However, because they're rushing they miss things and the last several times I have ordered there has been something wrong. It started with them just overlooking that I requested plastic silverware, not a huge issue since I was taking it home. The last time I ordered a meal that did NOT come with broccoli as a default option, and I had requested several things to be removed with no substitutions. When I got home I saw they put broccoli on the dish. I checked the receipt, nothing on there about substituting broccoli. I went to the site to check and there is no default option for broccoli. I can't eat broccoli so I had to throw it away. No, I cannot pick around it, there were tiny pieces of broccoli fuzz mixed throughout the entire dish. Why did someone just...add a random ingredient to my dish? Tonight I got an order. Pan noodles with tofu, red onion instead of mushroom, no carrots, no broccoli, no cilantro. I don't care about being judged for what I ordered, I like it that way. The receipt reflects what I bought and appears to have been checked by a staff member. However, no red onion in the dish. That tells me no one actually checks, they're just lying. At least this time the mistake didn't cost me money, but it just seems like they're missing the mark here. Noodles & Co is great. Two registers were open, and within 8-10 minutes of ordering two regular pasta bowls, a worker brought it out to the table. It is self-serve for silverware and drinks. My little sister's Rigatoni Rosa pasta was undercooked and hard, but my Pesto Cavatappi pasta was fantastic. They give you an adequate amount of sauce, and ~5 pieces of shrimp for the regular (large) bowl. The nice thing is that the regular size usually lasts my sister and I through two meals, and they have to-go containers for what you don't finish. When you are done, there are two trash areas to bring your bowls and silverware. Definitely join the noodle rewards for surprise BOGOs and birthday treats! read more

I've been coming to this location for years (at least 3-4) I live in South Olathe but I'll make the drive here just because the food is so good! Everything is made to order and is fresh! I can honestly say I've never had a bad experience here! My favorite dishes are: - Pesto Cavatappi w/grilled Chicken - Pad Thai w/grilled chicken - Whole wheat Fresca w/ grilled chicken - Med Salad w/ grilled chicken My favorite soup is the chicken noodle!! Seriously cannot compare their CNS to anywhere else! Sometimes I'll just order a big bowl because it's so good! But everything on the menu is pretty darn good! Only con is that it is pretty expensive compared to other fast food chains, but you get what you pay for! These past few years, I'll order via the app and pick-up in store! Noodles is a criminally underrated chain in America. I rarely have a bad experience and this experience at this Kansas stop is no different. Everyone was so nice taking my order. I enjoyed every bite of my Buffalo Mac with gluten sensitive noodles. They were kind enough to be sure to ask if I had a gluten allergy to be sure that they needed to make more changes to my food. In my opinion, Noodles & Company is a decent restaurant that is family friendly and an alternative to greasy fast food burgers, chicken, and fries. The menu is inspired from numerous noodle dishes from around the globe (inspired- not necessarily **authentic**). This particular location is close to home, and I have seen its turnover in personnel over the years. The current management and employers were helpful and kept busy throughout business hours. If they were not serving guests, they were busy cleaning glass, sweeping the carpet etc. (one female employee was a standout.) I am always a fan of the Pad Thai, although their Beef Stroganoff is pretty good as well. The menu is kid friendly, which is always a win for parents. Also, the Rice Krispie treats are amazing. We ordered the roasted garlic tortellini and the orange chicken with zucchini noodles. The girl punched in the order and I got the impression she didn't get my order right. I clarified that I wanted zucchini noodles and not the regular noodles. We came in 40 minutes before they closed. We were going to order two orders of macaroni to-go (the simplest dish on the menu). As we walked in both men running the kitchen turned around and stared at us and audibly groaned "are you kidding it's literally 8:30". Then grumbled to each other about having to help us. We all hate when customers walk in 5 minutes before close but this was literally 40 minutes before. never have i ever openly complained to a customer before. I might also add, noodles makes us wear masks in a county that doesn't require it. i'm not complaining, however, neither cook had their mask on. They both had them dangling below their neck. I've always wanted to try this food chain out & finally made the visit. I ordered a small order of the Japanese Pan Noodle. It's a bit pricey ($7.75) for the amount they give you. The taste wasn't bad with a lot of sriracha in it. The noodle was a bit undercooked for me. The counter staff was prompt, friendly & helpful. The restaurant itself was casual. Nothing to fancy. The location is around a busy place on 119th but it wasn't really busy during my lunch visit today. At this time I would say I probably wouldn't go unless there was no other noodle place open. There are numerous options, so there are more possibilities for vegetarians out on the town than a veggie burger or a salad. Your food is made to order and brought to your table. I had the pad thai with shrimp and a side caesar salad and both were OK. The service here is generally mediocre at best. The cashiers act bothered to help, I don't think I have ever seen one smile, heard one use a please, thank you, or you're welcome. They take your order and move you along so they can continue to not be bothered. I would go into detail, but it would involve a lot of inappropriate words on my part. I'll just say the kids that work there need to learn some manners and proper word choice. I gave them two stars instead of one because the cooks do a fantastic job getting the food out quickly and like I said before, for fast food it is good and well priced. I generally get the stroganoff with beef or a salad, but have also tried some of the Asian dishes. I haven't had anything I do not like. The salads are pretty basic combinations, but they are fresh and made with quality products. They have one of the 5billion drink option fountains which is