My friend sat closer to the restaurant and said that the plants were very close to them and they didn't prefer that closeness in proximity. Thats the cause for the lost star for ambiance. The service was slow. We weren't greeted for over 10 minutes after being sat. We also would've liked swifter refills. That's the cause of the lost star for service. We ordered the tuna tartar to start, and had the Greek tacos, pancakes, and the chicken meatballs. Everything was extremely flavorful and tasted fresh. 2 thumbs up. The layout of this restaurant is nice as there are different levels. There is a live DJ by the bar which is a good vibe for large groups. The main dining area is much larger and a good vibe for groups or more intimate dining. I went here for brunch and enjoyed it so much I will come back and try dinner. The service was exceptional (our waiter Anthony was amazing!). My favorite dish was the greek tacos. I love the array of options for the bottomless brunch option where you can choose different drinks. There is only valet parking available. You can look for parking on the street but it doesn't seem like there is much available. I highly recommend trying this place out. read more

My wife and I have been here on 3 different occasions; double date & 2 friends' birthdays. It's a fun, pretty spot. Our favorites are the shrimp saganaki and the assortment of dips. I've had Noema on my list for a while now and I regret not stopping in sooner. We decided last minute on Noema so we didn't make a reservation. Upon entering at 7:45 the young hostess was really nice but told us upon looking no tables were available and said an hour plus wait. Luckily someone else perhaps the manager? Stepped in took a look and said we can seat you now. Good thing for the other person as I was already looking for other local dining options. It really is such a beautiful restaurant. Ally was our waitress and she was fantastic! Always love amazing service! I started out with their smoke show I believe that was the name it was good and just the right amount of spice and alcohol followed by their Espresso Martini a little too strong but just a personal preference still it was good! Unfortunately, I had eaten a late lunch so I wasn't too hungry. I had so many apps I wanted to try from there and fish. I ended up going with their ribeye although hesitant as anytime I order steaks it's always at a steakhouse and brussel sprouts as I knew I would not be eating much and would need something that would be great next day. Wow I was very surprised how amazing the ribeye tasted. After two bites I was full but it was cooked perfectly, juicy, flavorful and seasoned well. The brussel sprouts wow really delicious too!! These two items I highly recommend. I really look forward to coming back with an empty stomach and trying out other options. The reason for the 4 star instead of the 5 is due to how my leftovers were handled which completely turned me off. Management should address this to staff for future reference. I had just two bites and plenty of steak leftover. A young man came over and took them to wrap it up for me. Upon opening it this morning the container they decided to use was too small. Their solution was to just tear the bone off along with some steak to make it fit. The bone and additional meat were not in the tupperware and I could tell how much steak was missing. I definitely can tell it was not sliced off just simply torn off and just is off putting to me to consume. Next time any leftovers I will request to put package it up myself. read more

The fried calamari was tender and the dipping sauce cut the fat from frying! Would definitely get again. Filet Mignon-perfect cook. It was a well seasoned and perfectly cooked steak. The sauce was a nice touch! Brussels Sprouts - sweet. Was not expecting the sprouts to be sweet but it was so nice paired with the meal. Lemon Potatoes- bright. The acid help cut the fat from my meal. Greek Fries- standard. It was a well done side but I would choose to have one potato on the table. We stumbled upon Noema while walking around Huntington looking for a restaurant for dinner. We walked in on a Saturday night and were seated immediately. Atmosphere was upscale and guests were dressed nicely. There was no dress code, but I'd say cocktail hour or casual Friday business attire would be most appropriate here. I had a glass of white Greek wine. Handful of wines by the glass and some options by the bottle. A couple beers were available by the bottle. We started with the branzino ceviche, tuna tartare, grilled calamari, and Greek salad. All of the starters were a hit at our table. Ceviche was on the spicy side and had a bold flavor as expected with ceviche. Tuna tartare was likely the favorite at the table. It came with a smoked eggplant purée that everyone loved. Calamari was perfectly tender and generously dressed in oil making it ultra savory. Salad had thick cut tomatoes, cucumber, and feta making it more like grazing plate than a medley. Nevertheless, all the ingredients were great. For the main course, we shared the scorpion fish and a couple of the tiger prawns. The scorpion fish was sold at market price and weighed in at over three pounds making it quite expensive. It also took approximately an hour to make which is understandable for such a large fish. It was ultra juicy. The head of the fish was outstanding! Incredibly tender and a flavor that reminded me of caviar. The large fish had large bones which made it fairly easy to eat. The prawns were superb too. They were probably everyone's favorite item of the night. They were grilled and butterflied making them super easy to eat. I highly recommend them! For dessert, we shared the chocolate soufflé. I was full, but it