They care about not creating too much waste (it's tough with takeout!). Literally so fucking good:) we got the Tom yum w chicken, the udon w shrimp tempura and chicken teriyaki rice bowl. All so good especially the teriyaki rice was so tender and sweet. I went to this place a while back with a friend when we were looking to grab a quick lunch. You order at the counter and then sit down and they serve the food to you. I remember not being sure where to order the food and if we should get up from our table and being a little confused. The menu surprisingly did have a lot of options, which was nice. While the noodle soup I ordered was by no means bad, I just remember not really being satisfied. It didn't taste authentic or like any soups I had tried before. Moreover, I wasn't really into the interior of the restaurant. It was small and not super nice or clean. Definitely just a very, very casual lunch place. Very cute, clean spot in the center of NoHo... Good, familiar to me menu. Very decent papaya salad served as I asked, Thai spicy. Did not disappoint. A few window seats to sit and look out at the foot traffic. Comfortable, airy atmosphere...decent food. My favorite thing here is the curry coconut chicken soup...it is FANTASTIC! I've tried some of the salads (good), rice bowls (ok). Sadly, I'm not crazy about their signature beef stew...it's fine, but doesn't have the depth of flavor that I've come to expect in noodle soups. I often get the kim chee dumplings, though I wish they were spicier. Amazing restaurant! They offer outdoor seating so we sat outside. The people who waited on us were so friendly and sweet- at one point the man realized he had forgotten a straw for my sister's boba tea so he brought her more tea for free to make up for it! The food here is delicious! Every time! The Curry Soup is my favorite. They also have a big variety of dumplings that are all great.

Pros: It's a very quaint spot in Noho, the atmosphere is super clean and simple. The waitress was very sweet and the service is quick. She always made sure everything was all set and asked how the food was. They have the best Thai Tea you'll ever have. I'd come here just for that alone. I also reccommend the Three Kings Bowl which comes with duck, shrimp and pork. The meat is cooked to absolute perfection, and the noodles are loaded with flavor. They actually give you a side of red sauce (which is very tasty too) for you to add to the meal. My edemame came out super fresh and hot (one thing I DESPISE with other places is that it can come out warm/boarderline cold). It's great for lunch and a quick dinner. Cons: I wish this place was bigger for when it gets to its more busier times but otherwise very cute and not overwhelming. The Thai Tea isn't refillable :( read more

This is probably our favorite noodle spot in town! Spicy Tofo Noodle Soup is always on point, never too spicy and never bland and the braised beef is mouth watering. The atmosphere is welcoming and cozy. The service is excellent and we are always greated by a friendly face. Weekends are usually busy so visit on weekdays to enjoy the mellow atmosphere. We always look forward too visiting Noodles and will always be a favorite! read more

My daughter attends nearby Smith College and we come here often. The reviewer who stated that you have to order at the counter is wrong. We are always seated by the host and then served at the table. They are attentive, sweet owners who go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. The food is made fresh and cooked to order. Yes, this is not a fancy place inside but we have never had any meal that we did not LOVE. I think this says it best - we always go in "intending" to take home a portion or our meal to enjoy the next day but every single time, we just can't stop eating it and we finish it right there. Solid ramen, I went with the miso. My only qualm here is I get ramen to go quite often since I spend a lot of time driving. Most places will provide two containers, one with the noodles, vegetables, & proteins, the other container will contain the broth. This way nothing gets soggy and it allows you to pour the broth at your leisure when eating on the go. At Noodles they provided two containers, however the vegetables, pork, & broth were all in one container and the noodles and egg were separated out into another container making the process of eating on the go a bit more difficult. read more