great until you get behind someone exploring all of the options available. They also have some nice tea options. The best thing about Noodles is that is a place you can go and appease pretty much everyone in your group with the variety of options. If you can tolerate the my parents made me get a job poor attitudes of the cashiers you will be ok here. I have run out of tolerance after a couple of years. Another plus, they help the local schools. I often have friends that post about certain events where if you eat at Noodles, they will contribute to a school function. I am so disappointed in my order. I ordered Wisconsin Mac and cheese with steak. I Asked for Extra shredded cheese. I got two small bowls. It usually is in one larg bowl when I order this. There was a clump of plain nooodles no cheese sauce topped with a layer of shredded cheese. The other had the cold steak in it. Neither bowl could hold both. Tried to mix it in a small bowl I have and it was a solid mass. I keep going back because the front end employees are great. And I can get good food usually. I had never ever been to a Noodles & Company before and my hubby thought it would be a great idea for me to try it. After eating here, I was just a tad bit worried that my hubby might not really know me. I ordered Pad Thai which was literally a bowl filled with noodles covered in some sort of flavorless sauce and just a few little bits of carrots. Oh...one tiny little leaf of cilantro with some bean sprouts for garnish. No peanuts? Huh? My hubby could see how utterly dismayed I was at my food so he went to the counter and requested some peanuts and cilantro which really did help my dish, bringing it from WTF status to barely edible status. The hubby ordered some sort of curry dish with pork on it and it really had no curry flavor at all, but had somewhat more flavor than my dish, at least enough so that I found myself coveting my hubby's food. Is that wrong? I considered giving them an extra star since they have Boulevard Beer and they carded me. Not many places would card someone my age, so gotta give 'em props for that move. But sadly, they lost their second star after we got home and the hubby and I both paid dearly for our meals. Trust me. You do not want details. I used the noodles app to place an order because they were about to close in 30 minutes so I wanted to get the order in quick for their sake. A woman called me right away to tell me that they were out of Spagetti for my dish and out of the gluten free noodles as well for the two other dishes. They said that they only had enough to make one of the gluten free dishes. I was going to just cancel the order, but the woman offered to make some noodles right then. I said that would be great because my siblings have celiac disease, and that is why we go there because they offer the gluten free options. She acted put out to do this even though she's the one who offered, and upon arriving she was rude and annoyed. The man I assume was the manager was smiling and friendly and so clearly she had the issue working there. Now one of my siblings is complaining of stomach pain as if the dish was in fact contaminated. If this woman's annoyance was what caused the lack of caution upon boiling new water and throwing in some noodles, we will not be going to this one again. This chain is way overpriced for what they offer and then to have someone complain about boiling some pasta 30 minutes before closing is just ridiculous. It's never going to be anything terribly original or exciting, but it's solid food at fair prices. How can you not like that? I live near this N&C, and the service has always been really friendly and pretty speedy as well. I have had various dishes, and here is a brief recap of what I have had: Mac & Cheese - rich, unhealthy, tasty. They recommend it with meatballs...don't. Their meatballs are pretty nasty in my opinions - dry and tasteless. Instead, get the braised beef or the parm-crusted chicken. Indonesian Peanut Saute - awesome and flavorful, with a decent kick. However, if you like spicy food at all, make sure to order it "extra spicy". Bangkok Curry - perhaps the healthiest thing on the menu (well, for noodles). It has very few calories but is HUGE in flavor. They recommend with shrimp and I can second that - it's a great addition, and keeps the dish on the healthy side. Penne Rosa - boring. You can make it at home for cheaper, and probably better. Don't even bother. Mushroom Stroganoff - perfect on a chilly night! Add braised beef and enjoy. Buttered Noodles - seriously...unless it's for a kid, make it at home and save a ton of money. It's noodles...with butter. All in all, a tasty, quick and affordable food choice! read more

Yes, Noodles & Company is a chain. But if you're a vegetarian -- or dine with one often -- Noodles & Company's menu appeals to meat eaters and veggie lovers alike. The cafe-style restaurant is less formal than a sit-down restaurant, but your food comes on real plates, and you get real silverware with which to eat your noodle-y goodness. Dishes are flavored from mild to spicy, and everything is a la carte, so you can add tofu, chicken, steak or nothing at all to your pasta. The array of choices ranging from wine with your meal to rice crispy treats for dessert is definitely odd. But I prefer to think of it as equally friendly to adults and children. Most times I love eating at Noodles & Company. The first one I ever ate at was in Lee's Summit, MO. It was mostly pleasant eating at that location. The people were glowing with smiles and always greeted everyone. This made you feel welcomed and happy to eat there and spend money. The service was speedy, fresh and fast. I've lived in Olathe roughly 5 months and have only been to this location twice. Both times the people didn't seem like they wanted to be there. I'd say probably the most disappointing thing that I noticed both times I was there -- the dirty tables and floors! This accounts for 95% of the experience in my opinion. You'd think an employee would take a look around and clean the tables and floors but that's not the case here. We sat at a dirty table and the table next to us was dirty. It stayed dirty the whole time we were there. Both times I was at this location I noticed that probably every table there was not clean. My advice to the store owner would be to get some employees who are happy to work there and greet customers. Even if they didn't smile, keeping the tables and floors clean would be a 50% improvement!