went over very well with my wife. Service was attentive. Pacing of everything aside from the scorpion fish was quick. I wish they gave us a heads up about the cook time of the fish; we would have requested for the appetizers to be spread apart, so there was less time between the appetizers and the fish. I'm really confused why this place has 3.9 stars. TBH I was hesitant to come here because the food looked mediocre in pictures, but everything was phenomenal. I took a gamble and came on a Saturday night without a reservation - luckily they had a high top available in the bar area. We started the night with oysters and drinks (banana bread old fashion and lychee martini). The absolute BEST lychee martini I've ever had. Wow! For appetizers we had the chicken meatballs and zucchini fries. I usually don't like chicken or meatballs but these were so delicious! So flavorful! And the zucchini fries - so perfectly crispy!! I wish I took pictures of our food but I was so excited to eat that I didn't want to wait. For mains, my friend had the lamb special, which fell right off the bone and I had the seared tuna. The seared tuna was perfectly cooked with a light sear, pre-sliced and placed on top of a seaweed crisp atop white sauce (not sure what the sauce was, but it was delicious). The seaweed crisp with a really nice touch. I was expecting a sheet of seaweed but it was a bit thicker and crunchier, and really complimented the dish. For dessert, the pistachio martini is a MUST!!! I never drink - I don't like the taste of alcohol, but these drinks were out of this world good! The service was excellent. Those bartenders....OOOOOF! Every drink was better than the last!! And shoutout to Victoria, literally the BEST waitress !! She handled her section like a pro. She was so attentive and I was really impressed with how well she handled so many tables without breaking a sweat. She was well versed on everything in the menu and gave excellent recommendations. She even timed our courses perfectly!!! Like she waited for us to finish oysters before she put in our apps and then waited for us to finish apps before mains. I wanted to love this place ! It has so many of the qualities I relish in a great restaurant : Decor, service, architecture, location and music but the food just is t good. The octopus was fresh but served cold. The oysters were tiny but priced large and weren't that great . My grilled tuna was fresh but again, very cold and little flavor. We ordered a desert but sent it back , some key lime disaster. The service was excellent, great waitress in the bar area which is a great spot . DJ played good music at a perfect volume so you were t blasted out of your mind. I had a good time just wish the food was better. Well -we wanted it to be very good. So we ordered what we thought would be must try items to get a view. So here is the recap. The ceviche was excellent and the branzino was soft and tender. Both tasty. We also tried the fried zucchini which although flavorful was a bit greasy. But the downside was the chicken meatball appetizer literally came out cold and had no taste -except the mushroom Marsala sauce. It took quite a while to grab the attention of the waitress and finally the manager we were able to get. Disappointing as it took long to get his attention. To his credit he apologize profusely --and even tasted it in the back kitchen (we saw through the door)...they brought us a new one and although it was hot it still has no taste other than the Marsala. They did comp it. The restaurant is priced high with the entrees coming with no sides -so when the appetizer comes out cold you just can't give it four stars. The staff was nice. Dinner at this beautiful restaurant is a MUST!!! The ambiance is 10/10 such a romantic setting with live music and unique paintings all over. My friend and I sat at a table on the main floor it was spacious, clean & the candle fixtures set a vibe. For drinks we ordered a Mocktail strawberry Mojito that my friend said was really good. It was presented nicely but also she mentioned that she hasn't ordered a mocktail in a while because she felt that they were never good but with this one she was really satisfied. I ordered the smoke show which is tequila based and has a little spice very nice not overwhelming also presented well. I really wanted to try the Santorini Sunset I thought it was garnished nicely with flowers but unfortunately it came with no flowers. The drink overall was good but I did want the complete presentation. For starters I began with the shrimp loukoumades which was beautifully plated. The shrimps were coated and had a rich taste. Secondly I got the must have starter on the menu the swordfish kebab, My goodness this dish deserves all praises. It was plated on a bed of green salsa which is more like an avocado puree, spinach and tomatoes. Absolutely delicious I couldn't get enough I highly recommend. For our main course I originally ordered a snapper which sold out quickly, unfortunately I was unable to have it this dining experience but I definitely will next time. I did end up getting the Whole Branzino à la plancha which was a great substitute topped with capers. I paired it with lemon potatoes which I do wish had a bit more seasoning. My friend chose the Filet mignon which she said was cooked to her liking. There was a hard sear on both sides of the steak which she seemed to enjoy. She paired her steak with gigantes which I also tasted, it had a real mediterranean taste to it you could taste all of the spices and the portion was a good size. For dessert I sided with the Bougatsa it was so much more than we both expected and I mean portion wise but also taste wise. It was flaky, rich but delicate we really enjoyed it. Great dinner! We