The coffee here is phenomenally great tasting. So if you want good coffee this is the place to go to. Nothing special about it's just good old-fashioned coffee. Our waitress was very friendly in tentative as well as knowledgeable of the menu. Come to find out that she's worked there many many years. I guess you might say we hit the jackpot when it came to being waited on. It's an old building in the middle of downtown so parking is very limited however we got there was able to park right out front. The restaurant itself is very clean and the walls had been painted in recent months. They have a soda fountain so you can get drinks with ice cream or just a dish of ice cream. Our food came out and was hot and adequate in size. Omelette had fresh ingredients in it and it was very tasty and cooked the production. I had the skillet and the eggs were done perfectly as I requested. The hashbrowns were good and had fresh green peppers and really good sausage in it. The food was brought out within 10 minutes of ordering. Our waitress checked on us a few times to make sure our drinks were full. The price of our meals were average and consistent with other cafés we have eaten at in the area. We did not leave hungry! Called ahead to see if they would have a table. We walked in and our table was waiting for us. They serve breakfast and lunch. There's a huge menu! Some of us tried the daily soup which was navy bean and chicken noodle. Both tasted homemade and were delicious. Some had omelettes, biscuits and gravy, chicken, and waffles, & burgers. Service was excellent. It's a cozy neighborhood spot. Prices were extremely reasonable. In fact, all of us ate extremely well and brought home leftovers. Amazingly the cost was only a little more than a chain sandwich shop where we had ordered eight sandwiches the night before. And we didn't even get chips just sandwiches.
