    Fish dumplings
    Sarah T.

Was excited to try out a new noodle place. The inside was very mom and pop shop. Decor were paper lanterns and some posters on the walls. There was only one other party before we got there and they sat at a large table in the middle of the small space. We were seated at a booth and were immediately told to be careful when we sat down because the bench is already worn down with the smallest amount of cushion left. But the person working there still urged us to sit down. We just avoided sitting on the soft spot. Order is by QR code and was pretty easy to order off multiple phones. We got fish dumplings, pork and fennel dumplings, beef noodles, chicken noodles, scallion pancakes, cucumber salad. The fish dumpling had a weird mushy taste, the pork and fennel dumpling used dried fennel and it was strong. The chicken noodles were ok, like can based stock with some oil added back in but the chicken leg in the dish was good. The beef noodles had a really good texture noodles and the broth tasted oddly like pizza. The cucumber salad was also just ok, drenched in oil and white wine vinegar. The scallion pancakes which was an appetizer came out last such that we were basically done and ready to pay and forgotten about it. Our table was given dumpling sauce dishes and were told they were the bowls to eat out of. Imagine Dixie cup size. And when we asked for bigger bowls like a rice bowl so we can share other items, we were asked why would we need more bowls. The table in the middle had bowls. Maybe cleaning more bowls was too much work. It was the same person who seated us, took our order, served the food, and he probably cooked too. Cleanliness was a concern for us while we were eating and saw him clean the table and then went and got our other dishes. There was only one other person in the kitchen that we were aware of because the person would yell for pick up. Overall, it was not a very good experience with the questionable cleanliness, problematic seats, and off putting flavors and textures.

I recently stopped by this place because I was visiting a family member nearby. Saw that have fresh Noodle and as well as some really good looking soup. Overall I had a good experience and the food was good. Pretty flavorful and everything is fresh. The business is a good size and has a good vibe. Overall I would recommend. I am planning to come back and try the dumplings

ce I will go back. Free Range Chicken Fat Wonton·Noodles‌虫草花鸡汤馄炖·面

The owner is very friendly and will ask for feedbacks on the food. We ordered the beef noodle and the chicken noodle. Beef is very tender. My husband live the taste of the food very much. I like it too but a little too salty for me. The owner said I can ask for less salty next time. It is not on the menu, just tell the owner. This is a place that I will go back frequently

Not sure what to call, it is fried donut and it is good.

The owner is so friendly and nice, and he did give some free fruit and dried donut for my little son, and the pork dumpling is so good, 皮薄餡靚, highly recommend. Will come for more different type of dumpling. Thank you.

#4 beef and pea stirred noodle (oops to mixing)... should rename to "beef and pea paste dry noodle"

OVERALL: Definitely an acquired taste... if you miss home (China) or are from the region in China, this place is for you. I became concerned when I saw the owners opening the containers and sniffing it. It's a family ran business with a couple going strong at it. SERVICE: They immediately speak Mandarin and recommended their specialties. Serves hot water, tea and iced water in ikea glass cups for free. No kettles, carafes, etc. Must pay upfront at the cashier. Was receptive to customer feedback but shrugged it off. FOOD: Few selections. Noodles aren't chewier or qq. #1 tomato sour soup fish noodle - owners state it's natural sour - noodles are definitely tastier than the dry noodles (states more noodles are free... no idea) #4 Beef and pea stirred noodles (dry) - the peas are a paste so mixing it into the noodles is textured and grainy - should be renamed to "beef and pea paste dry noodles" AMBIANCE: Casual. For a noodle shop, it takes quite awhile for the dishes to come out (as the wife is doing it all herself); therefore, be mindful of the time. Located in the Seafood City plaza. Private parking lot. Would I come back? No.

If you are looking for an authentic, "soul-food" noodle experience, this newly opened family-owned gem is a must-visit. Tucked away in a quiet shopping center, it offers a heartwarming atmosphere that makes you feel like you've stepped right into someone's home kitchen. The Food The highlights here are the soups and the handmade textures. We tried a variety of dishes: * Chicken Cordyceps Flower Noodle Soup: A absolute must-try. The broth is nourishing and deep in flavor, perfectly complementing the noodles which have that unmistakable "made-from-scratch" bite. * Beef Noodle Soup & Fish Soup: Both were solid, comforting, and tasted incredibly fresh. * Dumplings: These are traditional Northern Chinese style. The skins are thicker and heartier, exactly how they should be for that authentic, handmade hometown feel. The Service & Atmosphere The owners are incredibly friendly and treat you like family. Because everything is made-to-order, your food might take a little longer to arrive--but the wait is well worth it for the quality and freshness you receive. Final Verdict It's rare to find a place that captures the essence of a home-cooked meal so well. I'll definitely be coming back to explore more of the menu.

Came here to try this small noodle shop at a convenient exit on 680. The restaurant is a simple mom and pop style one whose owner is a nice genuine couple. Everything is ordered to cook so it would take a while. Love the chicken noodle soup with Cordyceps flower without msg. Good price for the ingredients and the hard work behind.

The owner of this restaurant is so sweet! You can tell by their service that they are passionate in what they are doing! The food was absolutely amazing! I ordered the cordyceps flower chicken noodle soup, and the broth was so tasty and not salty! The price was very reasonable for the quality of food that we received. Highly recommend!

The Spicy noodle is so yummy and tons of flavors! If you like spicy ( minor numbing spicy ), this dish is for you! Awesome service and offered few dumplings sample!

    Chicken noodle

I really the enjoy food here tonight. The chicken noodle was very tasty with no MS. My friend and I drank all the soup and finished all the home made noodles. Will try the sour fish noodle next time!

The food is so yummy, and friendly owner, nice service. The restaurant is very clean. I love spicy food. It makes miss my home.

Coming in with a party of 2 around 7 pm on a a Saturday evening, there was no wait as there were plenty of tables available. The menu is accessed via QR code, and you place your order through the phone. Food came out reasonably quickly and hot. My husband got the pork belly rice plate, which was very large and filling. If you eat smaller meals then two might be able to share. I tried it as well and thought our cuts were mostly fat, but they were flavored well. I ordered the Shezuan (mala) potato noodle soup. Turns out potato noodles are really soft with basically no bite or chew, so they weren't as fun to eat as expected. Flavor and portion size were still good. The mala / numbing spice is particularly strong here, so if you like it, you'll have a good time. While everything was satisfactory and tasted good, I don't think I'd seek this place out as it wasn't as memorable. Decent if you're already in the area though.

It's a good thing we did because the restaurant filled up completely 5 minutes after ordering. The inside of the restaurant is clean and modern, they have some art up on the wall that was cool to look at. The food was definitely the star though. We tried the BBQ pork and shrimp noodle rolls. Both were really good but my favorite was still the shrimp. I loved the veggies in the roll too. They can be a bit hard to pick up and eat because they're massive and cut into thirds. Other than that, the rice noodles are thin and silky and hold the sauce nicely. The sauce is also delicious. We also ordered the fish congee which was simple but comforting. It comes out PIPING hot so don't burn your tongue. Fish was tender and flavorful. Overall no complaints and the service was quick. Highly recommend!