sat upstairs. The architecture was modern. Very white with beautiful fresh fish displayed by the front entrance. We started with some great cocktails. The east and west oysters were refreshing. The black truffle tarama was soo good I'm stilling thinking about it. What a nice twist.. the shrimp loukoumades were tasty as well. My bronzino was deliciously fresh and everyone enjoyed their meal, lamb chops, paella, and sole. Fish was wonderful. After a day full of running around and getting chores done we were able to get reservations for 6:30 pm on a Saturday evening. During the holidays or almost any weekend, parking can be hard to get but we were able to snag a spot fairly close. If you're not quite that lucky, they provide valet parking and the attendants seem friendly enough. Once inside, Noema is very festive and adorned for the holidays. The hostess escorted us to the upper dining room that was very classy and next to a cozy fireplace. There can be some fabric added to squelch some of the noise that is quite loud with all of the animated conversations going on all around. There are spaces for about 30 or so on this level so the amount of conversations happening can be very loud. Our server was Victoria S and she was a delight. Straight forward and friendly, she explained the specials for the evening and made some recommendations for both adult beverages and food specials. Some of the seafood specials were prominently displayed as you walk in the front door and looked amazing. We ordered some appetizers for the table and the sun dried tomato paste and crackers were a great touch to get us started. The calamari was cooked perfectly as was the octopus. There were many fried zucchini's for us to munch as we waited for the main course- seared scallops with squid ink pasta- delicious. My wife loved the tar tar and thought that while the flavor was excellent, the added fish roe was too crunchy and detracted from the plate. Aside from the really high noise levels, other detractors to our meal was an extremely loud fire alarm that went off during our meal. It took at least 15 minutes for the fire department to stop the blaring siren and the strobe lights and give the all-clear to continue our meal. Certainly not the fault of the restaurant, but not a fun event for the diners inside. You would think that the management would make an announcement and perhaps offer a dessert or coffee on the house, but alas our server was the only one to offer an apology for the disruption. Another not so pleasant sight was watching two younger bus boys roughhousing just outside the kitchen entrance. For the prices here, you would never expect to see this type of behavior in a classy restaurant. Luckily, my wife and daughter didn't witness this event due to their orientation at the table. The delicious food and the good service managed to skirt these other episodes and save our meal. Prices are high here even for Long Island. For our meal of five appetizers and one main course, two beers and one cocktail, the bill came to $225. If the overall experience were better, it might closer reflect the merit and final price. We might come back and we may just try one of the other great restaurants nearby. read more

Came here for brunch yesterday and found the experience to be better than a lot of the reviews I saw on Yelp, so that was good to hear. We made a reservation and got my favorite table in the house, right in the corner against the wall with a mirror. We had a party of 4 and a baby, and they had the high chair out for the kiddo and friendly service from our waitress. She apologized so much for everything, even though she didn't do anything wrong. Which was interesting. Food was decent, not bad not outstanding, but overall the place gets 4 stars from me. Eggs Benedict was good, Olive biscuit was also alright, OJ was standard and Coffee was super strong. I heard there was an incident from a past experience with someone I was with that she was not happy with, and legit when she was telling me about it, the manager came over to comp a round of drinks. A hidden gem in Huntington village! Beautiful HUGE restaurant (2 or 3 floors). Beautiful decor all around. Our waitress was so knowledgeable about the menu and guided us in the right direction for the appetizers (not pictured). Gorgeous restaurant that just seems to transport you to a beautiful island in Greece. I came here for brunch to celebrate a friend's birthday and had a great time. The food was really tasty. I had the chicken and waffles, which was really good.. but my only complaint/question is the need for bleu cheese crumble on the waffles? I'm personally not a fan of bleu cheese crumble and have never seen it before on top of waffles. It honestly threw me off. On the menu, it was just listed as "crumble" so I would definitely emphasize that or call that out when people go to order it. The restaurant was practically empty, and I think it's because they're still so new. We spoke to the owner after we finished eating and she had asked us about our thoughts on them getting a DJ. We told her we definitely thought the restaurant could use a DJ especially for brunch, to attract a nice crowd. I finally made it to Noema for brunch! I'm so impressed with the decor! Gorgeous space! The details , even the bathroom was beautiful! I ordered an Aperol spritz and my husband had a martini. So delish we had two. I ordered the Greek bagel, which had eggs, salmon and this delish tomato salad. Out of this world!!! We shared a pancake. Yummy. My Hubbs had the Eggs Benedict and loved it. There was a mix up with the pancakes, so they took it off the bill which was really nice of them and the server was so sweet. I also tried the Greek biscuits and bacon , also good.
