When I arrived, Mike greeted me with a friendly smile and explained the process clearly -- no jargon, no pressure, just honesty. One big bonus? They offer a free ride service for locals to and from the shop. I've never had that before, and it made dropping off my car so much easier. They also communicated throughout the day via text with updates, which I really appreciated. When I came back to pick up my car, the bill was walked through step-by-step, and I was told that if the issue worsens, I can bring it back within a year for a free assessment or fix. Turns out there is an oxygen pressure sensor vent that's part of the gas cap. I had recently switched out the original one for an after-market one and apparently the seal wasn't exactly right. I put the original back in and the Check Engine light went out. Some other repair techs might have charged an awful lot to "investigate and diagnose" that problem. (It is a stupidly severe warning for something so simple.) Dave's been up front and fair in all my repair assessments so far. Highly recommended!

But that's comparable to similar shops in the cities and it did come with two hours of testing and the peace of mind of knowing my car isn't going to fall apart like a looney tunes car.
