I am a big fan of chowmein so I was searching around for the best. Noodlehead happened to pop up. I decided to give them a try, since they specialize in noodles. I ordered just a plain vegetable chowmein with extra noodles to go $19.50. When I got home I was excited to eat it, but they had a weird smell to it. Kind of like a burnt oil or plastic smell. I tried them anyways, the noodles were good, but couldn't get passed the smell. I brought some to work with me for lunch, ended getting some orange chicken from another place nearby to mix it in to see if that would kill the smell. It didn't. Second time in and it was so good. I've craved this place multiple times in the last 6months and was so happy to go in today. Noodlehead was amazing! This cute little place just opened up and it had delicious food. The restaurant was warm and inviting. I am celiac and the server knew exactly which items were safe for me and confirmed with the chef. I can't say enough about the excellent service. I had the cucumber and black fungus salad which had amazing flavor and the satay tofu with peanut sauce. SoMy husband had the Szechuan beef brisket noodle and loved it. Craving some great soup for this cold LV evening so I ordered the Chicken Mushroom Noodle Soup from NoodleHead. My soup was ready and waiting on arrival. The broth and chicken and mushrooms in a bowl and the noodles and green onions in a separate container. When mixed together at home, this made a very large serving of hot, comforting, delicious soup, chockerblock full of tasty chicken and beautiful, tender mushrooms. The noodles are prepared to the perfect consistency and the seasoning was perfect. I ate till full and still have enough left for lunch tomorrow. This is a very authentic Chinese noodle house. It is very rare to have a noodle place, that every dish bring back my memory and taste that remembered from my experience from Taiwan and China. You can tell this is an authentic noodle, because there are a lot of older Chinese ladies dining there in group of two to four. Run to Noodlehead as fast as you can. Our dinner was amazing!!! The spicy dumplings are handmade and we're quite possibly the best dumplings I've ever had. I had the Mongolian Beef noodles, my husband had the Szechwan brisket noodle soup, and my 9-year-old daughter had the chicken noodle soup. She still slurping away as I write this.
