This baked selection also comes with soup or salad. My partner had the baked ziti and rhoroughly enjoyed it. What makes Italian food scrumptious in my opinion is having a great sauce that allows you to taste the ingredients and not be over come with too much salt or other spice. I love their Chicken Parmigiana!! The funny thing is that I did not always like their sauce but I love it now. I was able to get it with vegetables instead of pasta which helps if you are doing weight watchers. I love their chicken soup too! One way to tell how good a soup is, at least for me, is if I would want it when I was sick. And this is one!! The only drawback is the room is loud. This is a cute little Italian restaurant. The parking lot is always full so you know the food is good and they have a pretty expansive dining room. This place is close to my boyfriend's house so it's convenient to pick up on the way for a carry out experience. They are fast and efficient on pick up orders. The garlic bread is amazing and their spaghetti and meatballs is to die for. The sauce is homemade and fresh and the meatballs are pretty good size. read more

Imagine a restaurant quiet enough to talk - with good food. I have been there twice, the first was a 5 star lunch experience in every way and I actually felt concern there was too few clientele. I eagerly scheduled a birthday dinner with a few neighbors. Okay so this spot is consistently good! Ordered take out and dined in person since the last time I reviewed. Ordered the linguine and clams for take out and it was a bit soggy but it happens with take out. My boyfriend got the lobster ravioli and it was delicious but a bit too decadent. When we went in person last week, I got the ziti pomodore and he got the surf and turf (not sure if it is a menu item but it was written on a little chalk board when we walked in). The ziti was very flavorful although I wish it had a bit more veggies. The steak in the surf and turf was seasoned and cooked perfectly (ordered medium) and the shrimp were yummy too. Came here because it's my friend's favorite Italian restaurant. I was skeptical since I have yet to find a good Italian place in San Antonio. I had given up the search. We were immensely seated by the friendly staff when we walked in. The waitress was happy to share recommendations and explain the menu. I opted for the Chicken Florentine, my friends got the Eggplant Parmesan, Shrimp FraDiablo, and another Chicken Florentine. It comes with a side salad that three of us upgraded to the Noli salad. The salad was delicious with plenty of fresh ingredients. The garlic bread was fluffy and flavorful too. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals and the service. Every dish was balanced and the servings were a good size. By the time we left the restaurant was almost full of customers. I can see the appeal and why it was my friend's favorite. Usually, Noli's has very good tasty food. Last night we ordered Chicken Piccata and some fried calamari. It was pretty bad. The chicken was hard and chewy with grill marks, it was placed on top of al dente spaghetti covered in a caper sauce. The sauce was not balanced and had too much caper brine and a lot of giant capers. The calamari breading had too much seasoning and not the usual texture characteristics of fried calamari. This was our first time eating at Noli's Vite. It was a wonderful experience. The food was so good and very fast seating and service. Our server, Melina was the best! We will be asking for her next time we eat there, which I hope will be soon. The food came out piping hot too and the leftovers for lunch today were yummy! Do NOT judge a book by its cover! The outside architecture is nothing terribly exciting but just get inside! My first time here and let me say, the moment the lightly covered, delicate pasta entered my mouth, the flavors pounced all over and a smile was thrown onto my face. We were passing through new Braunfels and we're looking for a good place to eat. This restaurant had good reviews and sounded like they had a nice menu so we decided to stop here. We were met at the door by friendly folks and showing to do a table on the patio which was covered and quite pleasant. Our server, Helena, brought garlic knots made with yeast bread and a side of olive oil seasoned with herbs and garlic - these were delicious and complementary. We decided to forgo the lunch menu, although it looked excellent and a good deal, and share a salad and Stromboli. We ordered the Noli's salad, which was like a Greek salad with a garlic vinaigrette. We also ordered a vegetable Stromboli with pepperoni added. They brought our drinks (perfectly brewed iced tea), and more garlic knots followed by our salad soon after. They made sure to bring extra plates since we were sharing, which was a nice touch. The salad was delicious; very fresh with feta cheese, tomatoes, black olives, and mushrooms in a lightly dressed but slightly spicy vinaigrette. Helena return frequently despite the fact that we were outside on the patio and kept our drinks refilled and our table bussed. When they brought out our Stromboli, it was deliciously golden brown, and they brought along an extra side of marinara as requested. We loved the Stromboli! The encasing bread was fluffy and tasty and the filling was fresh and flavorful, full of veggies and pepperoni and cheese. (We happened