Fantastic Indian food. Best we've had. Price is 19.89 for buffet. And it is more than well worth it. Staff is great. Atmosphere is good too. Nice clean place. Foot seating. They have a bar and plate ordering. But huffed is where it's at. I recommend getting to it around 11:00 when they open. It fills quick and only goes to 2:00. Each food item is better than the last. I was excited to make the trip down to this restaurant. I finally had the opportunity when meeting a friend for lunch. The ambience and the decor were on point. The specials were well priced and interesting. Sadly, it went downhill from there. Our service was subpar At. Best. Having to flag down someone for water multiple times was an annoyance. Having our server turned her back to us when we were trying to signal her for a check was beyond frustrating. Samosa was lukewarm. Sauces were flavorful, but completely lacking in spice. The salad was drenched to the point of being nearly in edible. The saag paneer and butter chicken were flavorless, completely lacking in any spice or much flavor. Tried this place out with the wife and family. I've seen it on Clear Lake Yelp lists and wanted to give it a shot. It is located off NASA Rd Parkway inside a tight strip center. The inside is pretty nice - high ceiling, cool light fixtures, spacious, a bar area and very clean - given that the exterior makes you think it'll will have a small interior. We ordered a couple of starters: the Chaat Papdi (semolina cracker, potato, garbanzo, sev, yogurt, tamarind & mint chutney) and the Gobi Manchurian (lightly battered cauliflower tossed in spicy tomato sauce). Both were DELICIOUS- plenty of flavor, fresh and the Gobi had a little kick to it. For entrees, I ordered the Biryani with chicken and medium heat (a "2 out of 5" on the heat scale, per the waitress) - a huge portion of rice mixed with spices and chicken. It was amazing; the heat was definitely there, so I'd recommend no more than a "2" if you don't like spice... they don't play around. My wife and fam got the chicken marsala ("0" heat), the Vegetarian Delight and the Mulligatawny soup ("0" heat) and everyone happily enjoyed theirs, as well. Service started out great (good recommendations, attentive), but by the end our waitress seemed to disappear and we ended up staying past closing time waiting for a drink refill, to-go boxes and the check. Overall, a solid experience and another place I am happy to add to my Clear Lake list. This place has been here a while, but I wished I would have tried it sooner. I was rather brutal on my first review of this restaurant. On our visit (a few months) back, they stopped serving white wine by the glass. Turns out, they only did that for a few days. Great buffet and nice waitstaff. Came right when they opened and it wasn't too busy until we left at noon and saw folks coming in and a packed parking lot. Daal makhani is my favorite dish but I have to say it wasn't the best dish here. It was decent and lacked some robust flavor. The sambhar on the other hand was superb, naans and pulao were amazing, fish curry was delicious, the sweet potato salad mix was the best thing I've eaten, and the curry vegetables were fresh and delicious. Our waiter didn't know how to pronounce any of the food names, and his eyes kept rolling to the back of his head . We ordered vegetable Samosa as our appetizer, along with a dosa . Both were very delicious! We then ordered our main dishes that were lamb korma and chicken Karahi, we ordered both mild, but the chicken dish was very spicy for kids. Arguably the best Indian food I had in Texas. Its a beautiful setup to enter with. Nice decor and ambience. They have kept it really well. We went for dinner and were greeted with gracious smiles. We were seated immediately. We ordered one lassi, one veg sampler and one non veg sampler. It came with salad, samosa, kebab, chicken curry, saag paneer, malai kofta, dal makhani, garlic naan and kheer. And everything was top notch. This is the best Indian lunch buffet in the greater Houston area! I've been going to this place since it was Cuisine of India down the road. Many years later, the quality is still just as good, if not better. Noon Mirch has stepped it up in terms of atmosphere. They've decorated it very nicely inside, I would expect the food to cost way more here if I had walked in for the first time! I always go for the lunch buffet so can't really comment on the a la carte or dinner options. But the Chicken Tikka Masala is always my fave. I avoid filling up on the basmati rice just so I can have more of the hot, pillowy naan and batura breads. The fried food addict in me is a sucker for the pakoras (assorted fried spinach, onions, potatoes, jalapeños). The saag paneer is always on point and is just the right amount of cheesiness. The chicken meatballs are perfectly spiced and have a bit of tanginess to them, which you can balance out with the mixed vegetables (cauliflower, broccoli, carrots). The tandoori chicken is always moist on the inside and flavorful throughout. Want me to keep going??? For desserts, I absolutely love their kheer (rice pudding). It's the perfect way to end such a satisfying meal. They also have other assorted dessert pastries I've tried before, but 4 times