Visited Noosa for my wife's birthday and she was happy. Very nice atmosphere, very friendly staff. Excellent selection on the menu. We started with some calamari & a bruschetta. Both were excellent appetizers. My wife got the prime rib and loved it, said it was perfect. I enjoyed the soy ginger salmon and it was full of flavor. My daughter had the lamb rack and she raved. Overall an excellent experience

I'm surprised at some of the mediocre ratings. My daughter and I visited on a Friday, at lunch, and we truly enjoyed our meals. The food was definitely a 5, the service had a few hiccups, which brought the overall rating down, by 1 star. The restaurant was nicely decorated for the Holiday, and there was a company Christmas party in the main dining room, so seating was limited. We were seated at a high top in the bar area, which was fine. It appeared that the bartender was responsible for everyone in the bar area, but he was pretty efficient. We ordered lunch cocktails, a holiday mule and margarita. The margarita was STRONG, but tasty. We also ordered entrees. I ordered the veggie wrap with fries and my daughter ordered the mahi mahi sandwich and fries. Our food arrived a short time later. I received the veggie pizza, instead of the veggie wrap, in error. The server and bartender apologized and proceeded correct the order, and offered free dessert as an accommodation. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed her sandwich. The veggie wrap was excellent, perfectly roasted veggies, nicely seasoned accompanied by thick, hand-cut fries....yum! We decided on the peanut butter parfait for dessert and received the key lime parfait, instead. The bartender immediately switched out the incorrect dessert for the correct one. All-in-all, we really enjoyed our meals and will absolutely return.

The ambience is pretty good, a half way upscale joint that has nice dining in the back but more diner bar vibes up front. Menu has some pretty good options, and they have nice specials (sirloin meal and walleye fillet ~$20). Service was more upscale but not the most attentive. Food was good, not a ton of veggies in my portion of their swordfish risotto dish--which left me feeling unsatisfied appetite-wise after my meal. Swordfish had a nice cream sauce but otherwise was simply grilled, perhaps too much. But a good thick white meat with a mild flavor, if that is your preference.

Tried for the first time this week. Remember it from when it was on Mentor Ave, but had yet to try this location. Decided to sit at the bar. Atmosphere is nice, - bright and open. Started with happy hour apps of a house salad and lamb lollipops. Salad was great and perfect size w/a dinner. Lamb lollipops were good, but pricey for the portion. I ordered the chicken Marsala for dinner and husband ordered the surf and turf special which was a 12 oz ribeye with shrimp. The ribeye was good, but the cut was a little disappointing. It had a lot of slices in it - so wasn't a solid piece of steak. Was still delicious and cooked great (med rare). My Marsala was amazing and the sauce was soo good. I was surprised a salad didn't come with our meal. For an upscale restaurant- it just seemed odd to me. Overall was really good. If we lived closer we would probably try again, but didn't knock our socks off :)

Less than 5 ounces of salmon for this price. Get outta here.

Noosa- I've eaten here dozens of time. But I'm done. Your prices are out of control. Good food? Sure. But multiple $30+ entrees? You're not that good, it's embarrassing.

After checking in, received the coupon for 10% shown below. When shown to the server, she was unaware of it. Showed to manager and he did not know of it. He said the coupon would not be honored because the restaurant doesn't do coupons. YELP! must fix this. The manager should have, out of courtesy to a customer, honored the discount. Very unfortunate that a YELP! offering is not being honored.

I came to Noosa Bistro with my fiance and our friends. We had a great time. Food was very delish. and different. My cousin and I had dinner this evening at Noosa Bistro. The hot, fresh bread and butter was a good way to start the meal, and we thoroughly enjoyed our dinners: both the food and the gourmet presentation. We were served giant mugs of coffee with our dessert. Everything was so delicious and fresh. The décor is inviting and comfortable. Our waitress was friendly and very efficient, and served us our food piping hot. We had a top quality meal, and a lovely evening. read more

