This was my first visit to this store since they moved to inside of the mall. It looks like it's…read moresmaller than the store in Americana. For service, I can say staff are nice and friendly. Staff working on the floor greeted me and asked me, if I need help. This was a nice gesture and appreciate the friendliness. They have a variety of candles, mugs and plates. They have a really nice selection of the fall/ Halloween merchandises. I couldn't decide which one to pick since all of them were nice. I got a fall themed mug. This store is pricey compared to the other stores which sell similar merchandises. For parking, this store is located in the mall. I would suggest parking in the parking lot close to Bloomingdale's side since it's close.

Absolutely terrible customer service…read more I was told by one of the employees that I could return my jeans as long as I brought the tag with me, and that it did not need to be attached to the jeans. I drove back to the store based on that information, only for the manager to refuse the return because the tag wasn't attached. So I wasted my time and gas because your employees gave me incorrect information, and instead of taking responsibility for the mistake, the manager simply turned me away. This is one of the worst customer service experiences I've had. The staff clearly aren't trained consistently, and the manager had no interest in helping resolve a problem that your own employee created. Customer service should be about finding solutions, not making customers pay for your team's mistakes. I won't be shopping here again, and I definitely wouldn't recommend this store to anyone.

I walked past her, and after several seconds, I said hello. Her response seemed forced and annoyed hello. Five or ten minutes later, her coworker came from the back to clock out. No acknowledgment from her either. It was just the two of us in the store. I perused the whole store looking at the outfits. Not once did this salesperson ask me if I needed help or acknowledge my existence. She ignored me the whole time. With employees like her, it is no surprise why retail stores shutter. She was a horrible representative for this store. I could have purchased many of the clothes, however, I chose to leave and made my purchases online. But I will say this- One of my daughters bought a couple pairs of earrings. Super simple, small hoops with a little star hanging from them. The next day a couple-worker correctly spotted them by brand??!!! It made me realize teen/young adult girls are REALLY into this brand & despite lack of labels, they all just KNOW that things are from this store! I didn't experience any problems per se, and the cashier was actually helpful in getting me my gift card. FYI it's not a typical plastic card- rather receipts in an envelope. *If your gift card is meant to be a surprise don't give them the recipient's email!* They email you a copy right away. We did see the staff confront a shoplifter, who defiantly claimed she shopped there a lot and wore her basic white rank into the store (clearly a lie). Definitely lack of strong management skills displayed by the employees on the floor as no one really knew how to handle that situation (I worked retail for years). I was there with two 10-year-olds, so it was especially disappointing for them to witness that kind of behavior from an employee. Brandy Melville really needs to work on customer service training. A simple greeting, willingness to help, and basic respect toward customers should be expected. The clothes may be cute, but the customer experience definitely was not.

She told me, with a rather unnecessary attitude, that next time I should put the items back on the hangers myself. I was surprised because I had never been told this was a store policy before. I later politely asked another employee whether customers are required to rehang clothes after trying them on. He confirmed that there is no such rule and that rehanging items is simply a courtesy. I completely understand that putting clothes back on hangers is helpful to the staff, and I'm happy to do so as a courtesy. However, there is a big difference between politely asking a customer for help and correcting them as though they have violated a store policy when no such policy exists. The interaction was minor, but the attitude was unnecessary and definitely affected my experience at this location.

There was an employee there but they were busy fixing a garment I believe. They helped me after a bit once they realized I needed something, but I feel like if they were assigned there then they should have asked for my go backs right away. I don't want to accidentally mess up their rack and make it harder for them later. If they weren't assigned there and were just recovering, then I totally understand that it wasn't their responsibility. But then I feel like someone should be assigned there so clothes don't end up in the wrong place. I was able to leave the top on the correct rack, and checkout was pretty quick. Overall, I had a good experience and I would go back to this location.

