I don't know how I managed not to review this place the first time we stopped in! I must remedy that! The boy and I were starving and needed to eat like stat! Somehow we had gauged our time all wrong and missed meals. I have to eat or I get migraines and boy, had I turned grumpy fast that day! Lucky we saw this place! We're not exactly original when it comes to take out. The boy always get the Sesame Chicken (since I got him hooked on it) and I always get the Pad Thai. We decided to dine in both times we stopped. The boy loved his dish both times! The chicken was tender and tasty! Of course, there's always enough for leftovers! I'm not sure how or why but the first time we stopped in I ended up with something other than Pad Thai... I didn't care due to the need for food... I was glad too! It was a beef dish with wide flat noodles and chucks of veggies. Whatever it was, it was great! The beef was really tender and full of flavor. There were leftovers, of course! This time when we went I did get my Pad Thai and was not disappointed! I ordered it with beef and like the mystery dish from the initial visit the beef was wonderful! The noodles and tofo were full of flavor. And there were leftovers for lunch the following day! I only wish this place was within delivery distance to us! We used to come here all the time but haven't for a while so I thought we'll come here for our next meal. Most of their food is decent, pho was excellent the broth is good, their curry is not too bad either. However, I was super disappointed with their Pad Thai, it was neon orange! didn't taste quite right. either, there was no lime wedge that I'm accustom to. I've had my share of Pad Thai from other restaurants and have never ever seen them ORANGE. I'm not talking about a little brown/orange but bright carrot orange. I completely lost my appetite and couldn't eat any more after few bites. I took home the left over, I might post a picture so you can judge for yourself that I'm not exaggerating lol. This was my first visit to Noodles Pho U. I will be back, but will keep my eyes open. The establishment was clean and well lit, with the staff being very attentive. It was a thursday night, so no real test of how it would be here with a full crowd. The menu promises more that just pho, with Chinese and Thai dishes also being offered. I saw a few things I've never seen on an asian menu before, so I will need to come back and try some of their other offerings. Since I've had Pho Tai before I decided to try that dish here to get an idea of how good this place was. The waitress brought out the condiments and I saw sirriacha, hoisin, and whoa,...where's the sambal oelek? Next came the pho tai. There were green onions in the bowl, but what's with all the white onions?! This always signals to me that an Asian resturant is being Americanized. No White Onions People! That said they were easily removed and placed on a side plate. Another point was the side plate of basil, bean sprouts, sliced jalapeño peppers and lime. The peppers were fresh, but the basil had brown spots. Now the broth itself was quite heavenly. Perfect actually. There was a lot of beef in the dish, but there were 3 pieces of gristle still attached as well. Thee were a lot of rice noodles too. Not a bad thing. Once I added the side items to my liking I was all set. I got a coconut honeydew melon smoothie to go. It was one of the most tasty Asian smoothies I've had in a while. So I would recommend a visit to NPU. Try some of the things you like and see what you think. I will try the pho again and try some other items. I will definitely be back for the smoothie. read more

Love the Korean Stone Bowl! The beef was tender and flavorful, very large portion, steaming hot & enough for 2 meals easily. Tasty kimchee. Don't miss the fresh fruit blend smoothies. Takes a while to prepare, if you are getting them to go order before your meal is done. Mine was Cocanut/ Mango with purple tapioca bubbles. I looked at previous reviews and pictures to determine what I would order and saw the Pork Vermicelli dish. It seemed like exactly what I was looking for at the time. We ordered two entrees, Pork Vermicelli and Pork Chop Rice with Shrimp Tempura for the appetizer. I was skeptical about ordering it to-go but everything was packed nice and neat. The Pork Vermicelli was very good! the pork was marinated perfectly and wasn't tough. The noodles, 'salad' and fried spring roll were good. Everything tasted very fresh and flavorful. I loved the sauces the meal came with and didn't need any extras. The pork chop rice was also good. I ordered potstickers which look like the potstickers from Trader Joe's that I could've fried myself. I ordered Pad Thai and the noodles were not the type of noodles that are used for Pad Thai. We love Thai places and have been looking for a decent one in South Naperville. This is primarily a Vietnamese Udon noodle place but has some Thai and Chinese dishes. At the time it was rated 4 stars on here so we gave it a try. Well, save your time. The service was lackluster and the food was mushy and lacked flavor. Doesn't take much for their specialty spicy coconut chicken and vegetable dish I had or a Pad Thai my girlfriend tried, but it was not good at all. This restaurant has a wide variety of things on their menu! I got a mango and coconut smoothie which was really good. I also ordered the Pho and my brother ordered a chicken dish. His came out in good time, but I waited for my Pho for at least 20 minutes after his dish came out. The pho was pretty good and they had a variety of options even for just pho on the menu. My brother ordered an Aloe drink and waited 20 minutes for it, even though it was in the refrigerator (didn't have to be made or anything, just brought to the table). Noodles pho u is a great spot for Vietnamese food in the south naperville area. The pho is really good and the portion is ginormous! The menu is extensive and has other pan-Asian options. Another one of my favorites here is the beef teriyaki over baked rice!! This is the only place I know where to get this dish and the baked rice is awesome. The lo mein has changed and I would not recommend it. If you're looking for a noodle dish I would suggest the Singapore noodles, that are fantastic! There are also many different options for fried rice. The Vietnamese fried rice is a unique type that I have not had until eating here. This is a great little restaurant and is great for any group of 2-4 family, friends, and kids. This place is right off of route 59 and open late which is very convenient but this place lacks a few things. After coming here a handful of times (because we couldn't find a better alternative for pho), the service and the food both need help. Every time we sat down at a table, we were often ignored. At first I thought it was because of the corner we had picked to sit at but after sitting right in the middle of the dining room and still having terrible service, I wasn't convinced. Many times, the pho lacks so much flavor that no amount of salt, siracha or Hoisin sauce could save it. I'm not usually one to even put those in but this soup was like drinking hot water. We were actually leaving out because we were unsatisfied with how our meal was prepared when Twe insisted, almost demanded, that we come back and tell her exactly what we did and didn't like about our dishes and have them again FREE OF CHARGE!
