What a great spot! Put in a large takeout order for Christmas Day, and it was ready for pick-up in twenty minutes. I was already impressed by the variety of gluten free options they offered on the menu, and when we went to pick things up they had put the gluten-free food in a separate bag and checked with me a couple of times to be sure I knew which was which. I had ordered one dish (the sesame chicken, which was delicious), specifically as gluten-free, but they sorted out and labeled all the other food in the order that didn't contain gluten, which was a great option for sharing and knowing what I could sample from family member's plates! Really glad about the way they handle sensitivities and allergies, since I've had some very bad experiences with restaurants around that. The person who took the order and gave us the food was super helpful and on top of things--there were no errors in the order, and we appreciated the bonus fortune cookies (and oolong tea) we received, too. Didn't get a chance to dine in this time, but the ambience when we popped in to pick the order was very nice and I'd love to get a chance to have a meal there in the near future. Pretty good authentic food! I got the wonton soup and short ribs! My sister got kang pao chicken and her BF sesame chicken! Both chicken dishes were a 5/6 as was the wonton soup! I think my problem with the short ribs is that they didn't have a lot of meat on them, mostly fat and so it was very rich. For almost $30 I would've liked more meat! I enjoyed everything we ordered but I will say that everything was a bit too oily in my opinion. That's the only reason I took off one star. Otherwise everything was really good. My favorite out of what I ordered was the fried pork dumplings. The mushroom spring rolls were good. The chicken lo mein was delicious and probably the least oily/greasy of it all. I enjoyed roti canai for the first time in my life and it was definitely interesting. The flavors in the dipping sauce were good but the dough was super oily. I'm not sure if that's how it's supposed to be but either way it was still delicious. I will order again but maybe order "healthier options". read more

Meaning it wasn't weighted down in excess salt or sauce, flavors stood out. Loved the clear broth of the soup. Rice noodles with shrimp was delicious. Understated but lots of flavor. Service was very good. Professional, polite, patient with our indecisiveness too. Will be going back. My only critique is there is no music playing, no background noise. We ordered the crispy duck, xiao long bao, zha jiang mein, braised beef noodle, and spring rolls. All of this was ready for pickup in 15-20 mins. Overall, it's not worth the price, I've definitely had better, and we couldn't finish the food because it was so unappetizing. We felt a bit sick and tired after eating it. We wish we didn't spend my money here. Crispy duck The duck was extremely dry and unappetizing. There was still a lot of fat on it. Also, it was far from crispy. It tasted like they made it a couple of days ago and just heated it up. I felt like I could cook a better version at home. I wish they served peking duck like it states on the menu. Xiao long bao The dumpling dough was very thick and tasted very doughy. There was barely any soup in it. Zha jiang mein The dish lacked flavor. Very flat taste. Braised beef noodle - Chinese flavored beef stew The menu says that it's a stew, but I got dry noodles with a little bit of sauce with 6 fatty pieces of beef on top. Definitely not worth it. Spring rolls - shrimp They were okay. A bit oily, but it's difficult to make a spring roll bad. Will not try this restaurant again. read more

A cozy family restaurant and looks clean and has good lighting. Good parking as well. This place feels more for like a relaxing one on one date or family dinner. The food portion was appropriate with the price and good. I've been here plenty of times since their opening and it's always been excellent. Plenty of vegan options here and they will also customize dishes to be vegan if they aren't already. We tried this place after seeing rave reviews in Facebook. The ambience was good and the service was fine too. But the food was not disappointing .we are scallion pancakes, Dan Dan noodles , sesame chicken and crispy spicy chicken. Scallion pancakes were good but some parts were not cooked all the way. Dan Dan noodles, lacked flavor. Sesame chicken tasted good but chicken pieces were hard. And the worst dish was the crispy spicy chicken which had a pungent taste that we could not eat at all. We tried one piece of that chicken and could not eat any more, we asked the staff about it and he said they have added some spices and I think he did not understand what we were trying to say. I usually get my Chinese food from Pei Wei but I had to try the new place in town. I had shrimp lo mein which was delicious. The flavors were good and fresh and it was a good portion. I also had a scallion pancake which I won't order again, the flavor was just ok and it was EXTREMELY hard and dry. Wish I could give this restaurant 5 stars, because the service was exceptionally good. However, I ordered soup with broth and shrimp balls, and it was much too salty for my taste. But my main complaint is about the music. My mom and I happened to come to this restaurant because another local chain was too busy. The accidental choice was great! The Mongolian beef was perfectly cooked and seasoned just right - so much better than your standard neighborhood Asian restaurant. We also ordered the kimchi noodles which were just the right amount of spice. The vibe and ambiance are quiet and relaxing. The decor is subtle and industrial-like but stands out nicely. I came back from a month-long trip in South Korea and can honestly say this food is great. Hopefully, this restaurant will last longer than some of the other restaurants have. read more

This is probably the best Chinese restaurant in this area. It's not what you would expect from a typical American Chinese takeout, but I really enjoy the food here. Some of my favorite dishes will be listed in this review. I'll be in here at least 10 times. For those who love spice, especially the numbing type, I highly recommend the beef with Napa cabbage. The beef is super tender, and the cabbage is delicious. I love the cilantro and garlic on top as well. This dish is definitely my favorite out of everything and I give it a 10 out of 10, it never disappoints. The Kung pow chicken is probably my second favorite dish. I love how tender the little cubes of chicken are, and the way the sauce and peanuts are done. This is also a spicy dish and it is super satisfying, this is also another 10 out of 10 for me. My third favorite dish is the lamb shank. It also comes with bok choy on the side and a lovely cumin sauce. The lamb shank is always super tender, and pears really well with the bok choy. The dish is less spicy than the previous two mention but also has a little bit of a punch. Anyone who loves lamb needs to try this. I'd say the fried rice and a lot of the appetizers may be on par with other Chinese restaurants in the area, but if you do get the fried rice, try it with the sausage, it's a different experience in a very good way. The shrimp pearl soup is great for those who love a savory and satisfying soup. I also really like the lo mein dish is here. I will see if you haven't tried this restaurant yet, definitely try the dishes recommended. You will not be disappointed read more

If your looking for fresh soft dumplings this is the place to come to. My first time here I can say that their food focus is freshness. Quantity is smaller but better quality. I liked their walnut shrimp and thin dumplings. Pricing is good too. Like any place I go to I like to pick and choose certain dishes that I like but by far I can say their walnut shrimp is good and thin wrap dumplings very fresh. Other places I've been to it's wayyy to chewy. I've had a few other dishes but these are my favorites so far will come back to try other ones.
