Shelly was my server and she was awesome. The one start definitely not for her. Got my food after a long wait. My food came with a hair. I told them, is ok just make it over again. Manager Oscar, took it upon I'm self just to replace the fries and brought me the same sandwich and presented to me as a new one. As far as restaurant chains like this go, this is better than Denny's & ihop. Plus they serve alcohol. So service was great, we got a male host (I think he was a manager) who was awesome. & our waitress was nice and funny. The ambiance was decent. Clean, well-lit and modern. The food was good... but not great. We got a lot, chicken, a sampler platter, waffles, hash browns, French toast. You can see the pics. All of it was decent... but if waffles were a little soft for me honestly. I like crispy edges... but mine were floppy. Would probably go again around breakfast time and maybe the food will taste better. It's worth mentioning though it was kinda pricey for what it was, but they are way better than ihop and Denny's and they charge a little less. So it's a matter of preference I guess. read more

Here this morning with my son and he wanted to try this place out for the first time. So we did and let me say this place had some awesome service, first off we walked in to a line to being seated right away! To having asked can we get you anything! So much fast service to say the most! Told the lady (Mrs. Chavez) I don't eat much since I had surgery on my stomach- she was so understanding and said well we have these recommendations for you and I felt like I've never had that type of service be for. We were quickly and warmly accepted as a party of 7 on a Friday night ! Our server Douglas was easy to talk to, very nice down to earth guy. Great conversationalist and very attentive! He never once made us feel bad about our large order, in fact encouraged each of us to order exactly as we wanted with recommendations even of his own at hand ! First time coming here, I ordered the country fried steak. You have the option of getting chicken or beef. I chose chicken and my wife got the trio barbecue plate I'm sorry, but it was not good. The meat tasted dry and old. Only good thing was the hot wings. The gumball soup was OK. Customer service was OK. I love the atmosphere but the food is not good. Will not be coming back. read more

I hate diners on Sunday mornings but got dragged to this Norm's and was pleasantly surprised. Service was fast, food cooked to order and all done with a smile. From the host, cashitp bus boy were courteous. Our server Amanda Chavez practically read our minds and had everything our table needed before we even had to ask. He was very rude and could not answer simple questions. Clearly, he lacks experience. NORMS, please remove him from the front- he lacks a great deal of emotional intelligence.
