absolutely phenominal hostess, and the waitress always kept our glasses full of water which I usually use to decide the tip. I genuinely cant say enough about good things about the wait staff, and the bread and fried ravioli are AMAZING!!! Unfortunately I still have to leave a 1-star review. I always order calamari from just about anywhere, and this place has the worst, most rubber calamari I have ever tasted. i got better calamari at Olive Garden about 2 weeks ago. we ordered the shrimp scampi and didnt even finish it we were so nervous after the calamari about the seafood. the shrimp came out with the tail shell still partially on which is just disrespectful to the customer who is paying about $100 after their "20%, 25%, or 30%" tip options. never been more disappointed as a customer at a restaurant. read more

This was our second time trying this restaurant. We hoped it was just a one off bad experience the first time, sadly it seems to be the same. The service was terrible for the few tables that were seated. Everyone on the staff seemed to be standing around and one person trying to serve. We had to ask for the warm bread after sitting and waiting for some time. The appetizer (mixed sampler) was terrible. The calamari was over cooked and very rubbery, and the "fried shrimp" was far closer to chicken fried shrimp with a very thick, and burnt coating which they tried to cover with a thick layer of over seasoning. For a restaurant many locals seem to love....I cannot help but wonder if the fake attempt at an upscale environment is what they really enjoy?! The food and service leave a significant amount of disappointment. So my much so, we just paid for the appetizer and left rather than continue waiting and be further disappointed by any main dish. read more

I came here with not a high expectation. I thought it was another place try to pull off an Italian restaurant. I was wrong. The food is beyond delicious, the staff is sweet and not overly annoying like some. The salmon was moist, tender, and cooked just right. What a pleasant surprise! This restaurant was clean, had great customer service, and the food was excellent! Jacey was our server and she was very accommodating. I have dietary restrictions and she made an effort to ensure my food items were dairy free. She even asked the chef to prepare the amazing garlic knots without butter and cheese! So kind! Had an early dinner with daughter, son in law and grandson. They sat us in the middle of the room which was not ideal with a toddler. Ordered the Chicken Verona. Felt it was overpriced as the amount of chicken looked to be a very thin sliced 1/2 breast. It was over sauced. The service was not good. We had to ask for bread and waited awhile for drinks to be refilled. The server had many tables and dropped plates and cups 3x in different spots during our dinner. Have stopped going to Nollie's because one time I went and asked for a meal that had some chicken in it and for some reason, I could taste the freezer flavor on that meat coming like it wasn't thawed out long enough and they just placed it on the plate and zapped in the microwave. It has been a while since my wife and I have been back to dine at Noli's Vite. Indeed it was before COVID-19 hit that we ate at this place. We liked their food and the attentive service and we kept telling ourselves we would be back. Well, we came back today after our late morning lab work (ie fasted for 12 hours) and after we opted not to wait 30 minutes to be seated at Buttermilk Cafe. It was raining heavily and we were hungry but waited in our truck before we went inside Noli's Vite shortly after 11:00 AM. We were greeted cordially and were seated promptly. We ordered calamari for an appetizer. My wife ordered the calzone with chicken soup and I tried their chicken parmigiana with chicken soup. Our meal came with yummy bread rolls. First of all, the soup was flavorful but it wasn't hot enough. The calamari was overcooked. It was chewy which pretty much ruined it. The main entrees, which were served in generous portions, were OK. My chicken parmigiana didn't taste as fresh as I expected and hoped for. All in all, it was quite a let down after high expectations based on prior visits to this place. Service remained attentive but meal quality seemed to have dipped a bit. Lunch for 2 came out to just over $48 with a generous tip. read more

We picked up food because we had been out on the lake all day, family platters for 25 people. We got chicken Parmesan, chicken Alfredo and lasagna. Everyone loved it! It was so good!! You could tell it was authentic, not just big chain bland recipes. The flavors were amazing and delicious. And the garlic bread...oh my word. Can't get enough of it. I've lived in L.A., NYC and Philly, Noli's is on par with the great Italian restaurants in all of these cities. The shrimp & scallops in Alfredo Sauce (gravy) was outstanding! We love Noli's! The staff is always pleasant and hustling...especially since the COVID mess we've all been living through. I've watched the staff on hand with a full room nearly running (but not to stay safe) to make sure they are doing all they can to get customers taken care of. The food is excellent and we feel a great value for what you get. It's a loud space, but that only adds to the authenticity from my experience. I must share that it makes me laugh when other locals (I'm local to NB for all my life) talk about this food not being good Italian. I've spent ample time in Italy and can tell you it's very authentic, as is the service. Let's keep in mind the owners are from Italy, so let's stop with the silly rhetoric of folks pretending to be Italian food experts based on their experience at different Olive Gardens. :) Thanks for great food and service every time we visit! I have only had this place via takeout, the first time was End of March when things were bad and the food was so-so for me, but then I tried it again and this time was really good! I got the Chicken Verona because I couldnt find any pics but it sounded great! This has a ton of flavor, very lemon and Capers forward, chicken is well seasoned so its a great bite everytime. Their garlic knots this time were way better and that probably has something to do with business being a lot better! My wife loves their Chicken Alfredo as well and said its been great both times.
