Nona is my favorite location in the otherwise underwhelming and disappointing Promenade Food Hall! I visited the Fontainebleau's new Promenade Food Hall to try something from each of the food spots there as part of a video, and found Nona to be the best spot here - BY FAR! I placed my order online using the QR codes they have throughout the space and it was ready almost right away! I decided to try out The Bird for $16, and wasn't disappointed in the slightest! Upon receiving my sandwich, I found it to be a very hefty, generous size - easily enough for two people or to save as a second meal later in the day. It was also very delicious - well proportioned when it came to the deli meats in conjunction with the lettuce and other fresh toppings. Needless to say, I was very impressed with its size, taste, and quality! If you visit the Promenade Food Hall at Fontainebleau, I highly recommend stopping by Nona's! They offered me free chips to accommodate the 40 minute wait time. Not sure why it takes so long to make an Italian Sub, but if time is worth your money, I'd look elsewhere. I'm not sure if the meatballs were housemade but they definitely could have been. Fresh mozzarella, the crunchy roll and a cup of warm marinara made for quite a delight. I deconstructed my half a little, eating some of the meatball with a fork which worked to keep me from getting sauce down the front of my new white shirt. Now, I will not lie...the price for just a Muffy Witson sandwich was rather steep, and it doesn't include any sides nor a pickle spear. When I first got my sandwich, I was rather disappointed. The flavor just wasn't quite there for me. HOWEVER, I asked the chef for another side of their creamy horseradish sauce/spread. This completely changed the game for me, and I would hands down get this expensive sandwich again because it was truly the most divine deli sandwich I've had out here in Las Vegas!!! Additionally, Brandon (cashier who assisted me) was extremely pleasant and very helpful. He answered all my questions and made sure everything met my expectations. Fantastic service served with a smile--love to see it as a solo diner--thanks for making me feel welcome! The decor is also very cozy and aesthetically pleasing. Comfy seats and I loved how the tables are close to greenery/plants. Lastly, I know my review mentioned some marks that were missed BUT it was opening week and of course they're still ironing things out. Quite a sandwich for the money - tasty, well structured and heavily laden with the good stuff. Counter service is professional and food comes out quick; bussers roaming the Promenade food court make short work of anything that needs doing. The counter showcasing homestyle sandwich rolls, cookies, and salads gave a sense of the fresh quality I was craving. The chalkboard menu signs also provided a friendly and welcoming neighborhood cafe vibe. I settled on trying "the bird" sandwich and it was pleasantly less "basic" than I was expecting. To distinguish and elevate it from a turkey blt club you might find at another sandwich shop, they've added slices of soft brie cheese, pickled red onions, and sweet spicy peppers that gave it a pleasant range of flavors. I also like that it came in a uniquely designed carrier box as if you were getting a gift. While there wasn't the biggest variety of options and the price range is a bit higher that anticipated, I would give the place another visit during future trips! read more

Before I even tried the food, I knew I would come back here because of the staff. We are Vegas locals and wanted to check out the new promenade at the fountain blue. My husband and I were simply reading the menu when I realized I lost an earring , and the lovely lady Shannon, behind the counter, insisted on coming out and helping me search for it. Sadly, we didn't find it. But we decided to order food there and Shannon was again, wonderful and helpful. The food was good, but the service was top notch! Some tall lady with some glasses, what a ridiculous attitude for no reason! You can tell she's insincere and the tone of voice is unnatural, like she gets upset when players pay with their players card and sighs so deep that the queue line can hear. She doesn't know how to treat loyal casino players!! God, I cant explain how terrible of an experience this is, I was better off going to capons burgers where they're more friendly. Refused to change gloves upon request. Saw staff use the dirty gloves after touching dirty counter and register to make the sandwich. I would love to come back for the Tri-tip dip again! Ingredients are fresh and not like your typical deli shop! Second time visiting here in Las Vegas. I've always loved Nonas. It always gave me a sense on home feeling when I'm here with the food being house made is absolutely nice. What left me baffled and disappointed is with the service this time around. Food was great as it was the first time specially made by Yolanda but I'd like to address a woman named Shannon, she seemed to have attitude issues and staring problems with customers? I believe that a key to a good customer service is to have great hospitality and I think she's in the wrong profession. I could go on. Shes not hospitable and friendly. But also if she can't help her team and just stand around with blank face staring at people up-down and hands on her hips while the whole team moves. She simply can't deliver basic hospitality. After eating the delicious sandwich "The Bird" -which had thin shaved fresh not processed turkey breast, sweet and spicy jalapeños , pickled onions, Brie , greens on an in house baked then grilled roll I was thankful to have one more day in town to go back and try another sandwich. We ended up trying the "Spicy bird" - hot chicken Milanese ( generous portion of thin pounded breaded chicken breast filet- not processed) with Peruvian Aoli Verdi , sweet and spicy jalapeños ,delicious slaw on that great fresh roll. I can't tell you which I liked better but I can say I've never had a sandwich made with such care and pride and yes love- that you can taste. Unique flavor combinations that you are not likely to find anywhere else. There fresh pressed juice - we had carrot, orange ginger - delicious over ice. Side broccoli salad was very good and packed with cashews and cheddar cheese- we added the Peruvian aoli verde sauce to make it spicy but it's quite good as it comes. Outstanding customer service - first visit Allysa and Yolanda, second visit Maricon and Yolanda. They are friendly and caring and proud of their food- as they should be.
