Expected a little more attention to detail for such a task/price. If you need tint in a rush with appointments asap, this is your spot but maybe an earlier appointment may have helped vs later in the day with the clean up.

When I told him I couldn't do it because it was too expensive, this was his reply: "When you can't find it cheap please don't reach out to use again we have waisted to much time for only a few bucks thanks Matt the owner of Mr wrap." I just have to say. Phenomenal job. This is a family owned business, so the customer service reflects that. Just make sure to take to Jay or Alex. I got a full sound system for my Ford F150 here last week. Alex quoted me a price on the phone. I arrived at 9am the next morning, and I left with a subwoofer upgrade and a few other things. I also brought my daughter and niece's car for window tinting on their Camry and Corolla. They love it. I highly recommend the higher quality ceramic or 3M window film if you can afford it... So husband is marine and we get an offer for tint and audio, my husband had duty that day and told me to take the car by my self. So I did, as soon as I got there the guy Alex would not take his eyes off me made me feel very uncomfortable, he kept telling how beautiful and sexy I was and that my husband must have so much fun with me in bed.. wtf who says that to their customer's, I text my husband and tell him what's going on and tells me to just cancel and leave. North County Window Tint is excellent. They have done my last 5 cars with full tint all the way around. I also just had my Jeep Wrangler fully tricked out with two 12' JL subs, two amps, full separate speaker system, new head unit, rocker switches for my lights, winch, CB, etc. Their head installer extraordinaire Matt did wonders. I've been going here for about 3 years and the window tinting material keeps getting better. I took my Toyota Camry and got a reasonable price with different tint shades and tint materials. Got a free replacement fix, much appreciated. But I had to make time out of my week to go back with an appointment. During my initial visit - A can of window cleaner was left in the back seat, pieces of tint left in my seats, wet driver seat-when returned, streaks down my door panels and windows from the water used -expected but maybe a little wipe down would be nice, since windows can't be rolled down for 3-5 days. Expected a little more attention to detail for such a task/price. If you need tint in a rush with appointments asap, this is your spot but maybe an earlier appointment may have helped vs later in the day with the clean up.

The…read morelast time prior to this recent experience was earlier this year in January to have my brand new vehicle tinted. I wouldn't go anywhere else with my new vehicle. I have a panoramic roof, and I decided not to have it tinted at the time since I had the manufacturer's tint (which really isn't much, it's just colored film rather than tint). The car also has an automated blind cover that I rarely open due to the UV rays/heat exposure. The rest of my windows were tinted with their ceramic tint, so the cabin is relatively cool. However, since my panoramic roof wasn't tinted, and it is now summer, cabin gets so hot and the back seat passengers usually feel the heat during the drive. SO, I came by to have my panoramic roof tinted with 5% ceramic tint (darkest). They get so busy during the summer time, and they were so accommodating to fit me in, and had the work done in a reasonable time, same day. Competitive pricing too! I love that I have this tinted now as I don't feet the heat, and cabin feels nice and cool! Love it! Love their work, as it is of good quality. Service is also great too- friendly, informative, and efficient. Other vendors were quoting double the price of what Shield X asks for too. Highly recommend!

Updated Review Per…read morethe shop's recommendation, I took my vehicle to Tesla for a full inspection of the windshield. After evaluating it, Tesla confirmed that the lines in the glass were caused by external forces -- most likely excessive heat -- and not by any manufacturing defect. They were very clear that there is no scenario where the vehicle would have left the factory with this type of damage. Because of that, the replacement was not covered under warranty, and I had to pay $1,535 out of pocket. Here's what this experience has cost me: * $300 for the original tint * $150 for tint removal -- which I was never informed would be charged, and they only told me I "owed money" after removing it * $1,535 for a new windshield due to damage caused during their tint installation That's almost $2,000 lost, and I'm left with no tint, a brand‑new windshield I had to pay for myself, and zero accountability from the shop. To make matters worse, the owner laughed at my wife during the conversation. That alone tells you everything about the level of professionalism you can expect. If you choose to get your tint done here, understand this clearly: If something goes wrong, you will get no support, no responsibility, and possibly even disrespect. What you may get is a bill for the damage they caused.

I was told it required scrapping and that it could possibly damage the defrosters. So I took my vehicle to Mr. Tint for a second opinion on the windshield, to see if they thought the tint could be removed. Mr. Tint was able to remove it safely, without scrapping and placed a new tint to the windshield. It turned out great. I was so happy and relieved. The owner even showed me some small bubbles and imperfections in the prior tint job I just recently had done. He recommended I call them to fix it. I really appreciated that, bc I could not see the small imperfections with a naked eye. But once he pointed them out, I could see it! Def recommend Mr tint!

FormulaOne Stratos is the best window film on the market, I live in Palm Springs and on a hot summer day you literally cannot feel the sun hitting your skin, steering wheel and seats don't get hot either. So as I tell people, tint your car once and do it right and enjoy the comfort and quality of the window film. It's not cheap but you get what you pay for. He gave me a great deal and made the whole process easy. Johnny did the actual windshield work, and he did an excellent job. The quality of the work was very good, and I could tell they take pride in what they do. On top of that, I also got a quote for window tint and a full windshield replacement, and the pricing honestly seemed like a crazy good deal compared to what I expected. It's refreshing to deal with a business that is professional, fair, honest, and does quality work.
