Highly recommend Nolita. I had to order the crawfish bread. As expected, it was delish. A bit heavy for me in the morning. The croissants were artfully presented. I haven't seen croissants with such fluff and flair since Paris. Of course, I bought the almond, pistachio and pain au chocolat croissants. Martha, the baker owner, is so welcoming. The cafe bakery is cute. Loved the yellow decor and the simple menu adds to the elegance of the place. read more

I tried my hand at ordering a birthday cake from Nolita, and I'm so glad that I did! The process for ordering is simple: I filled out an online interest form and was subsequently contacted via email about all fine details/questions. I went with a 2-layer sheet cake (vanilla and amaretto) with fresh strawberry filling and a buttercream frosting. The fresh flower accents added the perfect touch of class. All of our guests loved the cake and asked for pieces to take home (and there was definitely enough! This size is 10in feeds 18-30). My mom was extremely pleased with her cake! I can't wait to visit again to try pastries and other individualized desserts. read more

This is the cutest little neighborhood bakery you ever want. The staff is great and the owner is always in there baking away and greeting customers. At this point I've had just about everything they make outside of some seasonal specialties. Their butter biscuits amazing, boudin pastry I could eat every day, croissants take your pick savory or sweet all good. They even have really good to go sandwiches. Usually something like chicken salad or a turkey and pimento cheese just grab right out the little fridge and you have your breakfast and lunch for the day. read more

I had the Butter biscuit and a crawfish bread. Both were delicious and ginormous. I brought half of each home to share with my sweet honey. She loved 'em too. Melt in your mouth chewy goodness. Martha was very helpful in my selections and went the extra mile in terms of service. My friend and I ate outside in the spacious courtyard. Very nice. I can't wait to return. Oh, and my friend had the boudin pastry (I forgot what they called it) and this lemon blueberry biscuit that looked amazing. read more

I am so happy to have this super cute bakery down the street from us. A quick walk and I can get the coffee I need to become a human being and delicious baked goods. The crawfish bread that they had during festival season was out of this world and for the first time I had sausage gravy inside a biscuit. Their honey butter biscuits are huge and delicious and they have a cooler where you can get some premade sandwiches for a hectic day. I've enjoyed everything I've tried there and we've even preordered our Christmas dessert from them! read more

Stopped into Nolita for a quick pastry and coffee on a Sunday morning. It's definitely a bakery, not a coffee shop as they only have basic coffee with cream/milk and simple syrup. No espresso or flavors, but that's fine. All of the pastries looked delish: After asking for a suggestion from the owner who was behind the counter, I decided to go with the cheesecake danish. The dough was soft and flaky. The cheesecake filling was thick, but not too sweet. Very solid pastry. There's a really cute patio with tables and chairs on the side of the building and there's seating inside. Overall, a very cute neighborhood bakery. Perfect stop on a morning walk or cheery location to bring in your laptop and get some work done. Friendly service and you can see a bit of the kitchen, so it was nice to see a small business owner who obviously loves their craft and decided to open their own business. read more

Small case but filled with goodies. Personnel were super friendly and helpful. They have an espresso machine and a few pre-made syrups. There is a little side cooler with some cake slices, small cakes for $20, chicken salad, and chicken salad sandwiches. There's a fairly large turf outdoor space, and they indicated that dogs were welcome. Great mix of sweet and savory options! The chocolate cake slice was delicious! Super super moist and loved the icing! The carrot cake was also super moist, but I do wish the flavors were a bit more amped up. read more

I'm in NOLA for Labor Day weekend and I'm soooo glad we were able to swing by. Upon entry we were greeted, the smells were amazing, and the atmosphere was super chill and welcoming. I absolutely love blueberry muffins, and they had fresh ones ready to eat. It was called Blueberry Extravaganza, and man was this muffin bomb!! So moist, sugary crystals on top, and such a great flavor. Martha, you and your team are awesome!! 10/10 My dad and Martha's dad grew up together. Martha and I have a bit of a similar history, and I've heard a lot about her. It was so nice to meet her and be at her bakery! Thanks Martha and can't wait to see you again! read more

The bakery items here are out of this world. But I think I'd keep coming back even if they weren't because the staff are some of the most bright and friendly people I've ever met. Martha and Blake are all around great humans. Highly recommend the honey butter biscuits, blueberry muffins, and chocolate chip cookies. read more

A slice of Nolita focaccia pizza is HEAVEN! Just to walk into the bakery aroma is worth the trip.

Got croissants today but they were not flakey, almost stale tasting. And they were shaped like cinnamon buns. I've gotten other pastries and overall they are mediocre. read more

I ordered a birthday cake and it was outstanding! Usually I have 1/4 - 1/3 of birthday cakes left over. This one was so popular that at the end of the party, I only had a few small slices to take home. The staff provided great service and communication and the cake was flawless. Great little bakery. And the focaccia pizza on Fridays is everything!!! Just be careful the crawfish bread was completely raw inside. I think they sell baked and parbaked options, I could be wrong but maybe I ended up with a parbaked one. Great place though and friendly staff. read more