out of 5, I'm too full from everything else to try all the desserts. Table service is top notch, as the servers are always coming by to check on us and take away dirty plates. At the buffet line, kitchen staff is always coming by to refill with fresh food. I always look forward to satisfying my Indian food cravings here because I can get everything I want (and more) in one meal! Vibe- Such a nice restaurant! They have a vegan menu, just ask for one if you need it. They have plenty of seating including a very nice bar with about 13 barstools. There's 2 flatscreen TVs at the bar to watch while you dine. Customer service- Amazing! Food/drinks- I came specifically to try the seasonal bar drinks because I've seen them advertised on Instagram! We saw the great reviews for Noon Mirch. We were in the Webster area and decided to try it out. We thought the concept was unique and would definitely return! Really love the soy chicken option. The ambience is great and the place was busy on the Saturday night we visited. We had a short wait for a table. We tried death wings, vegetable momos and soy chicken masala. The death wings were delicious but very very spicy. I found myself going back for more bites because of the tasty flavor, but immediately regretting it due to the spice. I didn't like the momos as much as other yelpers seemed to enjoy it, but did like the soy chicken masala. Service was just ok overall. They didn't seem to know what to do with the yelp check in offer (free glass of house wine) and only brought it out when we mentioned it. They also charged us for it at the end of the meal. Solid Indian food in the Webster/Clear Lake area with a nice ambiance and attentive service! My only complaint would be the prices, which are a bit on the pricier side in comparison to other Indian restaurants I've been to in my hometown. That being said, the prices are on par with Aga's in Houston. Otherwise, it was a good experience. For drinks, our table tried the Jhoom Jhoom mango lassi and the Indian summer cooler. I really enjoyed the flavors of both and thought it was a creative twist on some classic Indian drinks. The chai was aight - flavorful but a little too unsweetened for my liking. Food-wise, we did the gobi manchurian, lamb biryani, and chicken korma. The gobi manchurian was tangy, spicy, and crispy -- it was a hit with the table. The chicken korma and lamb biryani were nutty and had nice flavors. This was my third visit to Noon Mirch and they haven't let me down - it's a reliably good place for Indian food in the area and I would say the drinks are what stood out the most to me! read more

Was at Noon Mirch recently. We found the food to be outstanding. The service was quick. The restaurant has a modern vibe to it and is pleasant to dine in. We had the feast for 2. It was a bit pricey, but it was a LOT of great quality food. The fried veggies (pakora?) were nice. The lamb samosa was good. Then came some grilled meats and 3 main dishes. The tandoori lamb slices were so tender and mild, i thought it was either goat or beef. The grilled chicken was good. The tandoori chicken was a bit spicy, which was a nice take on it. There was also a grilled ground chicken that reminded me of a Middle Eastern Kufta. I left the shrimp for my guest as I don't eat them. The curries were a shrimp curry, a chicken tikka masala and a saag paneer. All were very good. We tend to judge Indian restaurants by their saag, and this one was excellent. Creamy, flavorful and not salty. We will definitely go back for some of their specialties. I also noted some ethnic Indian folks there, which also tells you something. Been here a few times -- with my most recent visit being last Saturday -- to where I felt my three-star review from 2019 deserved a much-needed update. "The restaurant is clean and pristine. Very classy ambience without any snootiness." Thankfully, that's still true. A lot has changed in the last three years with COVID-19 and all, but N&M hasn't lost a step in its upkeep. The staff continues to treat their customers very well. "The selection of food is solid, but because I gave up chicken for Lent, my options were a bit limited . . . I'm sure their tandoori chicken and tikka masala are exceptionally delicious." Both dishes met my expectations, but if I were to choose, I prefer the tikka masala. I had been wanting to try Indian food for the first time but was intimidated luckily I was graced to meet Sam. I let Sam be my guide through the menu and he did not disappoint he was eager to take the time to explain how they made things and offer recommendations. The food was a bonus to the service I received everything was excellent and flavorful I'll definitely be returning to try more of Sam's recs. Restaurant is nice dimly lit with a low ambiance music. We recently celebrated my eldest 21st birthday and he wanted to go here. We had made a reservation ahead of time and told them what we are celebrating. 