I recently had the pleasure of shopping for kids' shoes at Nordstrom at The Americana and was truly impressed by the exceptional service provided by Nicole, the sales associate in the kids' department. As a mother of twin four-year-olds, I know firsthand how overwhelming it can be to shop for kids' shoes. But from the moment I walked up to the counter, Nicole greeted me with a warm and friendly smile and immediately put me at ease. She listened attentively to my needs and offered helpful recommendations based on my children's shoe sizes and style preferences. She also went above and beyond by bringing out multiple sizes and styles for my daughter and son to try on, ensuring that we had plenty of options to choose from. But what really stood out to me was Nicole's patience and understanding. My children can be quite picky when it comes to shoes and it can be a bit overwhelming trying to find the right fit. Nicole, however, remained calm and supportive throughout the process, never once making us feel rushed or pressured. She took the time to ensure that each pair of shoes fit properly and were comfortable for my daughter and son, which was greatly appreciated. In the end, we decided on a pair of Converse sneakers for my son and a pair of Stride Rite sandals for my daughter. I went to Nordstrom to buy a new pair of shoes. I went to the shoe department right away, but no one seems to be there. There are no associates to assist the customers. So I went on and choose the shoes that I want. I tried it on and wanting to get a new stock, but I can't seem to find someone to ask to. I looked for about 30 minutes and there's really no one to assist me. And because I really want the shoes, I decided to look around again, and there I saw a lady and ask her to get me a new pair. She took the shoe without saying anything. I'm not really sure if she's going to get me a new pair or what. Then, I waited for another 15 minutes for the lady, and another 10 minutes more. Then I saw her passed by me. I asked her about the shoe and I was amazed that she was actually surprised. Then she went away again and after 10 minutes, I was about to go somewhere else, she approached and told that there's no available with my size. I'm really disappointed! OMG! I meant to do this review sooner but I came across a MAC artist her name is Vanessa. She was super helpful and made me feel so welcomed in the store! She was VERY knowledgeable about the brand and helped me pick out some amazing products that I need to replenish on. She even helped me as so much is to figure out how to apply eyeshadow and what colors to put on and gave me a full-blown lesson which led to me buying more products! She is a very down-to-earth person making sure I had everything I need was asking, open-ended questions, even figuring out exactly what would be beneficial for my day-to-day life. I loved her transparency and being honest about products. She was also even recommending me some non-MAC products that she thought would also be good recommendations. I had a really disappointing experience at the Nordstrom at the Americana in Glendale, specifically in the kids department. I came in to complete a return that I had already processed online, expecting it to be quick and easy. Instead, it turned into a frustrating and unnecessarily difficult experience. The associate who helped me, Kaylen, was rude from the start and gave me a hard time about completing the return, even though everything had already been pre-approved. On top of that, the wait time was excessive, and her attitude made the whole situation worse. She came across as disrespectful and unprofessional, which is not what I expect from Nordstrom. I've always associated Nordstrom with great customer service, but this experience completely missed the mark. Lol I had set up an appointment with her for makeup and I'm really glad I got her as my makeup artist! She is very knowledgeable about the mac products and my makeup looked STUNNING!!! I bought a pair of pants for my husband and cannot begin to tell you how nasty the employee was. I wish I knew his name because I wanted to call and complain, something I never do. Bitchy, judgy, "can't be bothered" attitudes work in TV and film but this isn't "Pretty Woman" and Nordstrom in Glendale isn't Beverly Hills. Pro-Tip, if your funds are low, you can use a Nordstrom Gift Card for their cafe and guess what..... they serve alcohol - yeah baby! So, I am a Glendale native and I miss the good ole days of the Nordies inside the GG with the grand piano. I preferred Nordstrom's location when it was in the Glendale Mall. I initially thought that if it is was being moved to the Americana, then it will be bigger and improved. Although it is very clean and new, it lacks merchandise. There isn't that large of a selection, very low inventory. We do have a Cosmo rep who comes into our salon and submits our large orders, but I do frequent this location about once a week to grab a few things. As a salon manger who doesn't have much time to spend running errands I can usually get in and out within minutes. I am always welcomed with a personal greeting using my first name and asked if there is anything the girls can do to help me find anything. It definitely makes the experience better when you feel welcomed and acknowledged! So thank you to the girls who make my shopping experience quick and painless! They sell products from top brands such as L'Oréal, Claerol, Wella & Chi. Even though I didn't really find the brush that I was looking for, Hannah was kind and helpful. To me prices were tad expensive. Parking lot is shared with other businesses, and I don't know anything about their restroom situation. I will return next time I am in the area.

Thanks to the recent smash-and-grab shoplifting gangs, there's security in each store, with ropes out front and timed entry. Just like bouncers at the club. Inside, so long as unlimited funds are available, it's all good. I'm a big hobo bag guy, and the leather bags for any gender are classic and timeless. Shoes and other accessories are also looking good this year. Some amazing sunglasses you won't see anywhere else. It's definitely one of the prettiest stores off Rodeo Drive, with lots of glass and soaring high ceilings. Sales staff know their stuff! Definitely not for the meek, but worth the splurge.
