. My friend got a ramen bowl and I got the chashu bowl. It wasn't the best chashu I've ever had, but it was delicious and hit the spot! I'd definitely go back to try more dishes here in the future. :)

The two rolls mentioned - forgot to take a pic before we almost finished them.

Price point and taste are great. Come often and not just because we live in the neighborhood. The ramen is just ok and hits the spot when a warm bowl of noodles is needed. The ramen eggs ew delicious though. Favs are the shrimp katsu roll and newest fav is the Spicy crunchy roll.

Family friendly delicious ramen! Located in the Bella Bottega shopping area, parking is easy. Overall ambiance is clean, pleasant, and casual. You order via QR code on the table with your phone or via the server. Food came out in a timely manner and service was very courteous and considerate! We got 2 bowls of ramen and a small chicken karaage bowl and everything was well seasoned with good texture. Noodle portions were generous and the chicken karaage were the hugest I've seen. Another plus was that it was not crowded at all for a weekend lunch. We will definitely be returning in the future for basic Japanese food cravings!

DANBO DUPE!! If you're a fan of Danbo, you'll likely enjoy this spot. Personally, I'm not a fan of Danbo, which is why I'm giving it only 3 stars for the food. The service was good, and I ordered the Spicy Miso Ramen. Unfortunately, the broth was underwhelming--lacking in flavor and salt, and it didn't have the spice I was hoping for.

Average spot for ramen and basic sushi. Seems like it's good for groups of various sizes. Prices seemed a little high. Service was good!

A nice ramen place to visit in Redmond. We went here on a Friday night and this place was not that crowded and we were greeted by the host who immediately seated us. They serve sushi and ramen and we ordered the spicy miso ramen. The service was good and fast. The ramen was good probably not one of the best I have tried in Seattle area.

What does "Noburu" mean? I asked a server during dinner on March 1, 2025. They said that it's Japanese, but they didn't know what it means.

They are nice, friendly, and very efficient at their work. All of them, not just the servers but busers, janitor, cooks, everyone. The owner and managers must be very good at selecting the right staff and training them well. As an example, when I pulled out my credit card to pay, a server was there in literally 3 seconds to present me the bill. The restaurant is very cozy and not too loud. There is often a line here, but don't let that deter you. It moves fast, and people in line seem to be having fun. This is definitely on my list of one of my favorite restaurants in the Seattle area.

Here's the scenario. I'm recovering from surgery and have major dietary restrictions (liquids only), so I think, okay, I want to have a meal with friends and not have it be awkward so let's go to a soup place. I asked for just broth and was informed that they could do that but I'd have to pay the full price for a bowl of ramen. "Okay," I say, "fine, can you please just bring broth?" Yes. What I got was a bowl of ramen with noodles and the toppings on the side. I sent it back saying I couldn't have the noodles and could I please have what I ordered, which was just broth? Sure. So they bring back the bowl less than half full of broth with noodles on the side. Argh. At this point it was getting embarrassing for me so I just dealt with it and spent the meal pissed off that I was paying full price AND the staff were anti customer service. Beware. Unless you're ordering exactly off the menu and have no special requests, STEER CLEAR of Hokkaido Ramen Santoku.

I ordered a miso ramen and my parents ordered the tonkatsu ramen. As someone from the Bay Area, I was so surprised by the richness of the ramen and it definitely beats some of my usual spots. Each bowl was ~$15 and a smaller bowl, so would definitely advise getting an extra batch of noodles. The chashu is melt in your mouth tender. The broth wasn't very salty or over complicated itself with a burst of spices, but highlighted the simplicity of a good ramen, tasting the long simmer of the pork. We walked into a casual, compact space with a mix of counter and table seating that fits the quick ramen shop style. The interior is efficient and well organized, though it can get extremely busy, and the wait times are often one of the biggest parts of the experience, especially during peak hours. Once seated, the space feels functional and comfortable, designed around getting a bowl of ramen in front of you without unnecessary distractions. The ramen is built around rich tonkotsu broth with a lot of customization options. We appreciated the ability to adjust things like noodle firmness, richness, and spice level, which made each bowl feel more personalized. The regular tonkotsu ramen stood out for its deep umami flavor without feeling overly heavy, and the noodles had a great texture that held up well against the broth. The vegan options also stand out, including miso-based bowls with flavorful broths that give non-pork options more depth than many ramen shops offer. The toppings are generous, and the soft-boiled egg was cooked to that perfect jammy consistency. Beyond ramen, the menu has a few sides that complement the meal well, including gyoza that came out crisp and well filled. We also grabbed mochi ice cream for something sweet afterward, a light finish after the rich broth. The seasonal ramen options are worth checking out since they add variety beyond the standard bowls, giving regular visitors a reason to come back and try something new. Service is generally quick and friendly, especially considering how busy the restaurant gets. The ordering system is straightforward, and the staff handles the constant flow of customers efficiently. The team kept the pace moving without making the experience feel rushed, and they were attentive to refilling water and checking in on the table. The biggest downside is the popularity, since the lines can sometimes feel long for a relatively quick meal, but the wait tends to move faster than expected given the efficient turnover. Ramen Danbo is a reliable spot for a satisfying bowl of ramen in Seattle. The customizable bowls, strong broth, and consistent noodle quality make it a place worth visiting, although planning around busy hours can make the experience much better. The balance of customization and quality means you can dial in your bowl exactly how you like it, and the focused approach to the menu keeps the attention where it belongs.