5 starts to the awesome hostess that greeted us, the place was beautiful and clean. Our waitress is what knocked down two stars for this review. She kept on forgetting about us, had to flag her down so many times for drink refills, didn't even ask if she we or if the birthday boy wanted dessert. Food was great, huge portion. We had a a couple of orders of the feast for 2, platter for one, lamb chops that I forgot to take a pic of and a few other items. With everyone hungry , these were a light option to get us going... sauces were flavorful; the crust was flaky and the filling plentiful! My friends took over the ordering and we were just too busy to take pics!! We ordered some chicken tikki masala along with the jalepeno cheddar naan!! FIREEEEE One masala was level 1 and the other a 4, spice was great on both but the naan was super fresh and spicy!! Great jalepeno heat!! We also had the Paranjabi (sp) curry and this vegetarian dish did not disappoint!! I wish I'd caught the servers name because he was lovely and seemed to really care about the food... the restaurant was a little chilly for a rainy day but with this weather all over the place how can you even prepare!! We were in Galveston on vacation and I looked up ethnic restaurants. We came across this one located in Webster, which was on our way home. It made sense to stop in. It also made sense because one reviewers said it was the best Indian restaurant he had ever been in. I have to agree. It is the most years beautiful dining room. Really great service. The menu was so extensive that you could order just about anything. We started with the chicken samosas. We had never tried anything other than the traditional samosas so the chicken one was really good and the darker sauce was a perfect match. My husband ordered chicken curry and that was amazing. I ordered stuffed eggplant and wasn't sure if it would be a hit or miss because it's so outside of the box. It was so amazing and so different from anything I've ever had in a restaurant. If I remember correctly, it was eggplant, raisins and nuts mixed till creamy and smooth. What a beautiful presentation. I would strongly suggest ordering it just to share with everybody at the table to taste it. I loved how they presented the rice in a bowl with a few peas on top to make it look so pretty. Such a little effort to show that they care about what they put out. We got the mixed vegetables cooked in tomato sauce and I have to say they are the best I have ever had. If I go back and just get that I would be happy. I did not care for the naan as it was not the traditional naan I am used to. But that did not stop me from giving this review five stars. I got the bread pudding for dessert which didn't blow me away, but it was OK. And we got some of the cookies to go, which were really good. While we were sitting there, some old fashions were delivered to a table near us and the aroma was so amazing. It was like a campfire on the beach. If you remember to order one, I don't think you'll be disappointed. Next time we go, we will order one. We also will have to try their buffet which is Friday through Sunday from 11 AM to 3 PM and under $20 per person. They are three hours away from us so next time we go will be when we are in Galveston again. I wish they would open one in new Braunfels. read more

If I could rate this place a 0, I would. The service and the food was not outstanding in anyway. We ordered appetizers and the waitress completely for got to give it to us. The food was very cold, the utensils were drenched in the food on the plate when they served us. After speaking to the manager, we told him for the appetizers, we ordered the assorted the Samosas-Chicken, Vegetable and Lamb. He said it was "on him" and he only gave us 2 Samosas and only Vegetable. The manager is completely incompetent and I would not recommend coming to this Indian joint. My husband works close to this location so when I went to work with them 1 day we went over here to have lunch together before heading home, which is quite the ways away. First off-- Since we live so far away, we were going to just order food and pick it up and eat it at home, but I'm glad that we didn't because personally I feel like this place is a little too expensive for just picking up and going and you are coming here half for the ambiance. The service and the ambiance is what makes this place. Secondly-- nothing irks me more than when food is supposed to be crunchy comes to the table soggy and not so crunchy, and thankfully they did it right. The appetizers were crunchy and delightful. Third-- we had the sampler for 2 for $52, which was wonderfully delicious. I didn't love the baarfi and would have loved to get some other dessert or options for a dessert instead. I wanted to order the Mulligatawny Soup only because of that one Seinfeld episode (iykyk) but I saved it for next time, just to ensure there will be a next time. read more

Over all I really like this place. As you can tell Bob my name I really enjoy curry. Vindaloo is my go to favorite, and finding a good vindaloo in Texas very hard to do. A good vindaloo should be spicy and bring the heat. A good vindaloo should make you sweat and enjoy all the spices that make you hotter than hot. Noon Mirch makes a very respectable plate of Vindaloo. Vindaloo is my baseline for all Indian food. It brings on a mild sweat from all of the spices. If you are new to Indian food spiciness and want to try something that is definitely out of most people's comfort zone. You should try the vindaloo here. read more
