    Pork Beijing

I bought Pork Beijing at Asiana yesterday and was pleasantly surprised. The Pork was tender with amazing sauce. Flavors were well-balanced, making it a good choice. I used to order several dishes togo and acknowledged that they alway have karaoke from 6:30pm (maybe). Anyway, I'd recommend going there or buying togos, worth a try if you're in the area!

I am giving two stars for the experience. I am giving three stars for the food. So overall 2.5 stars. We ordered American broccoli (pic not attached), sugar peas sprouts and tofu chow mein. After 10 mins, they brought up Chinese broccoli and when I mentioned I wanted American, the guy denied saying I ordered Chinese. After 2 mins arguing the guy took back it reluctantly! Very strange first experience. The food overall average, chow mein is very dry and tofu tastes frozen and thawed on the wok. The noodles are burnt in pieces. The broccoli and sprouts tastes average. Nothing is there to go back. The ambience itself is sketchy and sad looking with empty aquarium in front and dull (and possibly few dead) crab and lobster tanks in the back.

We were looking for a Chinese/ Vietnamese restaurant close to great mall and we decided to try Asiana Restaurant. Tiffany was very attentive and very helpful recommending the best dishes they have on the menu. All the food we ordered was delicious. We would come back and try their Vietnamese over rice dishes next time. They also have live band in the evening. Great food and great service.

This will unfortunately be my very last visit with Asian Garden. It has always been a love/hate relationship with this restaurant and as sad as it is to say, the quality and taste has only continued to go downhill- this started even PRIOR to Covid and has snowballed. The lack of patrons is a clear indication that my not so fond visit is not an isolated incident. Food was mediocre. Noodles were super bland and the seafood involved was just pitiful- see my pic of the dinky shrimp tail provided. Clams were plump but consisted of a lot of shells and was very salty. Mongolian beef dish left us without any complaints. We ended the meal with the male owner overcharging our tab. When my guy questioned him about it he was very snappy and insisted everything was correct. Luckily for us, the wife [who had been assisting us during the entire meal] stepped in and corrected him about the mistake. No apology provided, no sympathy in his tone, & he had the nerve to get irritated when a receipt was requested. 2 stars and that is me being super nice. I won't be coming back here and that shouldn't surprise management because the restaurant is always bare anyhow.

we meet all my friend on friday (9/12/25)night at asiana restaurant to eat and karaoke.when we order 4 kind the foods and regular drink water. all food like shits and they charge over. because we never drink wine.but they charge $30 and $30 come in music.and cost me $16 for water.but we drink only 4 cups.why they over 8 cups. They specialize in cheating money on bills, be careful. and i never be come back

Beef chow fun, pork kidney egg noodle soup, won ton noodle soup

I don't enjoy rating restaurants low but hear me out.. I have been coming here for at least a decade. Asiana has gone through a few ownerships throughout the years but food has been pretty consistent in my opinion. However, my recent visit, on a Saturday afternoon, to grab lunch with my parents has changed my view of this place.. the cleanliness/sanitation has gotten worse - terrible to say the least especially during Covid-19. We ordered: - beef chow fun: 4/5 - huge portion that I was able to split into 2 meals, had tons of onions and beans sprouts - pork kidney egg noodle soup: 2/5 - liver was over cooked, egg noodles also over cooked to the point it was slightly mushy - won ton noodle soup: 3/5 - the won ton balls were a good consistency but not many pieces The bad.. the workers/servers were not wearing masks at all, even with all their masks required signs throughout the restaurant. I caught one of the servers wiping a tea cup with his hands before giving it to another guest. I don't even want to imagine what happens behinds the scenes in the kitchen.. definitely will not be returning anytime soon!

Strawberry milk tea, jasmine milk tea, grapefruit green tea

This review is for the tea shop which is located inside the restaurant. It's a little confusing because the outside looks like a Chinese/Vietnamese restaurant. I think it may be the owner's kids or some other family college students running the tea portion. Saw the tea advertised on FB so decided to give it a try since they were offering a buy 3 get 1 free deal and $2.95 for their milk teas too. 75cents extra for the large size. They only take cash or Venmo no credit cards by the way. The young man and young lady who helped us were very friendly and they have loyalty stamp cards. We ordered 6 different drinks, their popcorn chicken and all 6 flavors of their macarons. The popcorn chicken was more like chicken nuggets, but the girl that helped us did recommend the calamari or the dumplings so those are probably better. Skip the popcorn chicken, it wasn't very good. The macarons were only 89 cents each and they were okay. Drinks were on the sweet side so definitely get less sugar in them. We tried the jasmine Milk tea, Strawberry milk tea, strawberry green tea, peach orange green tea, passion peach green tea, and the grapefruit green tea. The jasmine milk tea was good at 50% sweet. The fruit teas were still a little too sweet at 50% sugar but the flavors were good. We didn't get any toppings so the drinks were already sweet without even adding a topping to them. If in the area, may stop by if they have a deal but probably wouldn't go out of my way just to get tea here. The soda ades sound good though. On a side note, would be interested to try the 3 for $25 Chinese food from the same spot.

