Came here for a quick bite because previous reviews were raving about it. Got a Caribbean Cooler off of the drink menu. It tasted like an orange juice snow cone, couldn't even taste an ounce of alcohol in it either. The food was eh, my buddies chicken sandwich was way over cooked. This place was awesome! I sat at the bar with four friends to watch the first game of the Final Four. The service was very fast and the bartenders were friendly and talkative. We decided on getting two of the Detroit deep dish style pizzas and half of a Penn Lincoln Hoagie. The food was seriously amazing and I was NOT expecting that from this place. Tried for 30 mins to call in a take out order. Never got an answer. Drove there figuring a bar burger can't take that long. Only to find out they don't have their usual menu available just some limited crap. Not sure what holiday....St Patty's isn't for a week yet. Early? Their website says nothing about it. And the "online order" links you again directly to the phone they DONT answer. Pretty annoying. read more

The ambience is great! But found it to be very odd that you cannot order food over in the bar area until later in the night???? The outside Tiki Bar is a nice atmosphere. Inside reminds me more of a dive bar. I had the Bacon Me Crazy burger. It was good but don't have your cholesterol checked after eating it. So much bacon made it difficult to actually taste the burger though. Service was okay. read more

I understand the reasoning behind closing the indoor restaurant, but you can't advertise 24 craft draft beers and have zero. And, if the menu has been reduced to a skeleton of what it was, you really need to update the website to indicate this. A very disappointing three hour round trip. read more

We went to this restaurant for kegs and eggs. Well we were very disappointed! We were supposed to be treated to a buffet breakfast. Ended up with cold eggs and burnt bacon. We asked if the buffet would be reloaded and were told yes. We waited an hour and no more food was added. Also the waitresses were not waiting on the tables just hanging at the bar. I would not recommend this restaurant bad service, bad food and still charged the full buffet price of $12.80! I would suggest if you can't find good quality help do not have special events. Went there with my daughters softball team today. I get that we had a lot of guests,19, however the group was missing 2 fries, 1 chicken tenders, as a group. Now for the bad part. My entire family, 4 orders, were not even served. So after cancelling since everyone else in the group had finished already and some of the girls shared their food since they all didn't get food I was told they were going to charge me for drinks. Thanks North Star for the drinks and since I went somewhere else to get food had to buy drinks again. Not bad $35 on drinks at 2 restaurants and only got to eat at 1. The environment in summer months is great with the sand volleyball pit, mini golf and outdoor seating. It's great for the kids to be able to loud and/or play outside while not really disturbing others. The inside though is a little dark and an older feel to it. The food is okay, typical casual bar food. The servers are also very nice. read more

We stopped here for drinks before a concert. They had a nice outdoor bar area with games and volleyball etc.. the bartenders were friendly and prompt with the drinks. We will probably stop again sometime. read more

The outside bar is one of the most fun places I've been in the area. There's Cornhole and volleyball, although they only provide soccer balls which was a bit weird. There atmosphere is laid back and the food is great for bar food. read more

The food is pretty good. But EVERY SINGLE TIME I order take out, there is always an issue. Sandwiches are usually wrong, items are missing, I NEVER GET MAYO (okay...one time I actually got mayo...on the side) They even got two pizzas completely wrong even after the guy asked me twice to confirm what I wanted. And the guy who answers the phone always has a chip on his shoulder (God forbid you have to ask someone a question about their sandwich because he'll just hangup on you) All in all the food is generally good, they just don't seem to care enough to get it right. read more

Do not judge this bar by the outside!! Might look like a dive neighborhood bar from the outside (which the inside fits that bill) but the OUTSIDE is like Summer Camp/tropical get-a-way. Came for a going away happy hour today (thursday 8/8/19). Spent most of the time outside on their covered patio. They had volleyball and cornhole which was fun when it wasn't raining and stayed under the roof when it was. Beers were pretty decent, few domestics and a limited selection of spirits. The Italian hoagie was a big a hit along with their french fries. However, don't be fooled like we were, their website mentions complimentary pizza on thursday from 8pm to 9pm but apparently that's "only in winter". Great food and very good service. We went to wing night and it was busy but found a seat outside and our order was taken and had drinks in no time for how busy it was. Ordered flat wings but mistakenly gave is legs but they went out of their way to make it right. Definitely will go back. Fantastic Jersey sub too. Went in a little before 6pm for dinner. Ordered food for 3 people. 2 got their food and it was good. I ordered a small pizza. Waited until 6:50pm. The server even took our payment but no one ever made sure I got my pizza. It never came. Left and will never go back. A complete lack of caring or management. read more

This place is a hidden gem. The portions are absolutely huge and the entire staff does there best too welcome you with happiness. The portions are HUGE and the food is delicious and very well priced. The ambience is a bar setting but all are welcome. If it's a beautiful day the outside tiki hut is amazing with volleyball and many games to play. read more

Good service, wanted to go golfing after but unfortunately we had a downpour just as we finished eating. I had the crab cakes which where not fresh but frozen. For the price I wasn't too surprised at that. Will try different food next time as it seems like a nice place. Other people at my table got burgers which looked much better! The food is excellent here. Half a sandwich will fill you up for the day. The biggest problem they have is the draft beer. The owner built his own cooler instead of buying an industrial one and the beer is always warm and flat. They tried to combat this problem with a wine cooler that chills the pint glasses but that doesn't work. It is a great looking bar but all the patrons that go there drink bottle or canned beer. It's pretty sad not to have a good draft system at a bar. Even the bar tenders complain about the product they have to serve. read more

Fun atmosphere in the Tiki area! This is our favorite place to meet up with a group in the summer. The outside area is perfect for group happy hours and provides FREE corn hole, volleyball and a swing the ring on the hook(?) type game. We stumbled upon their hoagies during a happy hour this summer and these hoagies are hands down the best around. The hoagies are huge and always served on fresh Mancini's bread. The Penn Lincoln and Italian are our favorites. We call in an order to pick up at least once a month. If you order a whole hoagie it's enough for 2! read more

Unless you're a regular (aka WA Alumni) don't bother with this place. Recently moved to the area and attempted this place several times. Unless you know the bartenders/owner/owner's daughter, you are not getting served. When you finally get a drink, it comes in a Dixie cip (unless you're WA alumni, then you get a regular size glass). Ordered pizza... Very thin and burnt. The South Side dive bars have cleaner bathrooms, and there are kids running around everywhere at all hours of the night.
