I ordered their basic smash, which was just $10 (a screaming deal in today's economy). I did pay for quite the generous $4 side of fries, too. It was allll so good. The smash burger was dripping with cheesy goodness, and the shoestring-style fries were perfectly crispy, salty, and a lovely accompaniment to the burger (and my Oktoberfest beer). The pepper was stuffed with a HUGE chunk of cotija cheese. Yes, the menu mentioned this, but I hadn't really considered the ramifications. Cotija is super salty, and that amount of it being loaded into the pepper resulted in a non-melted, solid mass of what tasted like pure salt. The relleno was pretty much inedible. I removed the cotija and just ate the pepper along with the accompanying rice and beans. It was not my finest relleno moment. Other than that, the experience wasn't bad. The place is quaint and clean, and the servers were very friendly. I probably should have just said something about the relleno, but also I felt like it was my fault because the menu did specify cotija. I just hadn't considered how salty that might be. If someone from the business reads this, please try the relleno yourself - it was NOT good. :(

Tartar sauce had a slight honey mustard taste which was a nice change. The bad: prices have gone up since last persons post 9 months ago. Items have increased $2-$3 dollars since then. Someone claiming the burgers were huge and could barely finish half of one, also confirmed by staff they were huge, was not so the case. It was a standard size burger I would compare to slightly shorter than a Big Mac at McDonald's. Other critique was the gravy on the poutine was slightly on the salty side as well. Dining bonus they give you 10% of at picnics ice cream and dessert place that is located next door. Overall it was a nice lunch but will cost you a considerate amount being in a tourist area.
