Don't go by what CARFAX said, the dealership, OR the apparent service records. NONE of it matched up, and we were told that if there is something wrong with it, let them know. "We are reasonable. Of course it is "as is", but we have been in business over 30 years because we are reasonable. If something is wrong with the car, let us know." Well, we let them know... We have already spent $450 within the first week on brakes which their reports said are good--checked in July, 2026 with at least 9 more months to go. NOPE! Brakes had 2 mm left. Pretty dangerous to be test driving a car at maximum speeds with so little to brake. And the exhaust with rust? $800. Leaking axle boot--$350. And the timing belt? Car description on website said it was replaced at 71K miles. Not what Carfax had. Didn't have it all in fact. Checked the sticker under the hood... Nothing there except a mechanic's name. I took down the VIN and called around to see if the timing belt was ever done. In my estimation, if I wanted to sell a car, that kinda stuff would be part of my due diligence. Dunno, maybe I'm just old school... So we contacted the dealership, hoping they would be true to their word. My wife called, and the guy said he would have Russ (our salesman) call Back. NOPE again. So my wife called him instead. Russ said he would contact one of the owners to return our call to work on this. Guess what... NEGATIVE. Is it deception? Miscommunication? Disorganization? Whatever it is, they haven't followed through. And we are out an extra couple thousand. Other reviews say they're nice guys. Sure, not a jerk in the bunch, but if they can't be counted on, who cares? Maybe this review will jog someone's brain and they will contact us. I would be happy to rewrite this review. And my son, as of Sept. 5th, needs a used car, pronto. Wish I could send him to Mason Car Company...

Found through cargurus.com that Jake Sweeney had a car i was interested in. I live in WV, and the dealership was in OH, so our entire business was conducted via phone and email. The car price was in context of other Hilanders i had seen per year/mileage. From the get-go the sales person, Jason Vaughn was communicative, and preemptively sent me a video walk through, showing the inside and outside of the car. He was very responsive and we were able to get a deal done via the phone. There weren't a bunch of random fees, the only additional thing was a protective coating they added to the car (~$300) and a doc processing fee (~$400), which, honestly i was fine with as i was expecting more in the way of random fees, having had that experience with other dealers. They also gave me a discount that essentially waived those fees. Jason pointed me in the direction of a reputable car transport company, which worked with our schedule to deliver our new car in about a week at a competitive price (around $700). The thing for me that makes this a 5 star rather than a 4 star review, was that post the sale, Jason continued to be communicative and help us. I had a title issue (needed it to be an OR title for me and my wife, but we received an AND) which Jason researched and let me know that it came down to state regs and OH didnt have OR titles. I also had questions about the protective coating they added and he went out and sent me pics of the bottle so i could see what washes / waxes / coatings were compatible. Overall my bar for used car dealers is pretty low, but Jason and Jake Sweeny made the process of finding and buying my car easy and smooth, and surprisingly, still were communicative post sale. Would recommend this place and Jason Vaughn specifically as a good person to work with.

I had my 2015 Volvo V60 2.5T engine rebuilt in October 28, 2024 SO#V405663. Work started on…read more9/10/2024. I was without my vehicle for that time. Total cost was $8,442.90 I went back on 11/20/2024 SO#V407410 with an oil leak and my vehicle shutting off randomly. Diagnosis was that the boost hose was not secure and they replaced the clamp. Determined no oil leak. Vehicle was in the shop for one day. I went back again on 12/5/2024 SO#V407746 with an oil leak and vehicle shutting off randomly. Determined failed oil trap line and vacuum leak. Again returned to the dealer on 2/3/2025 SO#V409061 with an oil leak and shutting off randomly. Determined torque fault converter and no oil leak found. Recommended new transmission. 7/7/2025 I returned to Volvo to fix the oil leak. That has been consistently happening since the initial fix. The top of the motor is covered in dark motor oil. I was told the oil drain plug was leaking. No answer for the oil on top of the motor. Volvo's latest theory is the oil has been poured on the top of the engine although the oil is dark and the last time it was brought in they had cleaned the motor oil off of the car. Instructed to return 7/18 since they have died the oil this time. This is the 7th time I have returned to the dealership.

And he helped coordinate everything with the guys who prepared the contracts and worked with my credit union to put the whole deal together. I expect that from small businesses not BMW NoAmerica. Ridiculous. Coupled with the overall increase in prices, I'm not sure I'll be back because of the credit card fee.