to see another patron's order of pizza, which was gigantic, and which he was eating by himself. He said this was the small pizza and that he could normally finish it himself.) It took me a few tries here. When they first opened, they would pack everyone in-it was new. The food was rushed out and I remember seeing several plates going back to be remade. So I wasn't sold. Then we tied them again during the Covid times when it was pick up only and that's when my eyes opened. Chicken parm was amazing. They gave us many garlic knots. We have visited them multiple times since and never had a problem. Hubs loves the lasagna. Alfredo is delicious too. The sauce isn't Olive Garden salty but more of a sweet taste-it is a little different but I love it. They've grown in a positive way over the years. Order the cheesecake. read more

We have been a regular since Noli's opened and have always had a wonderful quality meal with their wonderful staff. However, I can only guess they changed their chef or cooks or something because the last two meals we've had the quality of the food has gone downhill. The first time I assumed it was just a bad night, but when I went again I reordered the same meal and was met with the same lack of quality. Mussels were over cooked and rubbery, my veal piccata was lumpy and soggy and they must have poured a full jar of capers on it - more is not necessarily better! Very disappointed. So nice to find this small Italian restaurant buried in the newer areas of new braunfels. We were greeted warmly and promptly seated. It was a hot sunny afternoon and the staff showed great concern for our comfort, closing blinds everywhere to endure it wasn't blinding. Our waiter was super nice and helpful and extremely attentive all evening - even as he had increasing number of tables to tend to. Three of us enjoyed various items including two chicken dishes - Marsala and a sautéed savory chicken with salads (two ceAsar and one Italian), meatballs and their lovely bread. Tried this place for the first time tonight and my boyfriend and I were very impressed. At first we did have to wait for our waiter for a bit but the manager helped us out after we were waiting for a few minutes. After that the service was better. The manager was helping out all over the restaurant and did an amazing job helping us. The food had a lot of flavor and tasted really authentic. We started off with the calamari and bread which was so delicious. The house dressing is a tomato basil which was very different but tasty. I ordered the Salmon Verona and my boyfriend had the ribeye with pasta. The portions were big and we even had enough to take home as well. The food came out fairly quickly as well. The service is very poor. I ordered Christmas dinner for my dad who doesn't get around very well. He went to pick up dinner and they brought all the food out. But, wouldn't give him the tray of pasta because they said it was someone else's. Well it turned out to be his food and he had to drive 20 minutes back because of their mess up. They should have given him something for the mix up or some sort of compensation. Nothing !! The food was so so at best and the calamari wasn't fresh. Came for a lunch with my team from work. We were seated really fast and the waitress was very good. I'd recommend as a place to go for an above average version of a pasta place. It started off with some very good garlic rolls with nice herbed olive oil. Loved that. Ordered the Pasta Sampler lunch special with the chicken noodle soup. Noodle soup was very flavorful and well done. The miss for me was the pasta sampler. Many years ago my jaw was wired shut when I broke it. I had to purée everything for three months. I quickly learned that Chef Boyardee was the same whether it was Raviolios, Soaghettios, Noodle-olios or whatever once purées. This sampler was like that! All three were lumped in a dish with the same pasta flavor, covered with the same cheese, wrapped around the same cheese. One chunk of sameness. Nutritional but not entertaining or unique in pasta. I waited to write this post cause I ended leaving something behind and maybe retrieving it would soften my opinion of this place but I was wrong. First let's start with the food. It's ok, differently better options out there if you're willing to travel outside of NB. The bread thou was the highlight of the meal and was really good. So going back to leaving something behind. I had gone back to see if I left an item two days later around the same time I had dinner. The host immediately remembered me and that I did leave something behind. She checked behind the counter and it wasn't there and then ask a co-worker who said items left behind would be in the managers office. However the office was lock because they weren't there. She took my name and number and said they would call. Fast forward a few days and no call so I decided to stop in again. It was a different host but the manager was there. Told them the situation, they went back I assume to check the office and said it wasn't there. I didn't want to make a big deal but it kinda sat with me... cause when I had stopped in the first time the host was pretty sure they had it. This just tells me that some people working there are not that trustworthy or ethical. So if you can't trust people at a restaurant, what else are they doing... it just made me wonder. read more
