This is my large chicken yakisoba. I just took the lid off. It's so dry. There's no sauce on it. No chicken in it just noodles.

Very disappointed this place used to be awesome. It's going downhill I ordered two chicken was supposed to be double chicken yakisoba. Mine is all noodles and my husband's that's double chicken has four pieces of chicken in it. It's ridiculous $41 and not happy with. I never complain nor do I post but it's happened the last few times this place is going downhill fast. It's sad because I don't live far from here and I'm driving all the way to the Valley for now on to get my chicken yakisoba.

Slaw didn't even make it half way up the bowl. They told us slaw is a veggie and costs more.

We were charged extra for slaw instead of rice and the bowl wasn't even 1/2 full. Over $10 for this. Absolutely disappointing. Do better. We were told slaw is a vegetable and costs more....slaw.

This place has great food! The teriyaki chicken is delicious and the cucumber salad goes well with it. I feel healthy eating here instead of other fast food places. And, the price is reasonable for me: about $10 for a regular size bowl. The people working here seem enthusiastic and kind. The music is chill and not too obnoxious. Great place! I'd like to visit here again!

We ordered 2 yakasobas. One was supposed to have 4x hot and 2x the meat. They tasted fresh, but mostly noodles and very little vegetables. There was no extra heat and could not tell the difference in meat. The biggest thing is when you think teriyaki you think flavor. These had none. Clean and nice places to sit. They did have lemon water which I appreciate.

Wasn't sure how this would go as they are newly opened (less than a week) but they had everything in order. The restaurant was clean and the employees were friendly. The food is what you would expect from any of the Noodle Express locations. I feel like you get a decent amount of food for the price and it was very good as well. I work close by so I'll likely be back sooner than later.

Here's my experience. Went in yesterday, first time, wanted to check it out. There are two tills, one girl has a line, I wait, no problem. I don't mind. 2nd girl comes to the 2nd till, calls me up, "Can I help you?" I reply, "It's my first time here" as I'm about to ask about an item on the menu, she takes a call. Like that! Nothing! She continues to talk on the phone. What?! Wow! Ok I figured she's not coming back, so I go back to the 1st line and wait my turn. By the way 2nd line girl never came back. Saw her minutes later eating behind me as I waited for my food :/ Ordered 2 items and 2 appetizers, yakisoba and sweet sour chicken. Got it all to go. When I got to my destination, I find they forgot 1 of my appetizers. Food: Not so good Appetizer: Rangoon's were ok Service: Horrible!!! Since they've only been opened for 2 weeks. I'll chalk it up to "working out the kinks" but you can't change flavor or the food. Note: To management, if the call she took was business related, she could have excused herself said as much, but she never let on, so I have no idea... or she could have placed caller on hold.

Ordered online for a teriyaki chicken rice bowl. Got home and noticed it was beef instead. Teriyaki beef and Asian slaw was tasteless.

Amazing!!!!!! This review is long overdue…read more True hidden gem of a restaurant. I am from the Tri cities and when I come I head directly here. The wings are out of this world. The fried rice is sooo good. I ordered with Shrimp and it was just yummy. And to top it off I would be remiss if I didn't mention the Indonesian dessert -Banana Lumpia. Not a big banana guy but trust me you will love it. I've been begging the owner who is so nice and so positive to come down to the Tri cities. Also their Pho is what I usually get but now with the fried rice. It is now my favorite dish.

Okay for the prices I was expecting great portions but they were just not there…read more We got two starters, bao buns and the lucky budda rolls. The lucky budda rolls were delicious! It was vegetables and herbs and pork wrapped in rice paper. It was really refreshing and the sauces; peanut, sambal, and chili were so good! But they were 14 dollars and barely had any pork... The bao buns were good, the pork belly being really great. The bun itself was not great, but the sauce in the bao made up for it. But it was 12 DOLLARS for TWO small sized bao buns! The kalbi was tender and really nicely charred. The flavors were nice with a sweetness that paired well with the smoky flavor and was probably the best dish over all. The bombay chicken also had a really nice flavor, but was so dry it was nearly impossible to eat. I got the ko moo yang which is a marinated pork dish. The flavor wasn't exceptional - it was also dry. We did get sides; marinated greens, egg, radish, and noodles but the portions sizes for them were comically small. I swear there were 6 macaroni noodles. The Thai tea was overly sweet and this was mentioned-! they only had coconut milk and told us that but it was so chunky, a sort of curdle milke texture, it was hard to suck through the straw. Our service was very slow and a member of my party had mentioned that she didn't eat spicy food and so the server didn't bring over hot sauce for the rest of the party who do eat spicy? Plus it was very slow moving which was strange because there was no one there, like it took ten minutes for two drinks which were sodas. We arrived there around 3pm and left around 5pm. It didn't have interesting decor but the windows did allow a lot of natural light out. While I didn't pay attention two members of my party noticed that while the lobby was clean - the kitchen wasn't.

