    Greek salad

Beautiful interior, very Greek like, with everything wire with blue accents. Large dining room and another private room for parties or overflow. Service was friendly and excellent. Food was delicious. We got the dinner special which is a good value: $37 for appetizer, entree and dessert! And they were large portions, huge Greek salad and excellent.

Symi was...interesting. It's a restaurant with a modern Greek menu, but also a DJ booth and blaring music from around 8pm on. The menu prices scream "high-end restaurant," but the dance floor and loud music give off nightclub vibes. Quite an identity crisis. The space is newly renovated, and I think they did a nice job with it overall, even if parts are converted into an ad hoc dance floor at certain hours. The food was okay. My scallops were seared nicely but the dish was incredibly salty. I felt my kidneys working overtime after just a few bites. Other dishes were okay, but with most entrees veering into the $40+ range, I expected quality. I'd consider coming back for a nice lunch, but writing this as my ears are still ringing tells me that I'm not the target clientele for late dinners!

Came here for the Easter lamb dinner. The portion was decent and served just with lemon potatoes only. The lamb was flavorful but just a bit steep in price. Service was ok. Never asked if we wanted additional drinks. I tried the Symitini - Ketel One, St. Germain, lychee juice, butterfly tea syrup, lemon juice. The cocktail was nice but not worth $18. Also , the restaurant was open areas, seated by the waiter station area which seemed odd. Inside very nice but just didn't feel too welcome.

Symi Northport @syminorthport Symi in Northport is serving up high quality Greek cuisine with a mix of well-executed seafood, grilled meats, and appetizers. The elegant dining space is great for date night or a special occasion. We absolutely loved the food! This video we will highlight all the food and drinks, with a follow up video to come, capturing the details of the beautiful ambiance that Symi has to offer. To start we got the Symi Chips that were lightly breaded eggplant and zucchini that were excellent! We love how they were lightly breaded, really letting those flavors of the vegetables still shine. The Spanakopita is a classic that they are doing right - can't go wrong! The stars of the show were definitely the Lobster Pasta (serving options for 1 or 2) using their house made linguini and Main Lobster; and their Grilled Lamb Chops that were juicy and filled with amazing flavors! We ended the experience with their Saragli (rolled baklava with nuts) - a must, and their Key Lime Pie that we shockingly really enjoyed - we aren't typically the biggest fans, but theirs was amazing! All the cocktails that I had were excellent and refreshing! Added bonus that they looked as good as they tasted! We loved it here and we know you will too! Follow us on IG @drinklongislandny for full video and many more spots!

The food was great, the drinks were delicious and the vibe was awesome. Can't go wrong with this place on a weekend. The service was on point, but they def need more bartenders.

Went to try Symi the new Greek restaurant in Northport. I know you're thinking another Greek restaurant, but Symi is not your typical Greek restaurant, with your gyros, souvlaki etc.. You walk in to a bright open floor plan and the bar is right there which invites you to try one of their signature cocktails.Symi takes Greek food to another level they start you off with spicy olive oil with olives and pita in a small bowl then jump into an appetizer I had the Shrimp Saganaki it was so good I told them you should expand the portion and make it an entree. The Prasini salad was so good. Main Course was the Psari Plaki and the NY Strip prepared presented well but lacked a little flavor. I always say coffee complements the meal iced and regular cappuccino was one of the best I had and did just that, so I will be back. Ciao for Now

Great Greek food, not just casual Greek. The atmosphere is upscale and the lunch and early dinner menus are a great value.

The…read morespace does have seating available, but it leans more like a takeout-style spot--but perfect for a n nice casual meal. We ordered both the falafel platter and the chicken souvlaki platter, and both delivered. The chicken souvlaki was perfectly cooked with a great grilled char that added nice flavor without drying it out. Comes with Greek salad, fries or rice. Rice was cooked nicely and the fries were perfectly seasoned with salt and herbs (oregano). The Greek salad was assembled closer to an authentic Greek salad. Fresh ingredients and none of the ridiculous leafy greens, and no black olives here! Rough chop with the right stuff; cucumbers, tomatoes, red onions, green bell peppers, kalamata olives and feta cheese. My only critique on the salad was that it was crumbled feta and not the traditional block feta with drizzled, extra-virgin olive oil and oregano. Still better than most out there. Service was just fine--nothing over the top, but efficient and friendly enough to keep things moving smoothly. Overall, Twisted Greek is a good choice if you're in the area and craving flavorful, well-prepared fast Greek food whether you're dining in briefly or grabbing something to go. I'm happy to have found this place!

I had the displeasure of eating food from here today. I was too tired to drive to my usual spot (Pete The Greek) so I decided to give this place a try. Boy oh boy do I ever regret it. The portions are lacking, except for the salad of course.the salad took up half the tray and then you have two little cup tray areas for the potatoes and the chicken souvlaki. The potatoes hardly had any flavor and The chicken lacked flavor as well. I was greatly disappointed that the chicken was thighs and not white meat chicken breast like at my usual spot. At these prices, they shouldn't be cutting corners. This place would not give me half rice and half potatoes like my usual spot and I understand why,the tray is not big enough. I guess that explains why the place was empty With no takeout order sitting on the counter. My usual place usually has 5 to 10 bags sitting there waiting to be picked. I'll never do this again I will make the trip no matter how exhausting I am. Please don't take my word for it. Give it a try for yourself.

It is now terrible. Big mistake. There are burgers joints everywhere. I went there to pick up a takeout (by the way, the menu has changed. The fried calamari, which was excellent is gone. It was fresh because they included the tentacles which you can't buy in the frozen rings which suck). It's dark inside, and the overwhelming stink of burgers doesn't mix well with the glorious smell of Greek food. Also, I bought the greek wings. Why do you put slimy onions and peppers on top of grilled wings? Totally disgusting. And my wife ordered a chicken sandwich. Dry garbage on a cheap bun.
