Service was excellent. Our server was good enough to give us separate checks. They use the checkout devices that you are given at the table and you add any tip and then tap or Apple Pay. Very convenient. The prices are in line with other places and that was a surprise for the B.

She asked for half the normal amount of noodles, as she feels that the noodles end up soaking up a lot of broth. Some of the meat was excessively fatty, and for what you're paying, I expected a much better experience. The wait and the overall experience made it even worse. For a restaurant that gets this much hype, I expected better food, better consistency, and better service. The noodle-making is interesting to watch, but honestly, that's about the only "show" worth mentioning. A restaurant shouldn't be able to rely on people watching noodles being pulled while the actual meal leaves you disappointed.