Where to begin? I've been going to Noosa for over a decade because it is the most premium dining establishment in Mentor. That's not hyperbole - it is as upscale as it gets. But surprisingly the prices stay competitive with ordinary establishments, especially with how large the portions are. The real kicker is the martinis! I'm not sure how they do it, but they seem stronger and with a richer a flavor than elsewhere. So smooth and your whole night will be glowing after even just one. Which brings me to my why Noosa has become so important to me. I had met a beautiful woman online who I knew I had to impress big time when we first met. I took her to the most intimate and fun place to get martinis at: Noosa Bistro. It paid off and we were married exactly four years later. Of course we went back to eat there on our wedding day! The tl;dr? Noosa Bistro is at the top of its class in elegance and price, but you'll leave laughing and smiling with your date after a great night. read more

The worst night out I have had in a long time. Went there because we had coupons. Two of the dinners (out of 4) were inedible. Ran out of bread as soon as we got there. Prime rib was well done and not med rare as ordered. Halibut was hard as rock. Then they would not honor the coupons because we had to return 2 of the meals. Waitress disappeared everytime she dropped something off. Waited 1/2 hour just to order, then an hour for horrible food. Manager not helpful at all, just said "sorry." Will be a cold day before I return to this place. read more

First time at the new location and it's starting off terrible, first off I am a Resturant owner myself. My wife ordered a drink "neat" with cranberry on the side, the bartender comes back 15-20 minutes later with a martini style drink with cranberry. Ok no big deal, my wife let her know it's not what she ordered and waited for her to come back with the correct drink. The server comes back with about a half ounce of liquor in a large snifter, everyone looked at the drink and asked the waiter " is that a full shot"?, she tells us that it was the last of the bottle.. my wife then asks for the manager...big mistake! The manager comes over, very loud and condescending, dismissing the problem prior to hearing our complaint. We were only seeking to provide information where we were belittled and offered some comp dessert in place of some constructive feedback. In an industry where the customer is always right, I guess if your "son" is the bartender where you repeatedly say "I know he wouldn't pour a short drink" as if we were lying... be prepared for him to let you know your complaint is not justified. He literally kept loudly saying what is it that you want a free drink?! Like really? No we don't want anything from you, we want you to know that you just lost 4 potential customers. We just had to share about our experience, which was THE ABSOLUTE BEST we've had anywhere, including many big chain restaurants, in over a decade. Our server was Kim, who was extremely efficient, helpful and friendly. We always hesitate to try somewhere slightly more expensive, knowing the possibility of a hit or miss. This was a BIG HIT! Our food was so good, we'd have paid double and still felt like we got our money's worth. We ordered the Stuffed Chicken Special and the Butternut Ravioli, which were both phenomenal! We also had Tomato Bisque soup, Chocolate Mousse and Creme Brulee, which were all excellent. We had begun to be disillusioned with reading positive restaurant reviews followed by negative experiences. It felt like the standard for great food had fallen so low that bad had become good. Noosa Bistro restored our faith that someone out there knows how to make food that tastes like it came from your Great Grandmother's kitchen- food based on fresh and genuine taste not food based on salts and sugars. The atmosphere was very relaxing and welcoming. The decor was ok and could probably use some remodeling or updating but when it comes down to it, are you going to eat somewhere because someone highly recommends the food or the interior design? good atmosphere and good food but not worth the price, had a realy noisy couple behind up getting tanked off of there good martinis and no staff members told them to please quiet down, other than that its one of the better places to eat in the area if your willing to pay the price. read more

Then you can wash it down with lemonade or a great beer. The gentleman who I believe owns the spot is really awesome. The staff is friendly and always ready to help. Anyone who walks up front makes the experience even better. It's amazing that even with dozens of people, they are able to remember us and even what we like. The building is nice too. Great music is always playing and full of life. They have a patio if you want to enjoy your food in the charming area of Mentor. They cool art on the wall and theirs enough room for everyone. If you're ever in the mentor area, drop by you'll be glad you did.