    Hotpot Toppings

Came here on Saturday for a family dinner. I heard good things about the famous Braised Lobster Egg Noodle. I'm totally disregarding the mediocre comments here because my experience was great. We ordered four orders of the lobster egg noodles, fried rice, Tom Yum hotpot, salt and pepper and shrimp, and fried fish. The lobster egg noodle dish was only $20.99. Noodles were sautéed in a yummy sauce. Lobster was savory and full of flavor. I especially liked the Tom Yum hotpot. Plenty of veggies and other yummy toppings that came with. Soup was yummy with the fresh Chinese cabbage. I really liked that they had chili oil! It's not a Chinese restaurant without chili oil! I made my own sauce by mixing the soy sauce, vinegar, and fresh jalapeños that were available. Everything was worth the money. Service was excellent. Everyone from the server to the owner were courteous and super accommodating. They took care of us like family, frequently checking up on us and changing plates. If I'm in SJ, I will be back!

The waitresses and waiters were attentive and brought us menus and water right away. I ordered the #1 combo pho and overall really enjoyed it. The broth was flavorful without being overly rich or oily like I expected after reading some reviews. I also appreciated that the broth wasn't too sweet, which seems to be the trend at a lot of pho spots lately. I'd give the pho a 3.5/5 overall. The main downside for me was that the noodles were a little overcooked and softer than I personally prefer, but the broth itself was quite good and definitely the highlight of the meal. I would definitely want to come back to try it again with other friends!

I still remember this restaurant when it was first opened and they have remodeled this place and made it bigger many years ago. Interior design of the restaurant is much better. There is always people coming in and out, they have really good business here.

I know the purists will say this isn't the authentic Pho Thin Lo Duc, but honestly to me doesn't matter. As long as food slaps and my belly is happy, then I'm sold. My favorite dishes here are pho tai lan and pho tai dap. And 2 sides you should order whenever you have Hanoi pho is quay (fried dough) and poached egg. The broth may not be the best, but it's rich, beef is stir-fried perfectly with signature garlic aroma (it's called tai lan for a reason, and dipping the quay into the soup took me straight back Hanoi. It's rare to find a place in Bay that serves pho with quay, so I really appreciate the authenticity. This restaurant is just comforting, delicious, and for a moment, it made the distance from home feel a little smaller. No matter what other people say, this is my favorite spot in the Bay for sure!

The meat (pho tai dap #10) was the only element that added any real flavor to the dish. Service was also lacking. The Chinese sausage pieces sprinkled throughout added extra flavor too. The bowl is deep so there seemed to be roughly 5 cups of rice. Unfortunately the laksa shrimp fried rice was disappointing in comparison. It didn't have much flavor overall - better than plain rice but definitely needed more seasoning. The menu lists homemade laksa sauce as an ingredient but we didn't taste that, and the dish wasn't spicy at all either despite the 1 chili pepper rating. But it looked just like the menu picture so maybe the description is wrong. Fried chicken with tom yum sauce came with 6 pieces. Very juicy. We also enjoyed the herbal roasted prime steak with sausage rice. The delicious rice had the taste of fish sauce. Most of the short rib slices were soft and a few were slightly chewy but overall decent quality. Some of the fattier pieces of meat were still attached to the bone.

I came here on a Friday evening with my friend to grab dinner around 6:00 PM. The wait was around an hour, so be very prepared if you're coming during the dinner rush. This spot is located where the majority of the Asian restaurants are in Milpitas, so it's safe to say the parking can get a bit hectic and intense. The interior of the place is very bright, modern, and clean. There is a lot of seating for a small space, but the reason they are so busy has a lot to do with the number of people wanting to check this spot out. When you sit down, you scan their virtual menu via QR code and order there instead of through a server. You have the choice to order on one phone as a group or separately. Between my friend and me, we ordered a beef mint salad, fried tofu, confit mushrooms, and truffle mushroom rice. I will say that when we first got the fried tofu and confit mushrooms, we were quite surprised by the small portions compared to the price. That said, they were delicious, but skippable if you're trying to find the best bang for your buck. What I absolutely would recommend is their truffle mushroom fried rice. This might have been my best bite this month. It was so savory, the mushrooms hit perfectly, and the coating of butter on the rice was supreme. It was $28 for a bowl, but it was a good value to split between two people. Overall, this place had great, fast service (our food came out in under 10 minutes), a nice ambiance, and fresh, flavorful food.
