Standouts were the side dishes like the celery with tofu skin and super potato (fried potato coated in a slightly spicy red sauce.) I got the Szchun Potato Noodles and he got the Classic Potao Noodles; it was both our first time trying Potato noodles. It similar to bun (Vietnamese noodles, but thicker), super soft, and silky. Loved it. Would defintely go again. My dish was spicy (more hot in temperature than spice), and bit numbing. There was an allergy section from ordering from the QR code to remove certain items but soy was not listed. There was section to remove certain toppings such as tofu which I opted for. I don't believe my dish was soy-free/soy safe should you have any allergies to soy. Wish there was more indiciation if soy-sauce/soy ingreidents are used. I ordered the DIY Potato Noodles with fatty beef, shiitake mushroom, mussels, tofu puffs, and bok choy added on with the Hot & Sour broth! I didn't know that they would also add in fish balls, quail eggs, tofu shreds, and bean sprouts which were nice! I love the chewy and bouncy texture of the noodles and it wasn't something that I've had before. They're similar to the Vietnamese bun noodle mixed with the Korean sweet potato noodles! The broth itself wasn't very spicy or sour, they do have a sauce bar in the back right of the restaurant where there was chili oil, soy sauce, and vinegar if you wanted to try to make a dip or season the broth more. The other bowl which was the Szechuan broth, came in a clay pot which kept it warm for the entire meal and the broth wasn't very spicy or numbing - which was kind of disappointing. I liked that all of the ingredients weren't overcooked and it was nice to be able to do special adjustments if you preferred your bowl to have less oil, spice, no garlic, etc. I would definitely recommend this spot and come here again.