The restaurantvwas a little more casual than I envisioned, but we were seated right away. The hostess/server took our order and our entrees arrived a short time later. We each ordered the bento box dinner. I ordered shrimp, my daughter ordered chicken. Each bento box comes with soup, salad, protein of choice, vegetables, noodles or rice, California sushi roll and 2 mini spring rolls, for just a little over $20. The serving was more than generous, the soup was a nice starter, the salad was crisp & fresh, nicely dressed with a tasty ginger dressing. The actual meal was very good, the veggies, were fresh, and perfectly cooked, along with our protein. The noodles were a little more cooked than I would have liked, I'd probably get fried rice the next time. The sushi roll was tasty, as was the spring rolls. We had dinner last weekend with another couple, everything was truly delicious.The hostess was friendly and inviting, as was our server. The menu offers quite alot of variety, seafood, steaks, chicken, pasta . We shared 2 appetizers, the calamari, delicious, tasted the ginger snaps coating, and the fresh oysters served on the half shell. Both starters were fresh and well presented. We all ordered salads, the house salad was my favorite, our companions ordered the wedge which was huge! and the beet salad, my husband ordered the warm spinach salad, all were very good, and generous portion sizes. I like the small touches, including the chilled salad forks. The complementary bread was served hot with an herb butter,so good! Dinners came out and were paced nicely, I ordered the special, Barramundi with saffron jasmine rice topped with a light picatta sauce and asparagus, my husband ordered the rack of Lamb which he claims was out of this world, our friends had the soy ginger salmon and the seabass, again both raved about their meals, all had great presentation. By the time the desserts were presented we were all pretty full, but opted to split the homemade tiramisu, it was very good. I also had a cappucino while the others ordered coffee. This was a most pleasant evening, I cannot thing of anything negative to share. Well, another local establishment that has done a FANTASTIC job with take-out dining! Kids decided to surprise Mom with a take-out dinner for her birthday on 4/27. One was responsible for dinner, the other the cake. Dinner was from here and what a great meal it was. First, appetizers. Beet salad w/homemade dressing and loaded brussel sprouts. Well since I am NOT a brussel sprouts guy, and Linda is, easy choice here. Both were spot on and the brussel sprouts were STILL warm even in transportation. (quick nuke job warmed them up!) The salad was enough to serve each with a serving left over!! Entree: One, Cajun Pasta. OMG! Shrimp; piece of grilled fish; sausage all served over a linguini in a cream sauce!! We went to Noosa last Saturday and had a wonderful time.The food was EXCELLENT (I recommend the crab stuffed bleu filet, it was the best filet i have ever had) and the prices actually weren't too bad! The martini list was incredible! So many choices, and the size of each are huge (I had a chocolate covered pretzel martini). And dessert was wonderful as well. I recommend the carmel apple bread pudding. My husband had the cheese cake of the day (I think it was white chocolate raspberry) and he said it was delicious as well. Overall, we had a wonderful time. The decor was lovely, and the atmosphere was very relaxed, with smooth jazz in the background. I highly reccomment this restaurant to anyone who is considering it. Had so much fun for my moms 70th birthday dinner at noosa. Our cute server adrian (Yo, Adrian!) was great and helped us pick out martinis we knew we would personally love. Mom got the x rated vacation and I got the special of the month, PUMPKIN PIE!! For dinner mom had the Mahi Mahi, which Adrian recommended, didn't disappoint and I had the stuffed salmon. Had to try on recommendation of several friends, hard to believe i pass by this a few times per week, so finally went with friends last week and was blown away, food delicious, inventive, nice portion sized, prices in line and inventive creative menu. was told by server that many items are faves with the locals, so specials are very popular as well. i opted for their clambake special, and was excellent and great value. The new place is fantastic! Starting with the hostess's Kim and Susan( owner) they were both very kind and welcoming. The service and food were both fantastic. My boyfriend and I both had the salmon, it was fabulous! The salads were great, and the warm bread served with warm roasted garlic and olive oil is delightful. The servers were working very hard ( it was very busy) and all were very friendly. We love this place and will definitely be back. Terrible service. Our waitress barely stopped by our table and she spent most of her time sitting at another table with people she knew for over 20 minutes while she was on the job. We then saw her leave and drive off in the middle of our dinner without saying anything and no one seemed to have taken her spot. This has seriously been one of my favorite restaurants for a few years now, and I am a picky person. The food is always delicious, the staff is usually attentive. The atmosphere is great! I've been in for quick lunches, dinner dates, business meetings, the works; and I'm always happy! I have had the noosa stuffed chicken and the seared sea scallops. lunch is a great option for great food at a more reasonable price. I have taken advantage of that often. Great food, great specials. The chef is really trying to bring some new tastes to Lake County and she is doing a great job. Drinks are excellent as well. Decor is a little meh, and somebody likes to hang strings of lights (Gordon Ramsay would rip them down) but if you can ignore the decor you should enjoy the food. read more