The bench seating was kind of fun for my larger group of about 7-8 people, though it didn't make it any easier to talk to everyone, only those nearest to me.

I thought it funny that the name of the shop sounded like it was either calling attention to or poking fun at the southeast Asian pronunciation of the word noodle, but the pictures were undeniable! So in just minutes from the Davenport Hotel, we walk thru the doors. I was very impressed with the modern art aesthetic that adorn the surrounding walls of the dining area. Pop art is a very common look at more modern ramen places so I was feeling very comfortable and confident that we'd come to the right place. The staff was friendly and amazing from the get go and all throughout! Starving, we sat down and our eyes tore through the menu with excitement. Most satisfyingly was the fact that we'd come at happy hour and ramen bowls were $10 each! Now as a ramen goer, I will always go to TanTan if it's on the menu and it was! My mind was made. My other two friends ordered the Spicy beef in a shoyu broth and a spicy Tonkotsu (both looked amazing)! We also ordered appetizers from the happy hour menu: Salt and Pepper Tofu and the Spicy Pork Wontons! Both of those were HIGHLY RECOMMENDs, but if you're sharing the Tofu goes much farther with the wontons only having 3 pieces but AMAZING flavor (PRO TIP: you can also use the left over sauce to experiment with other tastes later in your meal). Once the appetizers hit the table it was gone! Hence the no pictures, for which I greatly apologize. I've failed you again, my Yelp family. But please know it was because I'm a fat ass and couldn't hold back my hunger. But finally, the main courses came out. My mind clear from the nourishments of the appetizers, I was able to snap a picture of. Maybe not as much of a, "my mind was clear" as it was a, "Carrots and corn in my ramen? YUCK!" Now I get the corn. In Hokkaido style they like to put sweet corn on the surface and slap some butter on it, and THAT I always have time for. But corn?? In my opinion, there's no place for carrots in ramen because the sweetness will always off balance the taste. Especially in a pork bone broth, but definitely not invited to my TanTan party, but I digress. Being the huge lover that I am of food and adventure, I thought I'd give it a try. But from the first bite, I realized that I was right about the flavor, forgot about the texture and was surprised to find Chicken in my ramen. No ohana... ramen is one of my favorite things EVER! Growing up in my life we'd eat dry bags of Maruchan/Top Ramen with the seasoning in it for fun, as kids. You know which one flavor I NEVER ate? CHICKEN! It just never hit to me. And here, betraying me in my coveted TanTan was chicken! Besides all of these things, my ramen was slightly hotter than warm. I grew up eating traditional style ramen, where you had to want it! Meaning the broth would undoubtedly burn your lips but you HAD TO WANT IT fresh or you'd miss out on what good ramen was. So disappointedly, I rested my chopsticks across the brim of the bowl in defeat and pulled the menu back. Meanwhile, from across the table I hear the satisfying sounds of slurps and bowls being picked up and set down on the table. So I ask how their food was. Both were very happy and both did look good, but I needed something that wouldn't miss this time. So with that in mind, I asked for the Spicy ramen! But this time I made a few adjustments. Audibles if you will (heck, it's football season). I asked for no carrots and no corn (of which she whiffed on the no corn, but thankfully there were no carrots) and almost MOST importantly: I asked for the noodles to be half cooked! My waitress, who: LET ME JUST STOP HERE AND GIVE HER THE FLOWERS SHE DESERVES! I feel bad that I don't remember her name or who don't have a picture with her but I was there during happy hour on the 7th of September (Monday) and she looked like she could have been the daughter part of a mother/daughter duo that was working the dining area! I appreciate you! NOW BACK TO THE FOOD! So my order again: Spicy Beef Ramen, no corn or carrots with the noodles half cooked! And the next bowl that was set in front of me redeemed the entire food experience. My ramen was piping hot and perfect. Sizable chunks of well cooked beef, dressing the landscape of my bowl like mountains on a map. Just beautiful. I couldn't wait to dive in. And from the first bite, it was redemption! The beef was so soft! It had a rich flavor that made me check it to see if they maybe upgraded me to ox tail. They hadn't, but it was definitely an upgrade from that shredded chicken fiasco I'd just come away from. The spice level was perfect. And the temperature of the soup melted all of the natural juices and oils of all the ingredients into the broth. Exactly like it's supposed to do!
