    Veal parmigiana
    X M.

Although we are giving it 3 stars, it really merits 3.5 stars and has the potential to be 4 stars. I can see where it could deserve 4 stars. Let me explain. We got the veal parmigiana dinner and buffalo salad. The veal Parm dinner was very good, just a little bit cold. We may have waited too long to pick it up. The veal park itself was quite tasty and it was real veal as it said in the menu. As for buffalo salad, the chicken was really good, but a bit too much onion. The portion size for both was generous. This is a small little takeout place with a couple tables, but the people working there are nice. Btw, don't believe the price online, which is not the real price. The actual price is higher than the online menu, but still reasonable.

Lettuce stumps in my Caesar salad. This is so wrong. Give me edible ingredients.

2.5 stars, but I'm rounding up to a three because the food was tasty. Why a 2.5 if the food was good? I don't like when restaurants are being cheap with their ingredients and their effort while raising prices. Let me share what we ordered. We had chicken Alfredo and broccoli with pasta, buffalo chicken cutlets, and a couple of salads. The Alfredo was pretty good and I liked the curly pasta. It held the sauce well. The buffalo chicken cutlets were good, but I prefer boneless buffalo wings. In any case, the cutlets were nice and tender and flavorful. I would get them again. The salads were good, but what bothers me is when staff gets lazy and they don't cut the ingredients properly. The tomatoes in the Greek salad were massive. Who wants to eat tomatoes that are the size of half an apple? If I have to cut the ingredients myself, then I'll make the salad at home. Also, they throw in junk pieces of lettuce. Take a look at my pictures to see what I mean. That bothers me a lot. I'm paying good money during a recession and they threw in lettuce stumps to take up space in the container. I don't appreciate that at all. Be honest with your customers and give them what they pay for. Not ingredients that they have to throw away. This is not OK. Ever. Prices are higher than they were in recent times. Normal for most restaurants these days. Food was mostly good, but it really bothers me that they are not being honest with their customers right now. Businesses that cheat during times like these don't last for very long. Street parking is reasonable. This is a cafeteria style pizza and sub shop that serves pasta and salads as well.

Pesto with mushroom & Eggplant Parm with curly pasta, marinaria sauce

Had their curly pasta with pesto & mushroom and Eggplant parm with curly pasta with marinara. The eggplant was amazing - it seemed to melt in our mouths. We enjoyed both items. Owners were super friendly too. We will be back.

I always forget to give a shout-out for our local pizza joint. I'm not a frequent yelper but I got reminded tonight that I should because everything was delicious as usual. The Capital pizza (chicken with pesto, artichoke, and added banana peppers), shrimp and broccoli calzone, and plain cheese for the little guy. One of these days, we need to branch out and try their non-pizza items.

One of the best pizza I ever had. Fast friendly and affordable. Order from this place!

The chicken wings were soooo good. I'm a big chicken wing fan and these were great. Nice and crispy. My daughter had a slice of pepperoni and she enjoyed that. The staff was very hospitable and friendly. I would definitely recommend and will for sure be going back to try some of their sandwiches, get a pizza and definitely get some wings again.

I strolled in here because I was starving after doing so many errands and it's next to the UPS & USPS stores. I was so surprised about how amazing the food taste and quality is here. I also really appreciate how incredibly kind the cashier was taking my order. She answered all my questions about ingredient swap so kind and so informative. It's so rare I have a nice experience with a pizza shop cashier, I really appreciated her amazing customer service. The cashier went above and beyond to let me know great sides I can add into my Buffalo chicken wrap. Just so friendly and nice. This was honestly the best Buffalo chicken wrap I've ever had. Their chicken tastes amazing!!! They stuff the wraps with a good amount of chicken and aren't cheap on the good ingredients at al I also really appreciated that the seating are booths and they are so comfortable. They also had a tv playing the news and the volume was just perfect (not piercingly loud but good enough that I could hear it) I was also excited to see they offer chili (for $6.95) and clam chowder ($5.50) I can't wait to come back and try it on my next visit. A clear sign of how great this hidden gem is that during my dine in timing of eating my wrap the turn over of customers they got was nonstop with pick up orders. So happy I found this hole in the wall gem!

It wasn't too busy so we were lucky to get a table. They only have a few tables so making a reservation would be a good idea. Soon after we were seated people started showing up and the tables were starting to fill up. We were served complimentary bread and olive oil which was very good while we decided on our dish. They had a few specials that were not on the menu and sounded delicious but we decided to try their shrimp pasta and their chicken cacciatore. We also ordered the house Nina salad which had delicious pears and a light and tangy vinaigrette dressing. The waiter was very nice and I also think he was the cook since you could see into the kitchen and there were only two people behind the counter. Our pasta dishes came out nice and hot and we quickly devoured them. The pasta was cooked perfectly and the shrimp were nice and juicy and fully peeled. The shrimp pasta had a nice lemony and tangy flavor and there was plenty of sauce. The chicken cacciatore was also very good. The chicken was nice and tender and the pasta was super flavorful. They were even kind enough to bring us more bread so we could finish our sauces! We will definitely be back!

The staff are attentive and funny as well. Scutra's menu really impressed me with a broad cuisine consisting of italian pastas, steaks, seafood, and more. We also ordered the lobster avocado tacos which were sublime. Then it was time for the main course, grilled medium rare maple hanger steak, cheddar mashed potatoes, and bacon wrapped haricot vert (green beans). It was bursting with flavor and the sauce was wonderful (maple anything will please me haha) and I got to try someone's rainbow trout with stuffing (including shrimp) which I also really enjoyed. I honestly can't think of another restaurant that captures the essence of Northern Italian cuisine at this level. Every single dish we ordered was exceptional. My advice: go family-style so you can share and experience as much of the menu as possible. The tortellini was outstanding, the pasta with the brandy cream sauce was unforgettable, and the short rib was absolutely phenomenal. Not a single dish missed, and there wasn't one thing we wouldn't order again. To top it all off, the chef came over to our table at the end of the meal to say hello--a thoughtful touch that made an already incredible experience even more memorable. I would put this restaurant up against anything I've had in Italy, and without question, it's the best Italian restaurant in the Boston area. The most surprising part? It's in Woburn, not the North End. 10/10. An unforgettable dining experience

The atmosphere is cozy and intimate, so it's a great place for date night. The Fantastic: 1. Service -- our waiter was amazing, he took great care of us. We wanted for nothing! 2. Tortellini Alla Norcina -- this was delish. It was creamy, a little funky, and the pasta was cooked perfectly. 3. Cacio e Pepe -- also delish. 4. Mussels -- perfectly cooked, big and plump, and the bread to sop up the broth was also yummy. The plates are beautiful, but I think that plating and presentation takes priority over the food sometimes: 1. Bruschetta -- this was supposed to come with a balsamic drizzle, but it was served on a wooden plate and the drizzle was tiny and thin, so there wasn't really any balsamic. The dish could have used it to help cut through the cheese. 2. Bombolone -- dry, there was not a lot of custard in the pastry, and the surrounding sauces were more decorative than helpful. We did not enjoy the mixed drinks, they were all on the sour side and watery. So I would stick with wine or beer, the wine we had was excellent. Overall, we had a really nice time and would return.
