There was some good, and there was some bad. The service was very nice, I did like the personality of the staff, here. The mac n cheese was phenomenal. I was also quite fond of my blackened catfish. However, I found the veggies with it to be pretty greasy/overly oily. My boyfriend got the beef stroganoff, and it was extremely salty. My best friend got the hot sausage po boy with mashed potatoes. It was excessivly expensive for what she got. The bread was a bit dried out, and it was the smallest scoop of potatoes ever. Said potatoes were grossly drenched in butter/oil, not really edible. Loved NoNo's Cafe! The staff were all so friendly and kind. We had Crabmeat Au Gratin for an appetizer. When it came we had no idea how we were supposed to eat it but our darling waitress explained it to us...and it was delicious!! I had the Stroganoff and it was so good! So much food!! We came here on a double dinner date last night. It's so important to us to support local as much as possible right now. Let me tell you, we were blown away! My soul and tummy were fully satisfied. Everything we had was perfect and mouth watering good! Between the BBQ shrimp, blackened catfish, Mac and cheese. Holy moly!!! The atmosphere is precious and the service is hands down the best we've had upon moving to Colorado 3 years ago! It was so warm and loving. I wish I could give this place 10 stars! The one and only slight complaint I would have is the drinks, bartender needs to step up her game some and they'd be perfect! This is my new favorite place. We were in town visiting the area for the week and NoNo's was right next to our hotel. We went in for dinner on our first night in town and the food was just ok. We went in for breakfast on our way back to the airport on a Thursday and when we looked at the menu, we noticed it was their lunch menu. Wow this by far was the best trip here! The food was aMazing and tasted out of this world. We had the NoNo's Best Burrito and The Big Easy Burrito. Both were phenomenal and tasted so good. The sauce on both were great and really tied them together. Both burritos had a ton of filling as well as the sauce. I have always loved this place but wow today was the best trip ever. I have Celiac disease and went to NoNo's for dinner last night because my Dad had dined there and found that they had a pretty extensive gluten free menu....It did not disappoint! I got to have HOT, DELICIOUS French bread at the table to start! (Normally, I have to watch others eating bread at the table and try to keep all the jealousy and rage that I feel from spewing out of my mouth.) It says on the menu that they serve gluten free/dairy free breads from a Denver-based company called The Gluten Free Explorer. It was sooooo good! A nice chewy crust on the outside, and warm and soft on the inside, just like regular bread! And it came with a tasty dipping sauce, vinegary and zesty. For my meal, I ordered the Blackened Catfish Sandwich (yes, even more of that delicious bread!) Everything was really good and the server was very nice. My dad got the steak and he says it's one of the best he's ever had. I'll definitely be back here, it's added to my very short list of safe restaurants to eat at. YesYes! To NoNo's! read more

I have been going to NoNo's since before they moved to the County Line location, but today for lunch was the last time. My guest and I both ordered the catfish po-boy. They came with bread barely large enough to contain a small hot dog. We ate most of the sandwiches with a fork, which sort of defeats the purpose. When I commented on the bread when the waitress brought our check, she said that "the bread was a lot bigger when it was fresh". Over the years NoNo's quality has gone down as the prices have gone up. I believe in 2nd chances, but this was at least the 2nd chance. read more

I love the cooking at NoNo's Cafe. It reminds me of living in New Orleans and tasting all of the delicious food there and falling in love with it. They have so many of the popular southern dishes. I decided to try the beef stroganoff for my meal and I shared the spicy peel and eat shrimp served with French bread for dipping into the red sauce left over on the plate. Everything was so delicious with a glass of red wine. I had plenty leftover to take home with me for dinner. The decor is nice in the dining room and the outside screened in patio reminded me of the restaurants in the South. My wife and myself always enjoyed this place for a special occasion. It's always wonderful food and service in a nice but lower key atmosphere. We had the opportunity to set up a 20 person dinner and decided on NoNo's even though we only had tried a few things there. Let me tell you it seemed everyone was blown away with how wonderful there food was! I heard, the best I ever had statement for several dishes! And the service was second to none. We do this one time a month and many times service for this large number of customers is nonexistent. Thanks for your always excellent experience!! Five stars! I wasn't sure I could find legitimate Creole/Cajun cuisine in Denver, but I was dead wrong. I came here on my brother's recommendation and it was amazing! Ordered delivery and got the wrong bag. The chit sheet I got on the bag I received was for my order, but the contents were wrong. Called Nono's, they passed the buck and blamed the delivery driver and said there was nothing they could do. The food we got was good though, it just wasn't ours, and Nono's wasn't interested in making it right. I decided to go with some friends because it was not only convenient, but also came highly recommended. It surpassed expectations with its lively New Orleans decor and mouth-watering down south style cooking. My friend and I got the shepherd's pie, his wife got the beef stroganoff. They had each a slice of strawberry and chocolate cake, while I (being gluten-free) resorted to a liquid dessert with their bourbon milk punch, which is basically like a white Russian but with bourbon. It has a nice ambiance to it, with lots of New Orleans decorations and great outside seating with views of the front range.