I truly wish we had this restaurant in suffolk county. This restaurant hit the spot. Not the same as home cooking but damn it was authentic to me. I was about to get this other dish with intestine and egg noodle but once I saw beef noodle I changed my mind. No regrets of course. I'll be back of course. Maybe not soon but eventually I'll be back. The flavor alone of the soup was delish. U definitely don't need to add additional sauce but of course it's me I love mt sauce. Recently, I got the Nava noodle soup which had seafood, minced chicken, fishball, fish cake, crushed peanut and veggies in spicy lime broth. It was really delicious and full of flavor. I ordered a veggie ramen soup and I will not be back. First, the good: The staff was friendly. Now the bad: the food. The broth was simple, if unspectacular. The only veggies they provided were carrots (lots of em) and bok choy (although they only included the stocks- no leafy greens at all). I would appreciate some mushrooms, greens, ANYTHING! My generous boyfriend ordered this dish and let me take a few spoonfuls. It's definitely the best thing on the menu. I had the chicken curry soup which was a good choice as well. I good amount of veggies and chicken in a flavorful coconut curry broth. I wanted some cilantro in mine and our server was happy to pass some on to me. Stopped in for some warm soup on a snowy day, was not disappointed. My wife got a fish soup that had peanuts, some roast pork, and a bunch of other stuff that she liked. I got miso ramen, hoping to get some ramen that was close to my favorite in Osaka. It was close enough. I could tell the broth wasn't a traditional 20+ hour broth from an exclusive ramen house, but it was very tasty, with the correct blend of salty and umami balanced with the sweet corn. I strongly suggest getting the extra green onions though. We will be back to try other things from the very widely varied menu. read more

This place is under rated. I love asian noodle soups, and I am not an expert but i've eaten at well over 20 asian soup establishments in many states. This place consistently has my favorite soup - the Beef Medley Noodle Soup. It has the most unique, bold flavors I've ever tasted. Paired with the Udon - which costs 1$ extra - it has become something I crave on a weekly basis. The other soups on the menu are also good. I think the prices are just right. Only downside is the place is really more of a lunch destination - no beer or wine available. Also be careful about asking for spicy, the heat range varies depending on who is in the kitchen. Overall one of my favorite lunch spots in Hamp. Definitely the best bowl of soup in MA i've ever had. read more

Get the curry noodle soup. It's one of the best soups I've ever had, hands down. The sweet potato fries with tom yum seasoning were perfect. My boyfriend got the shrimp tempura ramen, which was OK, but you should seriously branch out and try some of the other soups that they offer. This place is great for those who are lactose intolerant or gluten free, as they have 3 kinds of gluten free noodles and most of the menu is dairy free. We ordered the Shumai Shrimp dumplings, Tom Yum Noodle Soup (Shrimp) and a Thai Tea Bubble Tea. Overall, our service was fairly fast and impersonal. For most restaurants, despite what you order, you get a glass of water. This was not the case here, as we had to ask for water. There is a $10 minimum for credit cards. The prices were good but the food was not great. We got 6 Shumai Shrimp dumplings, which were a little bigger than a size of a dime and came with an unappetizing black vinegar sauce. It looked like the type you could find at an Asian store and take home to steam. When we ordered our bubble teas, the waitress only thought one of us wanted boba in our drink, and so had to take our drinks back to dump tapioca on top of the ice. A quick fix, but awful presentation. There also wasn't very much boba and the Thai tea was watered down. I felt as if the majority of my drink was ice. The Tom Yum Noodle Soup is traditionally spicy and sour. The Tom Yum Noodle Soup at Noodles was not spicy in the least and was sweet! It left a horrible aftertaste in my mouth, so I had to drown my broth with the chili sauce they had at the counter. There were only a few piece of shrimp in my noodle soup, a bit of cilantro, and mushrooms. The mushrooms were mostly raw and earthy tasting, as if they were not cooked at all. Today was the day I officially got sick and tired of winter. I needed soup...spicy, steaming soup with udon. So Noodles is where I called for takeout. I went with the spicy beef medley soup with udon noodles. The broth was flavorful & nicely spicy with lots of udon. I would have loved more bean sprouts & bok choy because I, in fact, love them. There were nice chunks & slices of beef. I was hoping for some nice meatballs but got some weird sausage-type meat that reminded me of liverwurst. It was good just not what I was hoping for. Overall...They're solid. Portions are hearty. Food is tasty. When I was finished, I was sweating so it met my spicy expectations. Udon noodles are $1 extra FYI so a pricey lunch...$10.95 total. Only had takeout here. The food has been great and it is very affordable. a soup and salad is enough for 2. The spicy beef salad was great, the spice factor was probably a 6/10 which can always be increased with more chili sauce. I've had several soups and they've all been excellent. This place is a great Gluten Free option as they offer rice noodles. Inside is very small but cute, no beer or wine. read more
