Great food but serving sizes are ridiculous. If you order a small it's 2 oz chicken and a large is 4 oz. for an extra 3.50 you can get a side which is only 2 oz. someone tell these people a kids size is 2 oz and that is really small. So if you want noodles and rice and don't care about meat, it's a great place. read more

I am a long time customer and lately I've notice that the food has gone way down hill. The last time i picked up food, there was a long black hair in it (this is the 2nd time I have found hair). I called the Spokane Valley location and the supervisor told me she would send out a gift card for a refund. Never came. I emailed the corporate office since there is no phone number listed. First ....In OTHER places Customer Service in Spokane is generally sadly lacking.....The food is so so and the staff act as if they are doing you a huge favor.. Ive been to this NE about 5 times. I ordered a miso soup today. When I received my order my miso soup was very yellow with carrots and a large portion of noodles in it. It tasted like chicken soup, not even close to miso and was a real disappointment. A huge insult to the Japanese cuisine and culture. This was my first and last time ever going here. read more

Barf! MMMM, nothing like greasy, over cooked , over priced food to make you want to come back here. I really didn't want to go here, but was desperate for something to eat. Should have just gone to Jack in the Box next door. But my friend was in the mood for Asian themed food. Ordered something along the lines of ramen noodles soaked in oil that was brought to life with dehydrated chicken (or was it dog?). Watched an employee go use the bathroom and then come back and didn't even stop at the hand washing station. That was last thing I was expecting I would see here. Could have done w/o all the snarky catty attitude from all the teen girls working here too. I mean, seriously, don't stand there and ignore me and continue to talk amongst yourselves when a customer walks in. And PLEASE wash your hands!! If you crave Asian, go up the road to Panda Express where customer service is wonderful, service is prompt, and cleanliness is superb and all attitudes are left at home. And the meat isn't questionable. When I brought my food home I ate a few bites, then into the trash it went. read more

The rice and chicken with extra meat and veggies is amazing. Throw one extra sauce and you've got two entire meals. Yummy!

I used to really like this place because I love Chicken Osaka from the Mustard Seed, but I think my love affair has ended. I called in my order in advance (chicken osaka--half noodles, half veggies) and when I arrived they had half noodles--half rice. The girl behind the counter realized she made a mistake. I had to wait a few minutes for them to remake it--bummer--totally negated the time saving of calling ahead. And when I got it, wow--those noodles are SALTY! Apparently my step-father rinses them in water before eating, but even without any sauce, they are tongue-burningly salty. Bummer. I would recommend avoiding the noodles unless you are trying to triple your daily intake of sodium. The chicken osaka was good, but unfortunately was overshadowed by messing up my order, and the extreme over-salting. read more

Went there for the first time last night and it was horrible. We ordered teriyaki chicken bowls and it had no flavor and the food seemed like it was under the warmer for too long. I will not go back and wouldnt recommend it to anyone. read more

I was in noodle express today and the gentleman tayler that helped me was very friendly and great. I have never been to an establishment that cares for its patrons as well as he did.. highly rexommend going in and seeing him and the staff there!!!! Horrible Customer Service, My mom loves the place so I frequently pick food up for her and her coworkers. Well on one of my trips they messed up the order which was to go and I didnt know until I got it to my mom. So I called them I gave them my order number told them what was wrong with it and the girl told me she would send out a gift card. Well 3 weeks went by and I still hadnt received it so I called and I talked with the manager, well he took my order that day and remembered me. He was so rude and basically without straight up saying it told me that I was lieing and there was no way that he could have messed up the order. Mediocre teriyaki. Borders on subpar. Teriyaki was very bland and the Asian coleslaw was kind of gross. Potstickers were soggy and bland. At least this place is cheap for the slop they serve. Can't believe this place is associated with Mustard Seed. Last time I remember Mustard Seed was actually good. read more

My favorite fast food in the valley-- you get that amazing Mustard Seed sauces for take out prices! I must admit I always get the chicken Osaka, love the coleslaw that comes with. Place sucks. The food is bland. I've been there three times, unfortunately, and the chicken is always dry and the sauces have no flavor. Egg role sauce is the standard crap you get at cheap places from a can or whatever. Samurai Sam's makes a better bowl by far. read more

If you want a low carb option, order the teriyaki bowl with no rice and grilled veggies. It's delicious, especially with the extra teriyaki sauce poured on top. We go here often and the food is always delicious. read more

I'm vegetarian so I'm a little bit on the picky side when it comes to tofu and vegetarian options; however, I seriously can't get over how obsessed I am with the tofu Osaka bowl with whole grain rice! They fried the tofu and it is hands down one of my favorite "out to eat" veg meals! I receive friendly service every time I come in. Everyone has always been so smiley. Twice I ordered 80 rice 20 veggie, twice they didn't make it that way. Dissapointing. Grossed me out both times. Used to like, now I'm too dissapointed to try again. Went back for refund got additude. If you don't get what you ordered shouldn't you be intitled to a refund? We ordered take out tonight and it was awful. My boyfriend got potsticker soup and the noodles were extremely overcooked and gross, the shrimp noodle bowls my kid and I got were undercooked and cold! Waste of 25 bucks for sure. The cook talked to his friends the whole time while taking his hat off whole cooking with no gloves and his long hair hanging over the grill. Gross!!! Staff was on phones and talking to each other and my beef noodles had literally one piece of beef and my wife's chicken noodles had two pieces of meet. I think it was the manager that threw some pre-cooked chicken on the grill and put the Teriyaki sauce on it and threw on a bowl of Asian Slaw. Awesome customer service. I was traveling through Spokane on the first hot day of the year, absolutely starving. I pulled into the parking lot and called on my cell to place an order for pickup. I told the server (her name was Callie) that I had my dog in my car and could only leave him for a few seconds, and asked her to call me when the order was ready. Well, she went a step further and asked what car I was in and came out to get my debit card, then went back in and came out with my food, card, and receipt, while my dog stayed safe and cool in my air-conditioned car.
