    Shrimp with feta cheese

Came in for lunch and was so impressed. The vibe and modern decor bright and reminded me of being in Greece. We ordered the scallop appetizer and 2 spreads delicious and fresh. Then onto the jumbo shrimps with baked feta entree and the Halibut filet with rice. Both dishes generous portions and delicious. Overall great service and food was excellent.

Shrimp Saganaki baked with feta & fresh tomatoes served with a grilled bread.

When you just got back from an amazing dinner you must YELP about it.Dinner at SYMI Northport TAVERNA was AMAZING! We had raw clams, octopus salad & the scene stealer SYMI CHIPS!! Thinly sliced eggplant & zucchini in a light flour dusting fried to perfection with a yummy tzatziki sauce. The entrees were in a class by themselves. The sea bass was whole & deboned in a bath of lemon juice & capers. The most fresh fish. 2 diners chose lamb chops with melt in your mouth lemon potatoes. I had an app Shrimp Saganaki as my main. The place was bustling & the hues of blue & white added to the ambiance. Our waitress was the wonderful Athena..who served & explained all with a smile. Dessert was another treat. We chose chocolate lava cake & Athena brought us a tasting of the Greek yogurt with tart cherries & a Greek custard wrapped in filo..all three were a chefs kiss!! Definitely will be back to this beautiful spot in Northport.

Beautiful interior, very Greek like, with everything wire with blue accents. Large dining room and another private room for parties or overflow. Service was friendly and excellent. Food was delicious. We got the dinner special which is a good value: $37 for appetizer, entree and dessert! And they were large portions, huge Greek salad and excellent.

One of the only Greek spots offering a Kyma Thursday night feel in Suffolk county, since Noema closed down. I must say I been here a few times & this is my final time on Valentine's Eve! Everything took forever the service was slow & the drinks were not good. The restaurant itself is beautiful welcoming decor & lighting. But damn what a let down!We specifically ask for Don Julio Blanco & yet they serve us Casamigos & the cocktail tasted terrible. It took us about 15min to get the complimentary bread. We tried to order the Seafood Tower, but they were out of the Shrimp. Then we tried to order the Feta Cheese & they were out of that too. From being to end it was a bad experience. The food took so long we ended taking most of it to go, including the desert. FYI: They add a 20% service charge on the bill & an additional 3% if you use a credit card! Even w/ the slow & bad service we still had a $100 tip. This is something recent I threw my birthday in the end of 2024 & the fees were not automatically added to the bill!

Symi was...interesting. It's a restaurant with a modern Greek menu, but also a DJ booth and blaring music from around 8pm on. The menu prices scream "high-end restaurant," but the dance floor and loud music give off nightclub vibes. Quite an identity crisis. The space is newly renovated, and I think they did a nice job with it overall, even if parts are converted into an ad hoc dance floor at certain hours. The food was okay. My scallops were seared nicely but the dish was incredibly salty. I felt my kidneys working overtime after just a few bites. Other dishes were okay, but with most entrees veering into the $40+ range, I expected quality. I'd consider coming back for a nice lunch, but writing this as my ears are still ringing tells me that I'm not the target clientele for late dinners!

Came here for the Easter lamb dinner. The portion was decent and served just with lemon potatoes only. The lamb was flavorful but just a bit steep in price. Service was ok. Never asked if we wanted additional drinks. I tried the Symitini - Ketel One, St. Germain, lychee juice, butterfly tea syrup, lemon juice. The cocktail was nice but not worth $18. Also , the restaurant was open areas, seated by the waiter station area which seemed odd. Inside very nice but just didn't feel too welcome.

Symi Northport @syminorthport Symi in Northport is serving up high quality Greek cuisine with a mix of well-executed seafood, grilled meats, and appetizers. The elegant dining space is great for date night or a special occasion. We absolutely loved the food! This video we will highlight all the food and drinks, with a follow up video to come, capturing the details of the beautiful ambiance that Symi has to offer. To start we got the Symi Chips that were lightly breaded eggplant and zucchini that were excellent! We love how they were lightly breaded, really letting those flavors of the vegetables still shine. The Spanakopita is a classic that they are doing right - can't go wrong! The stars of the show were definitely the Lobster Pasta (serving options for 1 or 2) using their house made linguini and Main Lobster; and their Grilled Lamb Chops that were juicy and filled with amazing flavors! We ended the experience with their Saragli (rolled baklava with nuts) - a must, and their Key Lime Pie that we shockingly really enjoyed - we aren't typically the biggest fans, but theirs was amazing! All the cocktails that I had were excellent and refreshing! Added bonus that they looked as good as they tasted! We loved it here and we know you will too! Follow us on IG @drinklongislandny for full video and many more spots!

