A new family owned restaurant has opened in West Bradenton. Previous restaurant relocated and has been replaced within past 2 weeks. We were pleasantly surprised to see "a taste of Sicily" because we love thick crust pizza. (They also make thinner round). Our pizza was perfectly baked and loaded with sausage, onions and olives as requested. Oh sooo good! We did take out, but will try something else next visit. Menu includes typical appetizers, salads, Italian sandwiches and dinner entrees. Stop by and give them a try. Always happy to support hard working family business in Bradenton. read more

Horrible service, placed an order through Uber and was told it would be ready in under an hour, 2 hours later (10 minutes before close mind you) they hang up on my wife twice, then tell her it's being handed to the driver as we speak, the whole time I'm on a line that was answered and set on the counter. the driver calls us 10 minutes later to inform us the food is still not ready. We call to speak to a manager and guess what? The lady that lied about the order being on the way and who hung up on us both twice WAS the manager. They give some crappy speech on being a small operation that takes pride in being fresh or whatever but I expect fresh food, not a fresh attitude when I'm trying to figure out why my kids didn't have their dinner an hour ago. All of that and when the food showed up it wasn't very good at all, the pizza was burnt and everything else was just greasy and bland. read more

I'm on the fence here. I ordered dinner for my family one night. Placed the order at 7:30 through Uber eats, I was told it'd be ready by 8. Called the restaurant to verify, she informed me it would be more like 8:15 because they were backed up. Went at that time to pick up my food, when I went in and gave my name, the woman at the front went back to check on my food and I could hear a string of f bombs and other choice words coming from the kitchen. Yikes. The woman came back out and informed me it would be another 15-20 mins and asked if I'd like to wait, I said yes because I had already paid for it when I ordered. She told me I could wait in my car and they'd bring it out. 20 mins goes by, no one has come out, so I go in.. at this time there was about 6 other people in there waiting for their food (there was absolutely no one actually eating in the restaurant). I didn't receive my order until 8:50- an hour and 20 mins after I ordered it! She did give me an added order of French fries free of charge, but it was a crazy long wait. The food was good, though. So- I MAY try it again to see if the wait times have improved. However, none of the staff wear masks and that is a bit concerning for me. read more

Excessive wait times, poor customer service and having to wait for my order while it's sitting in the kitchen getting cold during the last visit is just not normal for a dining establishment. We were visiting Coquina Beach and found this restaurant. My son has food allergies and it's hard to find a great place to eat. The owner answered, was super knowledgeable and generous with her time and portions. We were a big party and we were never rushed out. The food was outstanding. So fresh! Margarita pizza was the absolute best! The owner was so gracious and lovely! We will be making the 1.5 hr drive back. So worth it! read more

Had a wonderful meal waiting on us for dine in. We called ahead with an order. Excellent eggplant app with delicious Italian salad followed by an authentic Italian thin crust pizza. Not sure about this pizza. No t enough sauce or cheese. The vegetables were very crunchy. We came home after waiting 25 minutes for a scheduled pick up and put extra sauce snd cheese on it our selves She told me the wait was due to hand graded cheese. I don't get it. We ordered food for pick up at 5:45pm and was told to arrive at 6:45pm. Walked out with my food at 7:25pm. You need organization, a bigger kitchen, manners and maybe a nanny to watch those kids. Many people came in to pick up and/or order and cancelled their orders due to wait time. How does a pizzeria run out of sicilian dough? Won't be going there anymore. If I could give it 0 stars I would! Placed order at 6:30 and was told would be done at 7:30. Received email changing time to 7:50. So we showed up at 7:45 and my husband went in. He didn't come out until 8:45! Me and my kids were in the car the whole time wondering what was taking so long! Was the pizza worth the two hour wait? Nope! It was very bland and not worth the money! We were looking for pizza are usual spot had closed. Saw Nanna's and thought well let's try it. It was fantastic the pizza was full of high-quality cheese and pepperoni and mushrooms which is what we ordered. When we got to the table I was so hungry it looked so good I took a piece before I took my picture, sorry couldn't wait. It was all it appeared to be would highly recommend. We've been trying to order from different places recently and we came across this place. We ordered takeout on 7/4/20 it took a little longer than expected but they had so many to go orders, they offered us drinks while we waited. The food was delicious! We ordered the following: meatball Parmesan sub, baked ziti, garlic knots, pizza, calzones and for dessert zeppoles which I hadn't had with chocolate syrup before but they were good, I grew up on the Jersey Shore and zeppoles are a staple on the Boardwalks. We will definitely be ordering from here again and hopefully one day we will feel safer dining in house. read more

I am very displeased with the space they stole $25 from me on Christmas Eve when I ordered a pizza at 8:20 p.m. if not earlier and all the sudden I get a call from GrubHub saying that they did not deliver my pizza that it was late. And they don't have my food and I'm sitting here waiting for a pizza to be delivered and Nonna's Pizza screwed up. They stole my money and I have no food delivered. Entire staff having a grand old time on Snapchat behind counter while waiting on refills, box, check, my debit card. Was charged $1.50 for a glass of tap water , also charged for not paying in cash ( non cash adjustment as they call it) Cheese in the Stromboli not even melted . Every action took 5x as long as it should have, no sense of urgency. Slow service despite being the only table. Watched 3 people come in saying they are there for pick up and every one of them were told 15-20 more mins. Owner trash talks anyone who writes a bad review as well... read more