The food was great, the drinks were delicious and the vibe was awesome. Can't go wrong with this place on a weekend. The service was on point, but they def need more bartenders.

It is now terrible. Big mistake. There are burgers joints everywhere. I went there to pick up a takeout (by the way, the menu has changed. The fried calamari, which was excellent is gone. It was fresh because they included the tentacles which you can't buy in the frozen rings which suck). It's dark inside, and the overwhelming stink of burgers doesn't mix well with the glorious smell of Greek food. Also, I bought the greek wings. Why do you put slimy onions and peppers on top of grilled wings? Totally disgusting. And my wife ordered a chicken sandwich. Dry garbage on a cheap bun. And stop using your old reviews which were good. I was sooo disappointed. Won't be going back.

Perfectly fire grilled and I have to say the seasoning was on point! I dislike when restaurants heavily salt and season their seafood but this right here was perfect! Very fresh & I'm eating healthy tonight! The roasted peppers, the fresh dill, squeeze of lemon and light olive oil! I want to drink the juice in the take out foil! The potatoes are delicious and plentiful. What a great deal for $23! Comes w pita bread and a nice portion tzatziki sauce!! Thank you. The venue is small, with just a few tables for dining in, but it was clean, cozy, and very welcoming. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel right at home. We were greeted immediately and given a rundown of the day's specials, which was a nice touch. For lunch, we ordered the stuffed mushrooms (a daily special), the grilled octopus appetizer, and a Greek salad. The portions were generous and more than enough for two people. Every dish was packed with flavor and prepared perfectly. The stuffed mushrooms were excellent, the octopus was tender and well-seasoned, and the Greek salad was fresh and delicious. By the end of the meal, we were completely satisfied and definitely left full. The prices were also very reasonable, especially considering the quality and portion sizes. Overall, this was an unexpected gem, and we're so glad we decided to give it a try. We will absolutely be back and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for delicious food, friendly service, and a great value.

Pete's is as correct as it gets. I moved out to Long Island recently. Took less than a week for the queens food cravings to kick in. I looked around and found Pete the Greek. Pete if you're reading this, it's love. I commute through queens every single day. Ask me when's the last time I had a gyro in queens. Ask me when's the last time I had ANYTHING in queens other than traffic. Me and my wife are foodies in the highest form. Pete's spot is becoming a weekly habit in our household. I don't even need to ask what she wants. I just show up with the bag that has gyros the size of a family platter and I get welcomed more than a check you didn't expect to get. Let me explain, the pita is legit with no tears and soggy portions(you can smell it can't you), the veggies are fresh and CRISP my guy/gal. (your mind just made the crunch sound didn't it) the cheese and white sauce are wilder than a group of kids with no babysitters around. As for the meat of choice, pause on this but there's enough to go two rounds if you're more focused on the long haul. You're going to have to bite this thing like a gentle mike Tyson listening to Motown in the boxing ring while your eyes are closed and you're dancing under dim lights; it'll get you where you need to be, in God damn flavortown. But you can go slow. It's not here to hurt you, it's only going to crush it's competition by taking one customer over at a time. If you live out here and choose to go to a different Greek spot, either I'm missing some marbles, or you're smoking them. I want to try everything in that place. Even the damn napkins have to at least smell nice. So here we are, you've made it to the end. Congratulations. And you're welcome, if you almost walked into chipotle instead, you almost lost your destiny. But you're saved now. You chose Pete's. And your significant other now knows what she wants to eat. Bless. All is right. And to all a goodnight. (Insert LL Cool J peace sign kiss here) PS: buy the pita and hummus side too. Get an extra white sauce on the side and you can finagle your own bagel as you please with all that extra meat you're failing at holding with both hands. I said what I said. Damn I'm hungry AF right now.
